After a morning of horseback riding at a nearby park, we stopped that this shopping center for ramen, sushi and sake! We got there right around opening and were the first customers. They greeted us right away and told us to pick any table. The server came out and took our order pretty quickly. It was nice and dark and very quiet inside. Our food took about 25-30 minutes but when it came out it was very well presented. We literally ate everything up. I wish I could remember the name of the two ramens--but one had crispy crunchy chicken and the other had ground pork. Both had wonderful flavor. The sushi was all very good too. I had the cold lychee sake and they bring you a small bottle which was nice because I didn't finish it and was able to take it with me. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area!

FYI: my wife and I love to visit sushi restaurants. We have enjoyed sushi once a week now for about 20 years all over the country. We visited Sage at least 6 times over a year, "when we are in town". This is one of our favorite places... The chef is Brian, he has been involved with the sushi restaurant business since childhood. The first thing we noticed is the sushi is extremely fresh, you know sweet & buttery.!! Brian is generous with his cuts, just like you're family. Presentation is very important to him, like an artist.. They do offer Sake, Wine, and Beer. The menu has a great verity of dishes, salads, sushi, and sushi rolls. there are also non-sushi dishes for those who haven't dove into the sushi waters yet.. Sage is a very clean, with a casual and friendly atmosphere. Yumm..!!

We have been here twice so far. Once during their soft opening and about a few months later. The ambiance is peaceful. The service is fairly slow depending on where you sit. Staff is friendly. It did take a while for us to get our food. The food is tasty, however both times we wanted to try their tan tan men it wasn't available. We do want to come back to try it.

My wife and I ate a Mother's Day lunch today at Sage Sushi. The Gyoza, Wanton Soup, Sushi and of course Saki was excellent not to mention the service as well. We will be back.

Chicken hibachi, salad and two 12oz cans of soda for almost $30.00

a family member told me about this place a few weeks ago. First off, I drove by the place two other times looking for it and passed right by because there are two signs, one for nails and one for sushi. The place was completely empty (between 4:30 & 6:00pm) when I walked in and I was greeted by a young lady asking if I had placed a to-go order. I told her no I was looking to place an order and eat; she handed me a menu that I skimmed through and I settled on the chicken hibachi with a salad and a soda, which were cans. I was shocked at the price, but paid and asked to sit at a table to wait hoping the amount of food would be worth the price. The wait was acceptable for what was being prepared; it was very quiet & relaxing wait since I was the only person there and it only took about ten to fifteen minutes before the young lady brought me a to-go bag... which I opened and ate at the table; two sections filled with rice and the main section with veggies & chicken; the salad was in a separate container. The was also a little cup of yum yum sauce and a small cup of (guessing) sesame dressing for the salad. The hibachi itself was very good...chicken, mushrooms, zucchini, onions & carrots; the salad, even with the dressing was very plain and bland. I left a 20% tip just for the food because it was good, but don't see myself going back...slightly over $30, including the tip, for one person is a little ridiculous! I could have driven to a steakhouse and had a good ribeye for that cost.

Won't return. Spacious; disposable cute chopsticks; chipped water bottle. No liquor license Forks are on the table. The server brought over chopsticks later, asking if we need. Service is good. Food is so so - the rice is on the hard side, which I don't like. We ordered Sage sushi special twice and they came differently. Two eel nigiri are ok. Sage sashimi special is so so. Spicy salmon roll isn't spicy.

Nice atmosphere good food good service. This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. We had our own booth, which was very comfortable and the waitress was very attentive. The sushi was delicious. The fish was very tender. Their prices are very reasonable. But what we liked a lot was the atmosphere was relaxing.

This place will scratch your sushi itch. The fish is fresh and well-presented in the set. (I'd warn against ordering the uni like I did on the side as it was $20 for two pieces, though.) The interior is peaceful and minimalistic, and the service is straightforward.

Great new restaurant in Sun City Center- excellent selection of sushi with hibachi also available - we had the "sex on the beach" "Spicy tuna roll" "tempura shrimp" and dumplings . All were excellent , tasty , fresh and delicious . Service was excellent as well Jen did a great job, personable , knowledgeable and professional . Last but not least they did a great job on the remodel - this place is a much welcome addition to the local restaurant scene . Highly recommend

Not sure how I did not discover this place before. Ambiance is nice. Music in background. Several booths but mostly tables. Service was excellent. Good was absolute delish.

I'm starting off with a 4 star review as 3 is too low but they have not yet reached a five. First it's a really nice place very well laid out with a Mr Myogi house kind of vibe with the wood accents in and between the booths. The servers are friendly and there are some good menu choices and hopefully I will be back to sample more. The Yellow Tail sashimi was nice and fresh and sliced very well. The Gyoza dumplings were fair as half were just lukewarm and the dipping sauce lacked any real kick. The Chicken Udon noddles was fairly bland not much in the way of any defining taste. The Tan Tan Men was good, lots of noodles and ground pork with a flavorful broth. Since we ordered these two main dishes together was kind of put off that the Udon came out first and 10 minutes more for the Tan Tan. That kind of throws off the dinner vibe some. I'm liking this so far and hope that as they go the experiences will improve.

It is great place to spend afternoons and evenings with friends. Now, the reason for taking two of the 5 stars go with the following points: -In a busy day the waiting time could be longer than what you may be willing to wait. Due to shortage of staff. -Do not expect food, the usual food truck os not up to the game - No draft Guinness anymore? They pour the can into the Guinness glass (sorry not cool )

Lots of seating options are spread out throughout the different rooms. A couple of games are available to play, including darts, a digital game (maybe golf?) and their version of The Hook and Ring game. They have a full liquor bar with a few beers on tap. I enjoyed the Freakshow wine (the blend) that I was served. There are a couple of TVs in one of the larger rooms - that coupled with $2 mimosas on Sundays makes this a solid spot for Sunday funday fans. Like the neighboring businesses, the Patio Lounge backs up to the Pinellas Trail, which although is not a new thing, provides a peaceful walk from the bar to the other bars (or the parking garage). I don't make it out to Dunedin very often these days but if I do, I would definitely return to TPL.

The ambience in this place is magical, the seating area, the decorations, the drinks the service is amazing. We went a little early because we were on our way to a soccer game, however, this did not stop the magic from occurring. I could definitely see how this place could get jampacked with fun during the late night hours. They have a DJ booth set up in the middle of the bar area, the music is a great choice and a perfect vibe! And the drinks that they serve here are phenomenal. You can definitely tell that they have put their heart and soul into these drinks. If you ask for any recommendations, they tailor it to you and definitely pick the best drink on the menu for your taste buds. Their espresso martini has been rated number two this past year and lost first place by two votes , but I definitely think they deserve number one for years to come. This was the best espresso martini that I've ever tasted. The flavor was so smooth they were no complaints. My fiancé even ordered the smoked old fashion, oh my gosh this came out with the perfect presentation. And the flavor was so unique, you must try this place! The only downside is, they aren't serving food currently due to low staffing. But their food menu does look great! I hope they bring this in soon.
