After I brought up the primary issue I came in for, he made no effort to examine the area of concern -- not even a basic visual inspection. Instead, he immediately dismissed it, saying it was "not something he knows to check for," which was honestly perplexing considering it's a fairly common concern that dermatologists should at least be familiar evaluating. The entire appointment lasted maybe five minutes and mostly consisted of him saying, "You look great, don't worry," without performing any meaningful analysis, testing, or assessment whatsoever. It genuinely felt rushed and dismissive. In fact, even the technician in the room seemed to recognize how unhelpful the interaction was, because after the dermatologist left, she stayed behind and took the initiative to actually look at the area herself and offer some insight. While I appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the actual consultation with the dermatologist did not feel thorough, attentive, or medically useful.

They penciled me in at 11:30 with Traci, the Physicians Assistant, and were BEYOND courteous on the phone. I was pretty upset when they called them and they were so so so nice about it. I arrived early, so they got me in early. I was seen immediately by the extremely friendly staff and the PA. They LISTENED to everything I said and were able to accurately and quickly diagnose my five-time-misdiagnosed skin condition. This place is amazing. I'll never go anywhere else.

They said they sent me a text a few days ago and I didn't confirm appt. I checked the text. It was sent 4 days ago. It was so long that I briefly checked it and then didn't see in fine print that I was to confirm appt. I think this is a poor practice. Older adults often don't constantly check texts and there is a fair amount of spam going on . We can miss the fine print. Please reconsider this practice of cancelling appt without actually talking to the patient! Some of us travel from other cities, or have other plans that they rearrange to make these appointments.

Most of their emails do NOT include an unsubscribe button (which is non-compliant with the anti spam laws) and they also pretty much force you/your data into their research database. I filled out paperwork with no marketing/no research specified and they ignored it altogether. They also will ask for PII if you respond to an email with the subject of Unsubscribe.....ridic, and not required in any way to remove an email address from a database. Seems they care not ONE iota about what is good for anyone other than their larger purposes as a humongous chain of clinics. Wish I had never heard of them. Oh, they also charge double or triple what most other, non-chain derm clinics I have been to charge for procedures.

While I get that he might've had a busy day, it didn't really feel like he was fully listening to my concerns, which was quite disappointing given the money I have to spend out of pocket towards my deductible ($100+ for what was a ~5-10 min appointment).
