Visiting family and we decided to drop by for beers. As usual, my husband ordered Octoberfest, but I decided to try the Neutral seltzer (cranberry). I also tasted the watermelon flavor and these were both refreshing! We were having such a great time, that we decided to order late lunch. Pizza was delicious and hit the spot! Service is excellent, and fun to watch football and laugh out loud!

Big fan of Sailfish when we're in town. We used to like visiting their first location but the upgraded space is super nice with plenty of seating both indoor and out. They seem to always have the same brews on tap with a couple rotating in/out but there's always something good to choose from. They also offer a wide variety of food that will make everyone in your party happy, and they even offer some fun games to play while you're there!

Beautiful patio with several long picnic tables near the river downtown. The Hazy is perfection on this 80 degree day!

Great brewery! Staff were helpful and very nice. Giving 4 out 5 because it did take a minute to have someone come see us / get menu's. Both me and my friend had a flight of various beer/ciders. My favorite was the blackberry cider! Decently priced. They also serve food but I didn't order any since we just had lunch before. Great spot!! Check it out

Whenever you're in downtown Fort Pierce, Sailfish is a must. They have really good quality beers, and aside from that they back it up with a really good selection of some good foods. They're know for their pizza, but I've had a few other items and they're all really solid! The atmosphere is always great, and the service is really top-notch. The staff cares and always makes you feel at home. Check this spot out for sure; a fav for me in South FL.

I've been coming every Tuesday since March as I am participating in the Sail Fish running club, and what do you know the finish line after each 5K rewards with beer. Tell me about a better reward, I'll wait. For starters the brewery is always clean and not very packed on the days I go, plus the stuff is super friendly. So far their selection of beers have all been good, and my all time favorite has to be the Tag & Release. Can't go wrong with that one, but their other taps are good too, haven't come across one that I haven't liked. As for the food, i've had something different since I started coming over. Every dish pictured has been cooked to perfection, but my favorite has to be the portobello wrap, it's so refreshing and light after a good run. I've seen how the pizzas are made her and I cannot wait to try it. Sail Fish is definitely a staple of Ft Pierce and i definitely recommend that you come here for a good drink or a hot plate, and each day they host something different.

My husband and I stopped in Sailfish with our dog for a Monday lunch. It wasn't crowded, with tables available both inside and outside. The nautical decor was accented with tons of fun Oktoberfest flags! They have a wide beer selection, with pale ales and ambers for me, and IPAs for my husband. We ordered the local smoked fish dip and house made buffalo chicken dip. Both were delicious, but we could not get enough of the spicy buffalo!!! We were only in Ft.Pierce as a lunch stop on our road trip, but I would love to come back here to try more of their menu.

Since we enjoy breweries as well as trivia, we decided to check out Hop Life brewery, and we're not disappointed. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed two flights of beer which included at least six different selections. We enjoyed almost all of them. A nice variety of flavors, colors and styles. I then switched to a full pint of the one I liked the best which happened to be the Calypso Bay. This beer is a fairly hoppy imperial beer with noticeable citrus notes . It has high ABV as well. I found it to be excellent. The menu seemed to include many diverse choices. From what I observed most of the food looked really good. Since we were really not that hungry, we decided to go with a margarita flatbread. A really good choice I definitely would recommend it. As for the trivia, it was well run, and competitive. We enjoyed it immensely. As luck would have it, we finished in first place! The only downside to this was that we were awarded a $50 gift card and advised we could not use it that day. We explained that we were in town temporarily and did not live in Florida. After some discussion with the bartender who consulted with her manager. They allowed us to use $25 of the $50. I would've preferred to be able to use the entire gift card that day since we are not sure when we would be returning. We were told that the card did not expire. It would've been nice if they made that exception for us. The overall experience, quality of the beer, food selection, and the trivia were excellent. We will not hold the incident regarding the gift card against them and will definitely be back the next time we are in Port St. Lucie.

The venue is a good size, they have inside and outside seating. I sat at the bar. There are 4 TVs for sporting events, board games, and a Juke Box, winning! It has some really cool decor and I like that the Brewing area has a window. What gives this brewery character is the subtle decorations. There is a green hop light mobile on the way to the restrooms. And check out the men's and women's doors, quite unique. And love the tap handles. The BEER: Nut House Coffee milk porter 5.5% ABV... glad I tried this first, it was slightly sweet with a creamy mouth feel and quite good Zero VIZ Florida IPA 6% ABV... a little dank and fruity slightly hazy and really good, I got citrus and maybe orange rind Ankona blonde ale 5.6% ABV... wow, imagine pineapple bread, but the liquid kind. Sounds weird, but this one is hitting on all cylinders Calypso Bay DIPA 10% ABV... super piney, really high IBUs, I tasted the Hop Bay west coast IPA 7% ABV and could only taste a slight difference, between the 2, not really my flavor profile, but good Paranoia Belgian Tripel 10% ABV... not too boozy for a Tripel, but with all those clove notes with a hint of pear...LUV this ONE!!! Not sure when the next time I will be down this way, but Hop Life is definitely worth more visits.

