That's right, the whole blessed world! There are lots of companies you can charter with but after two trips out with Bill Saiff I am now a loyal customer. My family goes out once a year and Bill hires expert guides to find the hot spots in the harbor. The time of year plays a huge role in what you are able to catch and they always know what is hitting. They also have the best gear to monitor the waters and find your record catch. I have seen a 30 pound lake trout and a 36 inch pike get landed (I caught that one!) on my trips. Bill's communication is also outstanding. He will text you before your trip if there are any changes in terms of weather and also returns messages quickly. Bill even brings snacks on the boat. If you are hungry after your fishing adventure he has a restaurant with a decent menu. The company offers Canadian Goose hunting trips as well. Be prepared to arrive early and spend a healthy sum but I assure you Bill Saiff and his knowledgeable mates will provide you a first rate fishing experience. See you on the Harbor!

Bill definitely knew what he was doing and made the day enjoyable for newbies and experienced fishermen alike. As an add-on, Bill took some good photos that made the fish look huge and us look... like we knew what we were doing (?). Like all great captains, he threw in a few funny stories when it got slow. And he shared his celery sticks with me and whistled a lot. Good guy, great service, couldn't have asked for a better charter trip. Perfect day.

We didn't give up and tried again for Friday - fortunately for us, that we did. My husband and son tried their Learn and Ride package - to be on the safe side. They had provided a very detailed intro about the jet ski and helped ensure safety measures. My hubby and son had a great time for the 2 hours session in the morning. We loved it so much and booked for 2 hr in the afternoon as well. This time with a different brand of Jet Ski in their fleet (Yamaha) - they had a blast. I was very pleased that we found this business and love their services. The jet skis were very new and a lot of fun. They are prompt, friendly and a lot of fun! Before each set of rapids, we were given clear instructions on what to do if you ended up in the river, and there were several kayakers around the river for support (but we didn't need them).You'll get a chance to swim through some smaller rapids at the end, plus they provide snacks and a beer on the last leg. Then when I talked about what I was looking for, in regards to getting my bike tuned up, I felt like I was being talked down to the entire time. Gross. I don't mind paying high for good service but in this case - the service was definitely not customer friendly and definitely not worth how much I paid. I paid for the service hoping that when I returned that the customer service would change - nope! I guess they can get away with this being the ONLY bike shop like this in town. However, I will make the hour drive to Syracuse the next time my bike needs a tune up - that's how bad their customer service is. Go to Melo Velo bike shop in Syracuse! I called them right after I had this terrible experience and they were excellent over the phone! (I did not tell them about my shitty customer service experience)
