Monday 2/17, tried to call twice around 530-550 pm to order by phone as I was running other errands and the calls went straight to voicemail and said they don't take voicemails. Finally, I resorted to placing an online order, able to pay online as well through Apple Pay luckily. I drove to the location which I was familiar with as it's on my way to the gym, but I grew confused as I pulled into the strip mall for Cajun Crab House looking for a Waves Crab House sign. I would have possibly assumed they were the same thing if the big red Cajun Crab House sign was on, but it was not so I automatically thought I ordered from the wrong place. (That's on me I didn't notice the flashing open sign under the name.) At that point (before I saw the open sign), I tried calling again. This time I got an answer and they explained it's the same business (and then I saw the flashing open sign). The staff was extremely professional and the person who provided me my order went through the bag to ensure it contained all the parts of my combo, offering me gloves, bibs, and wipes as well, which I accepted. There was a sign that states the staff should always review items in bag to ensure correct order, which I appreciate! Great SOP. My combo had crab, sausage, and headless shrimp. Two pieces of potato, two corn on the cob pieces. Rice was cooked to perfection (moist). We got the house seasoning (all three combined?) and mild spice. I don't love spicy and it wasn't too spicy for me. I haven't had Mr and Mrs Krab in a while so it's hard to compare the flavors I think but I feel like I always love Mr/Mrs Krab and I only liked this one. Not sure if I'm grasping at straws here but it tasted like the other crab boil bits are marinated in flavor but here it tasted like it was cooked then tossed in the seasoning. Cajun Crab House is Waves Crab House Still very good and I think it was fair for the price. I think after tip and tax I paid $42-45 and it fed two of us comfortably. Only thing is we don't have crab tools at home. Not their fault, but wish there was some kind of to go crab claw breaking tool lol. All in all, would definitely be back!

I decided to try this restaurant with a group of friends. When we arrived we noticed that the staff was friendly. Also, they have a lot of available seats, so we were seated right away. We tried the Combo C that includes blue crab, snow crab, sausage, shrimp, potatoes, corn and green mussels. The seasoning we tried was Cajun. The taste was really good and the shrimp had a large size. It was definitely enough for the three of us. I'm coming back soon!

Decent Seafood, But a Few Drawbacks I recently visited Wave Crab House and tried their seafood boil -- I ordered Combo D, which came with mussels, shrimp, and crab. The food was good overall, flavorful and satisfying, though nothing that really stood out compared to other seafood boils I've had. Service was okay -- our server was very nice and polite, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. We didn't get refills during our meal, which was a bit of a letdown considering the spice and saltiness of a seafood boil. I also noticed the prices were a bit higher than similar seafood spots in the area. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're comparing options. Would I go back? Possibly -- but I'd probably have to think twice and maybe explore other spots first.

We celebrate my 60th birthday and I chose to pick my own seafood. In the picture I have shrimp, calamari, smoked sausage, scallops and crab legs underneath. YUM! Highly recommend their house seasoning and extra spicy! Can't wait to go back!

We were looking for a place I can eat at that fits my current strict dietary restrictions and found this place. The food was delicious and didn't contain sugar dairy or gluten or any processed junk. Ash was our server and she was very friendly and in our interactions with her made us feel welcome But that was the problem. The place was empty. We had to wait 25 mins for the food then another 20 mins for the check. Ash checked up on us one time right after we got the food and then we never saw her again. With so few people in house you would expect the service to be faster.

The staff at Waves was so welcoming and pleasant especially for having to be there on Christmas...which we were grateful for. My mom and I both had the snow crab boil with red potatoes and it was delicious. Great pricing and delicious drinks. Highly recommend

Our family came down to visit and they wanted seafood. We'd never tried Waves but I'm happy we did. My seafood boil was delicious and everyone else's meals were good as well.

First impression was a little suspect because it's clearly a house turned restaurant/bar. Once we got inside though, I loved the charm of it. There are different rooms you walk through and they have it all set up with tables and chairs....all different kinds so it's a modge podge of tables. Then there are cool chandeliers over the tables and bar signs everywhere. Our waitress was a new implant to Florida and she was super sweet and helpful. She also made a mean vodka tonic! Ok so let's get to the food. First we ordered the Fried Alligator Bites and the Fried Green Tomatoes as appetizers and they were both delicious! The alligator wasn't super chewy and the voodoo sauce was banging! I went with the Shrimp and Grits and sheesh I was blown away! I loved the texture and the taste of the grits. They had just the right amount of cheese and the shrimp were cooked perfectly! The hubby got the Grouper Tacos and he said they were good but a little dry. He wished they had some more toppings...either sauce or pico de gallo. My daughter got the mussel pasta. She loved the mussels but was disappointed by the penne pasta. She wished it was a bit saucier as it only had a lemony/wine liquid that wasn't sticking to the pasta. All in all this place was good. We will go at least once more since it's by where we're staying and I want to try a couple more things on the menu.

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to be in for a great experience. It is overwhelming when you arrive. So many different venues with different names. Very confusing at first. But the staff were helpful, friendly & explained they're all the same place just different areas of appeal. They have a beach area, typical dining areas, intimate cove areas, and bar areas. Well done on atmosphere! DH & I came for dinner around 6 on a Sat evening. We figured we'd have a wait but they seated us within 20 mins of arriving. We asked to be seated outside with a water view. They don't disappoint. Our waiter was fantastic. Always tentative and remembering the little things. To start DH ordered a beer. It was served & cold. I ordered a Mojito which was ok, nothing special. For dinner I got the Lump Crab BLT. Don't expect big lumps of crab meat. The rest of the ingredients are a hint of flavors & that really made it great. Beware, it is a delicious but very messy sandwich. The side salad was a hit. Very fresh & flavorful. DH ordered the Tenderloin Steak Sandwich. He was very happy with the flavor. It was not dried out and had a good seasoning. His side of fries were good too. The atmosphere can't be beat. Walk around & check out all the areas.

(Also iykyk BTS members were here too :DD) We arrived around 3 PM, and the restaurant was super busy and packed. I was expecting a wait but we got seated right away. Initially, we asked to sit outside and it was really nice at first. The breeze and fresh air in the shade were definitely 10/10. But as the afternoon went on, the sun got much hotter and the seagulls became absolutely VICIOUS LOLL, so we ended up asking to move inside. The staff were so accommodating and let us pick whichever table we wanted, which I really appreciated. Now onto the food, WOW was the first word that came out of my mouth the portions are HUGE. There were a lot of great options to choose from, but I ended up getting the grilled lobster mac and cheese. The portion was HEFTY. I ate so much, yet it still looked like I barely made a dent in the bowl lol. The flavor was good, but it was saltier than I expected, and the more I ate, the more noticeable the saltiness became. I didn't catch the names of my friends' dishes, but they all really enjoyed their meals. Overall, it's a great spot with amazing views, generous portions, and great service. Not super busy on a gorgeous Saturday night…read more The good: the shrimp boil is amazing. I do wish there was an option to order more bread to go along with it. The location on the water is beautiful and the patio tables are great, with fans to help with temperature control. The meh: This place is super inconsistent, even within the same visit. I had one spicy margarita that was amazing and had a couple of jalapeno slices. My friend ordered one that was missing the jalapenos and was just ok. The cooks forgot to add the honey sriracha sauce to our brussel sprouts (which I've had here before so I knew something was missing). The solution to just bring a cup of the sauce to the table was not it. The bad: That parking lot. Not a single place to park, yet the restaurant was not at all busy. It seemed like people parked there and walked next door. Just ok. $75 for two drinks and two apps seems excessive when they just can't get it right.
