I had the pleasure of receiving a treatment from Sage this past weekend. To start with a logistical aspect, Sage is available on Sundays, when most practitioners are closed! This is great both for those who can't regularly make weekday hours and for emergencies. Her office is easy to get to on Grand Ave, including several bus lines (the 12, for sure). I came with a more energetic/somatic issue, and Sage was able to truly hear and hold the depth and breadth of what I was working on, and translate that into a treatment plan. She has healing hands, and I felt relaxed even just when she was holding my wrists to take my pulses. In addition to needles she used moxa, but this awesome special moxa that actually smelled good and not skunky! Bonus! The whole treatment was deeply relaxing for me, and later in the day I continued to have belly releases related to her care. I came in to see Sage because of her expertise in Women's Health. I got 2 cupping treatments from Sage and got great results. The tension and pain in my back and shoulders decreased significantly after the first treatment, and more after the 2nd one!