I have been regularly visiting the Square Grouper Tiki Bar in Fort Pierce for 3 years. From the…read moredoor staff to the managers, this establishment is top notch! It is run so well. They ALL speak to everybody whether they know you by name or not. No cell phones are allowed by the bar staff behind the bar is probably one of my favorite rules. The scenery is breathtaking, from the water you can see the boats come and go in and out from the jetty. There is Derecktor Shipyard located at the end so there are many impressive boats coming in and out for repairs. And the sunsets are amazing! Food is great and plentiful. Prices are VERY reasonable. I like the fact that they don't charge a service fee for anything. Heaters and roll down windows are used when necessary. Watching patrons playing the ring-toss game is fun (some of the locals are very competitive). The bar staff is GREAT! A MUST stop for visitors in the area. The nightly music (except on Sundays) and their weekend day music is exceptional. The only very minor complaint I have is the employee uniforms. Black shirts do not go well in the dead of summer with no breeze. The girls need some sort of a hat to cover their heads in the middle of the windy winter days, also, a heavier hoodie. Those thin ones just don't cut it.

Upon arrival, we were questioned about the dogs in a way that felt inappropriate. I was asked whether they were service animals, and when I confirmed that one was, I was further questioned about my medical condition, which made me extremely uncomfortable. We were eventually allowed in. I was unaware of the dog policy and was not informed that dogs were not allowed, these people don't even allow children I later saw (not family friendly). I rejoined my parents and we sat at a table off to the side, away from other guests, as we are always mindful that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. I ordered drinks and food at the bar, then stepped away briefly to use the restroom. The bartender (Olivia) was dismissive and made me wait a long time to order, not very inviting. When I returned, a manager approached our table in an aggressive and confrontational manner and insisted that we leave, claiming the dogs were barking. This was not accurate, neither of the dogs barked. We were shocked by the way the situation was handled, especially because there was no attempt to speak to us calmly or respectfully. It was a bit savage, something we aren't used to. When I asked what we should do since we had already ordered, I was rudely told the food would be packed up and brought outside. I went to the bar to cancel the order instead and asked for the manager's name, but the bartender refused to provide it. The manager then came to the bar and confronted me in a rude and dismissive tone. When I tried to calmly address the issue, he became even more confrontational and started to laugh, extremely unprofessional and disrespectful - trying to instigate the situation even more. I told him I would not lower myself to his level of communication and that the situation lacked basic customer service. After that, his behavior became even more aggressive. As we prepared to leave, the manager stood by the entrance watching us in a way to try to intimidate us, then followed closely behind us as we exited. Again, I was with my elderly parents, no respect and again, savage low-class behavior. The situation could have been handled with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. Instead, we were made to feel embarrassed, unwelcome, and intimidated. I did research on this restaurant and found that a blind veteran and his service dog were attacked and there was a big lawsuit just 2 years prior. The door guy attacked and injured one of our veterans, blind, over a service dog policy is disturbing. I hope that whoever reads this, decides not to come to this establishment, there are several reviews of how rude the workers are and it's unacceptable that the owner allows ratchid behavior. It can be pretty frustrating, especially if you're visiting for the first time and end up driving around in circles trying to find it. Once you arrive, though, it's worth the effort. The restaurant is located right on the water next to the boat ramp and has an enormous amount of parking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full bar area. The outdoor seating is especially nice since it's completely covered on the deck but with all of the bushes and plant surrounding the deck, you're not really getting much of a view. This visit, we opted to sit at the bar and were lucky enough to snag three seats together. Our bartender was awesome and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. They don't serve liquor here, only beer and wine, so I ordered a rosé. The bartender recommended a cute little $16 bottle that came in its own mini bucket. It was adorable and paired perfectly with my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Ahi tuna with broccoli and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband, however, definitely won the meal competition with the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and mashed potatoes. I stole a bite, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor and texture were outstanding, and I'll absolutely be ordering that next time. One of the funniest parts of the visit was the bartender's T-shirt featuring Anthony Bourdain flipping you off on the back. They were selling them, and I couldn't resist buying one. I'm pretty excited to wear it. Overall, we always enjoy coming here. Great waterfront atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and plenty of parking make it a place we'll continue to visit.

As it was a Friday night, they had some live music which caught my attention, so I popped in to have a look. As the name implies, they serve Wine and Craft beers, I'm not much of a beer guy, so most of my review will be about the wine side of things. I grabbed a seat at the smallish bar and ha look at the offerings - the wine selection was definitely not the usual suspects (a pet peeve) and after a few minutes I was sort of not sure of what I wanted. The young lady working the bar stepped in and asked me what I like- I explained my usual taste profile - medto heavy body and on the spicier side of things and she recommended a Pinot Noir, which would I not have normally thought of - she merely said "you have to try this". She was right on the money with that recommendation. The wine was fabulous and the music was going on so I sat back and had a look around: cozy place with a good number of tables scattered around - I would think this is more of a date place or a night out with good friends. Definitely not a beer and shot vibe here. The beer side of the house is definitely a decent choice as well - if you like beer. They have 20-some beers available on tap or canned. Like the wine, they can walk you into a perfect choice if you can describe what you like. A couple came up to where I was sitting and ordered a charcuterie board, so I had a look at the small sampling of nosh items. I was considering the same charcuterie board but it turned out to be larger than expected when they finished making it for the folks that ordered it so I went for a smaller bite. The food offerings are all centered on meats / cheeses / pretzels and some desserts. They do not have full on entrees- so plan accordingly. All in all, a great spot- I have been living here for 3.5 years and yet, this place had escaped my attention. Not anymore! Definitely will put it into the rotation. Parking lot available
