This Saturday was our first time actually checking out Classic on Main. Very neat store and neat items I was about to purchase 3 items all together little under $200. Unfortunately not impressed by the store employee/owner not really sure what he was. We gladly left and spent zero. About an hour later an acquaintance of ours walks in and complemented how nice his store was.. he said "well buy something" hahaha! What a joke! Yup asking for business but running people off at the same time. I don't care if your a millionaire or live paycheck to paycheck but you Sir need some home training. For the elderly lady that walked in and asked if you could tell her where a restroom was located in the immediate area and you ignored her. What comes around goes around. This store was just that with a slightly higher pricetag attached to said "pieces". The store was very clean and full of character but so were all the other stores on this short strip.

They had so many cute clothing items, accessories, trinkets...they layout of the shop is also unique...the owner was super friendly and helpful. I've walked past this store so many times, but thought it was more of a gallery or home decor...I love this place - looking forward to my next visit to Salado :)

Not only did I find some lovelies to add to my collection I got to meet and visit a little with the owner. She is lovely lady and I must admit i enjoyed talking to her as much as I did wondering through her clean, well organized shop of treasures. If you are in the area you should definitely drop in, she has a fabulous assortment of items and they are fairly priced.

The young lady working behind the counter was extremely rude. When my sister picked up a coffee mug…read morehanging on the wall with other merchandise she was abruptly told "don't touch the cups". Apparently the cups belong to a coffee club. The rude lady then told us there are signs that say don't touch. We had a really bad experience in the Strawberry Patch in contrast to the other very friendly people in Salado.

Now 10 years later I still make my way there even though my brother moved to Temple. The Salsa's are amazing and I am ordering more online .
