Christina is incredible! We are all so privileged to have her in our community. I've been a client now for 8 years. Here's why: first, she absolutely knows what she's doing. Second, her treatments work. No ifs ands or buts about it. They work. Pick an ailment. Over the years, I've had tennis elbow, digestive issues, lower back pain, nerve pain and a few others that I'm not recalling at the moment. She's cured & fixed everything. I'm at the height of my health thanks to her. I so grateful for her and her staff. Eastern medicine is completely different that western medicine. Western medicine is designed to medicate and creates a cycle of keeping someone on those meds because the effects of those meds create additional issues that a person has to take more meds for. Acupuncture and herbs are the opposite. Eastern medicine is designed to help the body heal itself in a natural way by opening up the energy that naturally flows within all of us. I highly recommend Christina at Thrive Acupuncture! My mother and I are both getting good results from our treatments with her. My mother has dementia and Christina has been wonderful about accommodating the limitations of my mom's lack of short-term memory. And she is a master at getting mom comfortable on the bed (creative use of pillows and the bed head can raise up) since my mom has some low and mid-back discomfort when lying on her back. Christina has helped calm my mother's central nervous system, which had had a positive effect on her overall wellbeing, but best of all is that her anxiety-induced tremors are greatly reduced, maybe gone! Christina not only administers the acupuncture, but is very holistic in her approach. She recommends custom-blended herbs if appropriate (if the patient is open to trying them, can always say no thanks) and really listens and offers insights and suggestions on ways to optimize one's overall wellbeing. She will review any supplements you take and offer suggestions on ones she thinks might help. She is always upbeat, sweet and is clearly passionate about her work which makes her a joy to be around. The office is a calming, beautiful space. And so well run and organized. Megan the office manager is delightful and makes it so easy to book appointments, or you can do it online. Christina is absolutely fabulous and knows the body and acupuncture very well! She is compassionate and listens to you and helps you feel better! Each time I've gone I seen results right away. Very very expensive. $240 for the first visit and the herbs didn't help at all. I was nauseous to begin with and her powdered herbs just made it worse. She expected me to come in every week for a total of $660 for the first month. That's half my monthly income. And I was supposed to keep coming in for months. Turns out the problem was simply gastritis - inflammation of the stomach lining, easily treatable with a high water content diet and an acid reducing drug before meals for a couple months. Sure wasn't going to get this information from her. Complete waste of $240. My advice - unless you've got $600 a month to spare for at least several months, keep looking - she's got to be one of the most expensive TCM practitioners around. Also do not go to her if you're in a health crisis and don't go without a diagnosis. read more

I would strongly recommend Christina at Thrive Acupuncture. My husband had a injured shoulder and chose to go to Christina. His shoulder became stronger and, after treatments, it was no longer injured. I had a difficult foot problem that stemmed, I think, from having 2 bolts in it. . Since my husband had been helped, I decided to give acupuncture a try. She started me with multiple treatments in a week for several weeks. My foot got much better. Since it is a chronic problem, due to the bolts still being in my foot, I now, get treatment monthly or biweekly. I describe any issues I have at the beginning of the appointment and she modifies the acupuncture accordingly. I feel loose and relaxed after the treatment and can feel a difference in the following days or weeks. I would suggest you try Thrive Acupuncture in Santa Rosa. read more

I've been seeing Christina regularly for a couple of years now and I can't say enough good things about her. She and her assistant are kind and helpful, even being willing to deal with my insurance, which is something so difficult most places don't bother (alternative medicine insurance is designed to be awful). The office is comfortable and I've always felt very safe there. Both for my disabilities (they take nontoxic and fragrance-free to a level most doctors don't even know exists and are able to do extra accommodations on top of that) and for visits during Covid times. I went to this acupuncturist on a recommendation to help me with my arthritic knees. Christina is very knowledgeable in the practice , which she has done for many years. Both my husband and I have continued getting treatments for over 10 years! She is part of our health care system. I went to Christina for help with the side effects of radiation treatments. This place is a game changer. I have seen other acupuncturists, but Christina's healing sessions are far superior to any other I have experienced.
