Amazing selection of premade (homemade) foods, as well as packaged foods. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Awesome place.

The building is in bad shape, and you can see they are working on it, but I imagine that, like everyone else, COVID changed things for them, and the improvements are slow or halted. The worst offense is probably the bathroom ceilings, and the fact that those bathrooms aren't heated. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has slipped in some cases too. The pita and toum are still THE BEST I have had around here - hands down. When I order an olive plate, I do typically expect Mediterranean style olives, but this time I got cheap pimento-stuffed Spanish olives. The stuffed grape leaves were lovely, for the most part, great flavor. But the leaves themselves were on the tough side. The fattoush was perfect. The charbroiled deboned chicken was very tender, and the flavor was nice. The grilled vegetables were quite nice. I think our server was new/er. We had to repeat ourselves pretty frequently, and ask for basic things like silverware and napkins. She seemed confused a lot and like she wasn't terribly familiar with the menu. She was, however, friendly and accommodating.

They even remembered me from when I stopped by before. Today I was on a mission. I needed baba ganouj and I needed grape leaves. Now when I arrived and saw the little store portion I got some fig bread, garlic pita chips, pistachio candies, and pita bread. I could have bought more. Given more time I would have. I got everything to go and made conversation at the counter. Service was super fast. I just finished eating and my tummy is happy. The grape leaves had meat in them. I've only seen that option in Michigan. At least not in Nevada or South Carolina. It adds an extra layer of flavor and the meat was spiced beautifully. I think it's lamb. It's been about 30 years since I've had grape leaves with meat in them. Nothing beats Michigan Lebanese food. Vegas doesn't even come close. The baba ganouj was creamy and flavorful. I have been craving good Lebanese food for so long. I am so happy right now. I ended up spreading the baba ganouj on the soft pita and it was the perfect pairing with the grape leaves. Sadly I ate and forgot to take photos. Trust it was lovely though. The fig bread I got looks like rugelach, but I was assured it isn't sweet. I think this will be wonderful for breakfast. I was assured it was very good. Thanks Beirut Restaurant!

I have the lentil soup today and I was disappointed because I expected actual beans but it was all ground up like with no chunks it was just really smooth like baby food. It was tasty just the texture threw me. I also got the lamb and beef gyro. Way too much tzatziki and the meat was cold. I've been here before and it was good so I was pretty disappointed today. Generally it's a good place to eat there's lots of seating and lots of parking and there's other things to look at and shop for while you're there but the food was just so-so esp for the price.

Website Request,…read more Dear Magdy, I am a regular customer at your store on Corunna Road and truly appreciate the quality of your halal meats, international imports, and your B. Haleeb dairy products. I'm writing today because I would love to see your business grow even further, and I think a dedicated website would be a great next step. The physical ambiance is really aesthetic. The store is massive and it I has everything you could look for. In fact, you guys are the only place my father recommends for authentic sesame oil. Many customers in the Flint area look for specialty Egyptian and international groceries online before they visit. A website would make it much easier for us to see your latest inventory, check store hours, and even place advance orders for pickup. I would personally recommend using Shopify or WooCommerce. These are globally recognized leaders in e-commerce that are very user-friendly and would give you full control over your store's digital identity. Please do NOT use Wix as they are Israeli. I believe a digital storefront would bring in many new customers who are searching for the unique products only Sindbad Foods Market provides. Thank you for all you do for our community! Best regards, A loyal customer out of state.
