If you're into long waits, short visits, and broken promises -- congratulations, you've found your clinic! I had two appointments here in September. Both started with me sitting in the waiting room long enough to start questioning my life choices, only to be rushed through a "consultation" so fast I half expected the doctor to say, "Thanks for stopping by, next!" Then comes the real circus -- billing. My copay is $35, but apparently this office runs its own economy, because I was charged $55 both times. I politely corrected them (silly me for thinking honesty mattered), and they swore a refund check would be sent "that week." That was months ago. Since then, I've called five times, heard five different versions of the same fairy tale, and--shockingly--still no refund. If I owed them money, I'm sure I'd already be starring in a collections notice. But since they owe me, it's apparently a game of "let's pretend to care." The level of disorganization and indifference here is honestly impressive--like they've made mediocrity their brand. Bottom line: this place couldn't manage a lemonade stand, let alone a medical practice. Save yourself the stress, the lies, and the $20 mystery surcharge. read more

I called because I'm very specifically looking for a dermatologist who will prescribe the 2.5 mg minoxidil for female hair loss. When I called I explained this to a receptionist with an attitude problem. This receptionist stated to me that"we seeeeeeee people for hair loss but I don't know what they do. I can transfer you to a nurse." So I said okay. Get transferred. It rings 3 times and then hangs up on me. I am so pi$$ed that I'll just go with either Hers or HappyHead online since clearly Cheyenne Skin Clinic doesn't want customers. read more

I had a very nice quick appointment with an NP at the Cheyenne Skin Clinic. I was wanting to have an annoying mole removed in my armpit that I continually snag while shaving. I got in quickly, she shaved it right off and was in and out in less than 15 minutes! A month later, I received a bill for over $500 dollars and could not believe it! I've had similar procedures done at other clinics in the front range for less than half this cost! A couple of family members and friends told me not to go here because of their outrageously high prices. I should have listened. I was short on time and thought I'd give them a try, but NEVER AGAIN! The cherry on top of the outrageously high bill was that they turned me into collections! I initially called their billing office when I first received the bill thinking there has to be a mistake, the lady I spoke with said she would talk with the provider about seeing if there was any way to reduce charges and she would call me back. I didn't hear anything for about a month, so called to follow up and learned they went ahead and sent it to collections without notifying me whatsoever. Wow! What a way to treat new patients. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for services! read more

WORST. PLACE. EVER. I made an appointment a month in advance, and STILL ended up in the waiting room for over an hour. Not exaggerating--I was sitting there for 67 minutes before I got called in. Then, I didn't even see a doctor, I saw a NP, who was fully ignorant of my skin rash, and wouldn't listen to any of my related symptoms. She gave me NO OPTIONS for treatment, but simply said "we don't always know what these things are". Really? Because you don't seem to know what ANYTHING is. I came in again, when the rash got worse, and was basically told to wait it out. After a visit to my GP, I found out the rash was exactly what I suspected it was in the beginning--hormonal imbalance. It was cured withing a week, after that. If you MUST go to a derm clinic in Cheyenne, avoid this prominent one. And especially avoid Cathy Parish. Avoid avoid avoid! read more

I made an appointment yesterday for 10:00 am today, showed up early checked in and sat down. They called me up for an insurance card, then called me up again to fill out paperwork. It seem like the room turned over almost 2 times while I was waiting my turn. When I walked back up and said I had been there an hour waiting she said she apologized and that Cathy Parish was very busy. I sat back down and waited, and when the nurse came out and called two different people, I finally got up and left. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. My time is worth more to me than just sitting in the lobby waiting for a doctor that can't manage her time. As far as the staff, they weren't unfriendly but they definitely weren't friendly either. read more

My first visit I waited an hour and the doctor didn't even do a full exam, which is important with my history of melanoma. I decided to try them again today but waited 45 minutes with no end in sight before I finally just cancelled the appointment. I think I will make the drive to a better dermatologist in Fort Collins from now on. read more

