The guy Gavin, I will give him a Viking name, Gavin the Strong, he was great. Gavin the Strong actually jumped into the water and *PUSHED the boat* down to the end of the dock entrance since one of our party was having problems getting out of the boat onto the dock. Yes, it's completely accessible and the parking lot at the marina has plenty of room. An unusual "birdcage" light stands atop the two story building with a focal height of 50 feet. Most other lighthouses were "modernized" but this one avoided that fate as it was due to be decommissioned at the time. A local purchased it from the government and it has since been restored. Owner asked if we can cancel Airbnb deal and pay him directly And for some reason directly is more expensive for ~ $140.00 ( taxes etc he said ) so total was $700.00 Unfortunately water in river stays high for weeks in November 2021 so decided to reschedule for next year and just keep $700 as a credit. This year contacted the owner and dates we wanted were booked ( actually available on Airbnb ) and he offered refund . Received the check for $200!!!! Owner states that is the policy and other bs.so basically lost $500 and ton of time. I've been using places in Pulaski for over 10 years and they all much much cheaper and client friendly.

That's right, the whole blessed world! There are lots of companies you can charter with but after two trips out with Bill Saiff I am now a loyal customer. My family goes out once a year and Bill hires expert guides to find the hot spots in the harbor. The time of year plays a huge role in what you are able to catch and they always know what is hitting. They also have the best gear to monitor the waters and find your record catch. I have seen a 30 pound lake trout and a 36 inch pike get landed (I caught that one!) on my trips. Bill's communication is also outstanding. He will text you before your trip if there are any changes in terms of weather and also returns messages quickly. Bill even brings snacks on the boat. If you are hungry after your fishing adventure he has a restaurant with a decent menu. The company offers Canadian Goose hunting trips as well. Be prepared to arrive early and spend a healthy sum but I assure you Bill Saiff and his knowledgeable mates will provide you a first rate fishing experience. See you on the Harbor!

Bill definitely knew what he was doing and made the day enjoyable for newbies and experienced fishermen alike. I was scared. Like super scared and thought I was going to die. Mind you, these were my thoughts on…read morethe car ride up, not my thoughts on the actual trip. We had an amazing time. We had a group of 8 and were the only ones on the river at that time of that particular day. Dylan was our guide and he was fantastic! He made sure we were safe, but that we had the times of our lives. It was a sunny, warm summer day. But not too warm that the water felt warm. We did some swimming next to the boat, some jumping off, some cliff jumping a little over halfway into the trip(which lasted about 5 hours total), stopped for a snack of juice and cookies then had an amazing dinner at the end! They even had a meal ready for my vegetarian kid! They even have a photographer taking your picture from the sides as you're going down and the price for the pictures at the end was super reasonable! I can't say enough how great it was. I recommend them to everyone who asks where they should go.
