I had a mani pedi with my daughter in law... on a Saturday afternoon by Saturday night my thumb had peeled back... by Sunday afternoon my other thumb started to bubble so I had to clip and peel the gel. I went back in the following Saturday for repair... by Sunday morning two different nails bubbled and peeled... super bummed... will not go there again and will not recommend. I went to get a Mani and Pedi with my best friend and she got a french tip painted on her nails. Two days later, we saw each other and her nails were so chipped, one of them didn't even have polish on it anymore! The lady rushed doing my pedi and it hurt. All in all, they rushed EVERYTHING!!!! Lyn did my nails today and always does great! but I added on a pedicure today, and it was terrible. the guy took less than 5 minutes to clean up my toes, the filing started to hurt because he was going so fast, the paint job is sloppy, and the top coat wasn't even given enough time to cure. now they don't even look shiny, they look dull and matte. I pay good money for quality work, and I have been a customer of Saigon for 5 years. I am just frustrated with the lack of attention and the fact that he tried to rush the pedicure. read more

This place used to be the best in town but that's is no longer the case by a long shot. I got a full set of acrylics about a week and a half ago, planning to get fills. The guy who did them had headphones in and was watching a movie on his phone while he did them. He filed them into a coffin shape until my fingers were literally bleeding and drilled my nails until they were paper thin before adding acrylic. Then when the acrylics were "done" they were super thick and misshapen and he just left them. I had to ask him to clean up my cuticles after he completely skipped it. After 6 days the acrylics were lifting up from my nail beds. I went back today to get them removed (assuming I had just gotten a bad tech) hoping they would acknowledge how bad they were, which didn't happen. Rather than properly removing them, a different male technician slid a fake nail tip under them to literally rip/pry the acrylics off my nails. In the process he split my nail in half (pictured) and proceeded to drill my already thin nails even more. Then I got a gel manicure and he did a quick bad job on that too and charged me $64 for the whole thing. Again, this used to be one of the best places in town so I feel bad saying this, but definitely try another place instead. read more

Be warned that this place does not have good cleaning or hospitality practices. I've been in twice and won't ever go back. Each time, the manicure lasted about 25 minutes and cost $55. The guy doing my nails used dirty and heavily used tools on my fingers (then put them back dirty) and hung back up the towel he wiped my cuticles on. No cuticle oil used and nothing special except a 30-second hand massage done with dirty hands and nails. If it wasn't for all the above, I probably wouldn't post, but after a week of them chipping and not looking good, I removed them and found wet polish. The light he was using was very used and old and clearly doesn't work properly. Overall, it is not safe or friendly, and I can not recommend this place at all. read more

My nails are chipped and pealing because she didn't take her time on cuticle care nor did she clean up the excess polish. I paid 51.00 + a 10.00 tip only for half of them to be chipping off. I've been going to Saigon Nails for years. I have told more than one person that they are the best nail place in town. Sadly, that is no longer the case. The man who worked on me today was impatient, rude and handled me very roughly. I have arthritis in my knees (which is obvious if you look at them). I can't twist and turn my knees easily. He kept twisting them around and huffing impatiently when my feet weren't where he wanted them. I'm also not sure if he had allergies or if he was sick. He kept sniffing and rubbing his nose on his sleeve. After I paid and left the shop, I burst into tears in my car. I will never go back there. Oh, my feet and nails look good so far. I'll add more if the pedicure ends up being as sub par as the customer service. read more

Updated review: I came here almost a year ago and had a bad experience with acrylics. They looked terrible, but they fixed them the next day. Today I decided to try them again and was cut very badly. I understand that accidents happen, and the nail tech was very apologetic, but it was too bad to continue with the manicure. I just asked that they put clear polish on my other nails instead of the color I picked originally because I didn't want my one bare nail to stand out too much. They did the clear polish and still charged me $40 for the manicure. That's the part that was upsetting, I shouldn't have paid at all when I was cut so badly that we couldn't continue. I went to Saigon to get a fill for my acrylic nails that I had gotten done out of state on a trip. My nails were horrible until Tam at Saigon worked on them. He completely corrected the shape and thickness of them, and i walked out with nails prettier than I could've imagined! Tam was the friendliest nail tech I've ever had in my life, and he encouraged me to speak up if I wasn't happy with what I was seeing (which I didn't have to do because he did so good!) i was taken care of by Tina, this is probably one of the most weird experiences I've had at a nail salon, she was very distracted by her phone and was texting during my appointment, she went too far with the electric drill/filer on my nails and also took a piece of skin from my finger while cutting my cuticles. she got tired of blotting my cut and dipped my bloody cuticle in the dip powder. I have been going to Saigon Nails for about 9 months to a year. The last 3 times have not been satisfactory. I usually like the women to do my nails. The men were not doing a great job. However, I was have been rushed out and the job on my pedicure was incomplete. I ask for certain things to be done regarding the shape and cuticles and they do not listen to what I want. I feel the personal attention to what the client wants is ignored. Rush you out and collect the money and the tip. I am done with going back to Saigon Nails. read more

I was only in town for a few weeks and desperately needed a gel nail fill and pedi. I called an hour and a half prior to closing and they said they could get me in. I arrived and they knew me by name. My technician, Jessica, was nothing less than amazing. The place was full, and a bridal party arrived shortly after I, which the accomodated as well which shocked me. Jessica, was not only professional, but kind, funny, outgoing, smart, and sooooo GREAT at her job and technique. She was fast, but took her time to address every last detail on my hands and feet. My leg massage was out of this world. Jessica even took the time to correct my crooked gel nail from my normal nail tech and salon back home. She should be in charge! I did not enjoy this place. I went there once to get my nails done, a beautiful silver chrome color, coffin shaped nails. First, they did not put them on properly. Parts of my cuticle were exposed. Second, since they weren't pressed down properly, I ended up getting a nasty green spot under my nail. I'm a working mother of 5, so I do dishes, clean, and deal with dirt constantly. Some bacteria got underneath the nail and caused a green spot to form. I had to go to another salon and have them fix it and it took quite a long time for my nail to grow and the spot to disappear. Also, when they were snapping my nails they gave me cuts on my fingers so badly. They were red and bleeding. Well...I don't recommend unless you have 3 hours for a pedicure and a regular full set of acrylic nail. They can't or won't do both at the same time. Ken, one of the employees is very rude, he doesn't listen and thinks he knows everything. He is not interested in the customers needs or wants and just wants to do things his way. It is uber expensive on top of the BB poor service. There was nothing special about the service. I used regular polish. The total was $90 without to. They charge for every little thing. If you want a different shape it's $5 dollars, if you want what is usually the "standard top coat" on your toes another $5 dollars. Moral of story ....if you're rich, have unlimited time and don't mind guys with terrible attitudes then this may work for you read more

My first visit was okay. A few days later I called to ask if they could fix two of my really curved nails And they said they would. I came in to get them fixed and they refused to fix it. (They were very rude about all of it.) And told me to come back the next day. I came in the next day(today), just to have them tell me they wouldn't fix it. Noted I have to drive an hour there and home. He proceeded to tell me it was my fault they were curved. He said "it's your fault". I'm very confused as how it's my fault he made my nails curved and told me to come in TWICE to tell me they won't fix them. They will also go and talk about you to other workers.
