I had gotten a quote 4 months ago for my husbands new Honda accord which had a crack in the windshield all the way up the passenger side. $800 from Safelite and mobile service was not included "due to the lane assist in the windshield and it had to be done in a controlled environment." What a scam. I started a project on Yelp and Neal got to me right away with a $325 quote and mobile service included!! Take that Scamlite! Neal completed the work in my driveway in half an hour. Found this company by doing a Google search and called and setup an appointment for the following…read moreday. Told me they were wide open and I asked for a morning appointment. Was then told that the installer would be to my house from 8am to 12 noon. Really, I have to take a half day off work to get my windshield changed? Anyway, I agreed because the price was about what I was expecting. The following day it was 11:30am before the installer showed up. He did the work quickly and after a couple hours of sitting looks like a decent job so the installer gets 4 stars (1 star off for being at the end of the appointment window). The problem I have is the person that came and did the job does not work for the company I hired. He is a subcontractor and does installs for companies that just take your order and then pay someone else to do the work. I would have never used this company had I known they were not going to do the work themselves. Also, I wrote out the check to the company I called which was M & J Auto Glass and the installer told me that wasn't the companies name. I went to their website and it shows that as their name but he was concerned about taking a check made out to another name then what hired him. He stated the companies name is Forever Auto Glass out of Surprise and I called and hired M & J Auto Glass with a Goodyear address. Even the invoice states Forever Auto Glass. I wish I had just called the installer himself and skipped the middle man.
