The boils here are excellent. The price is a bit much, but the food was excellent. We had 2x 1/2lb Snow crab/Shrimp/Lobster boils which come with 2 Potato's and 2 Corn in each. We didn't get Cajun sauce, but we got the butter which was great. I'm sure the others are tasty as well. DoorDash delivered, but I didn't take a picture because I was too hungry, maybe next time. Not the seafood experience I was expecting; I came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Prty of 2, order 1/2lb of snow crab build a boil for $18.95. You also choose your sauce and then level of spicy so added a side order of potatoes $2.75 which came with 3 medium sized red potatoes. (Mild Garlic Butter ) Also ordered a calamari basket with sweet potato fries, first basket came out well done overcooked. Angela my server was super nice and understood the situation and brought the food back to the kitchen to redo. The second basket came out nicely cooked to appearance, the only complaint was that they don't remove the over skin of the calamari before cutting the body of the squid. This leaves each ring with a elastic band like a rubber band between the bread layer and the meat your supposed to eat. I told my server that this was the first time I've encountered this dining anywhere. Very nice girl even went to manager Brian regarding calamari and he was able to discount them 10%. The experience wasn't something I'd ever do again or order calamari here either, but the boil was pretty straight forward and tasted good. read more

Seafood boil here is delicious, although they are a little pricey compared to others in the Tampa area. It's the only one in our area so it makes it worth it. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. The restaurant itself is very well decorated. They also have other menu items like chicken for those that do not like seafood. read more

I got the lunch 1/2 pound boil bag with snow crabs with the special sauce. I ordered via doordash and food came hot and quickly.

Monday 2/17, tried to call twice around 530-550 pm to order by phone as I was running other errands and the calls went straight to voicemail and said they don't take voicemails. Finally, I resorted to placing an online order, able to pay online as well through Apple Pay luckily. I drove to the location which I was familiar with as it's on my way to the gym, but I grew confused as I pulled into the strip mall for Cajun Crab House looking for a Waves Crab House sign. I would have possibly assumed they were the same thing if the big red Cajun Crab House sign was on, but it was not so I automatically thought I ordered from the wrong place. (That's on me I didn't notice the flashing open sign under the name.) At that point (before I saw the open sign), I tried calling again. This time I got an answer and they explained it's the same business (and then I saw the flashing open sign). The staff was extremely professional and the person who provided me my order went through the bag to ensure it contained all the parts of my combo, offering me gloves, bibs, and wipes as well, which I accepted. There was a sign that states the staff should always review items in bag to ensure correct order, which I appreciate! Great SOP. My combo had crab, sausage, and headless shrimp. Two pieces of potato, two corn on the cob pieces. Rice was cooked to perfection (moist). We got the house seasoning (all three combined?) and mild spice. I don't love spicy and it wasn't too spicy for me. I haven't had Mr and Mrs Krab in a while so it's hard to compare the flavors I think but I feel like I always love Mr/Mrs Krab and I only liked this one. Not sure if I'm grasping at straws here but it tasted like the other crab boil bits are marinated in flavor but here it tasted like it was cooked then tossed in the seasoning. Cajun Crab House is Waves Crab House Still very good and I think it was fair for the price. I think after tip and tax I paid $42-45 and it fed two of us comfortably. Only thing is we don't have crab tools at home. Not their fault, but wish there was some kind of to go crab claw breaking tool lol. All in all, would definitely be back! read more

I decided to try this restaurant with a group of friends. When we arrived we noticed that the staff was friendly. Also, they have a lot of available seats, so we were seated right away. We tried the Combo C that includes blue crab, snow crab, sausage, shrimp, potatoes, corn and green mussels. The seasoning we tried was Cajun. The food was good overall, flavorful and satisfying, though nothing that really stood out compared to other seafood boils I've had. Service was okay -- our server was very nice and polite, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. We didn't get refills during our meal, which was a bit of a letdown considering the spice and saltiness of a seafood boil. I also noticed the prices were a bit higher than similar seafood spots in the area. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're comparing options. Would I go back? Do not order from this location. My wife and I have been coming to this location for months. Decided to enjoy a to go order for Super Bowl Sunday - girl at the front couldn't be bothered to check to make sure all items were in the bag. Got home and checked and missing a corn and potato which I paid extra for. Called on the phone and was told that I could bring it back for the actual items I ordered. Meanwhile My food is getting cold and they refused to throw in anything to compensate me for my time. Not to mention I was very generous and included a more than generous tip. Refusal to provide good customer service cost them business. Also as an aside. I had to call 4 times before anyone even bothered to pick up the phone after the order was messed up. Service was absolutely top notch and team-oriented enough to make my withered old hospitality heart happy. They were fantastic and so attentive. Ambiance is more Gulf Beaches circa 2013 than I expected to find over here. Granted, I don't think anyone knows this is technically Wimauma instead of Riverview. We were looking for a place I can eat at that fits my current strict dietary restrictions and found this place. The food was delicious and didn't contain sugar dairy or gluten or any processed junk. Ash was our server and she was very friendly and in our interactions with her made us feel welcome But that was the problem. The place was empty. We had to wait 25 mins for the food then another 20 mins for the check. Ash checked up on us one time right after we got the food and then we never saw her again. So I gave this place a second chance and again I was very disappointed with just about everything. First of all the customer service was very poor, we stood at the front entrance for 10 minutes before we were seated in a half empty restaurant. Once we were seated the waiter seemed to rush us to order as if he was irritated that he had a table. I ordered the half pound of crawfish and it only came with a single potato. Corn was extra and an additional potato was also more. Okay that's expected but you had to purchase 3 of each according to the waiter and I was unable to order one of each. So when my food arrived I received a total of 8 crawfish and my one potato. My buddy order a pound of mussels and he received a potato and small ear of corn and he gave me his. He said that his food was just okay but he asked for lemon pepper sauce but received something very spicy. He became flushed and slightly ill because he can't eat spicy foods. The waiter tried to say it was mild lemon pepper but instead of saying he made a mistake he brought out another sauce that wasn't spicy and tasted more like lemon pepper. As far as my meal I also cannot eat anything spicy so I requested my food without any sauce or seasoning and I instead elected to get just better with some ole bay seasoning on the side. We hardly saw our waiter after our food was served to us. We never found him when we needed him and when we asked for the check he disappeared for 10 minutes. I love seafood but I'm my opinion there are much better and cost efficient options in a state surrounded by oceans. A lot of people do like this place because their take out is always booming. For the table we got hush puppies and sweet potato fries and they were really good. I was there for happy hour so the drinks were cheap which I can appreciate. The restaurant is clean as well as the restrooms. They provide lots of napkins, a bib, gloves so you can eat without getting too messy. I cannot wait to come back!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: Hostess got phone order incorrectly, and then during pickup went quickly through the order...she showed very quickly that all the items were on the same bag. What we didn't see nor imagine was that yes all items were on the same bag...but inside the bag we never expected EVERYTHING TO BE MIXED UP with an Extra hot sauce all over it. (Extra Hot sauce was supposed to be only on one of the 3 items not everything) Manager was contacted and he stated that the error occurred on the pickup and not on the order placed (Obviously the root cause was during the order). Then cited a store policy that wasn't explained when placing order, when picking up, or even when paying....he mentioned that after the fact. And yes, with an "I don't care" + "Im always right" attitude... We just lost $50 on a $100 order...on our first order.