I went here to see Dr. Neville on a Friday morning. She is a very nice, very knowledgeable doctor. I had a cyst and two moles removed, and fortunately they were all non-cancerous. Doctor and nurse provided very good after-care instructions, and results of my biopsies were received in about two weeks. I am a two time (breast and ovarian) cancer survivor, so we discussed the necessity for me to continue monitoring my skin. Many people forget that cancer can manifest itself in the skin at any time, and that it's highly treatable if caught early. So, we made arrangements for an annual skin examination. Time may be the one area in which to watch CSC, but that's really with ALL healthcare providers, really. I was due to be seen at 10:15, and was finally seen about 11. The doctor had an emergency come up, which pushed her schedule back. I appreciated the updates from the reception staff. (Most other practices just leave you sitting, with no explanation.) My only advice would be that, per one of the other reviews, it seems that time may be a constant issue, so please plan accordingly. Regardless, highly recommended! read more

My husband and I see Dr. Thomas at Cheyenne Skin Clinic. We've been happy with the service we've received. The office is easy to find and has plenty of parking. The staff and doctors are very friendly and helpful. There are no long wait times and it's a smooth process checking in and out. Good place to get moles removed as well. Very disappointed with Cheyenne Skin Clinic. I've now been there 3 times for the same issue over the span of two years. Most recently, I saw Dr. Surbrugg who suggested the very same treatments I've been doing now for months and months. At one point in the visit, she asked me "what I wanted to do." Huh? Am I really paying (and yes, I'm a self-pay) $300/hr to be asked what I wanted to do. The reason I went to the clinic is because I had exhausted all of "my" treatments. Furthermore, in 3 visits, not one clinician wanted to do a "head to toe" skin exam. If I'm charged $75 just to set my foot in the door, I expect a skin check to be part of the visit (at least annually at minimum). Lastly, Dr. Surbrugg falsely marked on the visit note that she examined 10 areas of my body, which if fact, she did not. I will not use this clinic in the future. read more

It was easy to schedule, a nice facility, the staff and doctors were kind, professional, and personable. They listened, looked at my history, and asked well informed questions to build a strong knowledge base before making decisions about my care and diagnosis. Test results and explainations came back quickly and a doctor called to share those with me and to talk to me about the next steps. I am so completely impressed with this facility! I had a 10:15 appointment with PA Caitlyn McCue. I showed up 15 minutes early to complete my paperwork. I was taken to the room within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. I waited less than 2 minutes in the room, before I was greeted by Caitlyn. She listened to my concerns and discussed my options. Once I had decided to proceed with one of the proposed treatment plans, she proceeded to perform the procedures RIGHT THEN AND THERE!! Yes!!! I was certain they'd make me schedule a separate appointment for the procedure, and today would just be a consult. I was THRILLED to get it all taken care of in one quick and efficient visit! I didn't even have time to get nervous or anxious about it. :). Very pleased with the results as well! I was back on my car in less than an hour from when I arrived! This is a group of rockstars!! Will definitely be going back here for regular skin screenings, and any concerns I may have, regarding my skin, in the future. Thanks ladies!!! read more

The Doctor I have seen here is great, however I recently received a bill that was for a list of charges from years back. I called and was told that the bill was due and they had contacted my insurance and they were told I was no longer under that insurance and they had done everything needed. I was also told that if I felt there was and issue that I could call the state insurance fraud representive and would have to show the proof otherwise that the billing is wrong. I then called my insurance who provided me with the statement that these charger were with in their contract rights to waive and I was not responsible for paying the bill.. oh yeah I called back the dr office billing and they said they would waive the "billing", yes I'll be calling the state insurance representative because I don't think I'm the only one who may have been billed wrong! This is really bad they tried to get $147 from me! I urge everyone who get a bill that is odd to investigate it! I feel really bad for those who just pay, because I asked if anyone had question there bills and the very very rude biller I spoke to stated that NO One is questioning their bills. Which I have a hard time believing! read more

I have had an ongoing scalp condition for 5 years. The hair binds to the skin with a sticky secretion that hardens to crystals.The only thing I've found to cut it is ammonia. no shampoos help.There is no signs of infection and it's non-contagious.After explaining all this to the "doctor" at cheyenne skin clinic she says"I'm going to prescribe some antibiotics for you for the swelling and infection'. She didn't even look at my scalp or seem to hear a word I said.I got up and left yelling "QUACK,QUACK' on my way out of their office past the waiting area of next victims.Now I keep getting a bill for their lousy services.They are really 'Quacks' S.J.K. read more
