Tommy Boy and All meat pizza.

After bailing from AIB in Vero beach we headed back to Fort Pierce to Sailfish Brewing. We were seated immediately and waiter greeted us right away. Ordered a couple of their beers, two pizzas and three garden salads. Pizzas came out hot and were delicious although Balsamic drizzle was a little heavy and a touch sweet. The all meat pizza was terrific. Salads were fresh and quite sizable for being their small garden salads. Sailfish saved the day after a frustrating disappointing attempt to at AIB in Vero.

Beautiful patio with several long picnic tables near the river downtown. The Hazy is perfection on this 80 degree day!

Great brewery! Staff were helpful and very nice. Giving 4 out 5 because it did take a minute to have someone come see us / get menu's. Both me and my friend had a flight of various beer/ciders. My favorite was the blackberry cider! Decently priced. They also serve food but I didn't order any since we just had lunch before. Great spot!! Check it out

Whenever you're in downtown Fort Pierce, Sailfish is a must. They have really good quality beers, and aside from that they back it up with a really good selection of some good foods. They're know for their pizza, but I've had a few other items and they're all really solid! The atmosphere is always great, and the service is really top-notch. The staff cares and always makes you feel at home. Check this spot out for sure; a fav for me in South FL.

I've been coming every Tuesday since March as I am participating in the Sail Fish running club, and what do you know the finish line after each 5K rewards with beer. Tell me about a better reward, I'll wait. For starters the brewery is always clean and not very packed on the days I go, plus the stuff is super friendly. So far their selection of beers have all been good, and my all time favorite has to be the Tag & Release. Can't go wrong with that one, but their other taps are good too, haven't come across one that I haven't liked. As for the food, i've had something different since I started coming over. Every dish pictured has been cooked to perfection, but my favorite has to be the portobello wrap, it's so refreshing and light after a good run. I've seen how the pizzas are made her and I cannot wait to try it. Sail Fish is definitely a staple of Ft Pierce and i definitely recommend that you come here for a good drink or a hot plate, and each day they host something different.

My husband and I stopped in Sailfish with our dog for a Monday lunch. It wasn't crowded, with tables available both inside and outside. The nautical decor was accented with tons of fun Oktoberfest flags! They have a wide beer selection, with pale ales and ambers for me, and IPAs for my husband. We ordered the local smoked fish dip and house made buffalo chicken dip. Both were delicious, but we could not get enough of the spicy buffalo!!! We were only in Ft.Pierce as a lunch stop on our road trip, but I would love to come back here to try more of their menu.

Since we enjoy breweries as well as trivia, we decided to check out Hop Life brewery, and we're not disappointed. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed two flights of beer which included at least six different selections. We enjoyed almost all of them. A nice variety of flavors, colors and styles. I then switched to a full pint of the one I liked the best which happened to be the Calypso Bay. This beer is a fairly hoppy imperial beer with noticeable citrus notes . It has high ABV as well. I found it to be excellent. The menu seemed to include many diverse choices. From what I observed most of the food looked really good. Since we were really not that hungry, we decided to go with a margarita flatbread. A really good choice I definitely would recommend it. As for the trivia, it was well run, and competitive. We enjoyed it immensely. As luck would have it, we finished in first place! The only downside to this was that we were awarded a $50 gift card and advised we could not use it that day. We explained that we were in town temporarily and did not live in Florida. After some discussion with the bartender who consulted with her manager. They allowed us to use $25 of the $50. I would've preferred to be able to use the entire gift card that day since we are not sure when we would be returning. We were told that the card did not expire. It would've been nice if they made that exception for us. The overall experience, quality of the beer, food selection, and the trivia were excellent. We will not hold the incident regarding the gift card against them and will definitely be back the next time we are in Port St. Lucie.

I really like the location. It's located on the water, technically on the inlet, next to Jetty Park. The views of the water is gorgeous - it's a deep aqua color, and I always enjoy watching boats navigate through inlets. The place has a tropical Tiki Hut vibe with palm trees and sand surrounding umbrella covered tables. There's also seating at the bar under the "Tike Hut". Service is at the bar. Instructions and a QR code (which downloads their menu) are provided on a board in front of the bar. So after a quick look at the menu I stepped up to the bar where I was greeted by a friendly employee. I ordered their Smoked Fish Dip ($14.00) and a Shiner Bock ($4.25). She brought me my bottle of Shiner Bock (no drafts at this place) along with a small electronic buzzer device that she told me to take back with me to my table, and when my order was ready it would notify me. It was practically no time after I sat down and my electronic device notified me that my order was ready. Again, service is at the bar - this time pickup was at the far end of the bar. You give the employee the electronic buzzer and the employee gives you your order. I found the Smoked Fish Dip very good. It consisted of a blend of wild caught Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Whitefish, and Whiting. It was served with freshly fried corn tortilla chips, red onions, tomatoes, and ¡alapeños. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of fried corn tortillas with any kind of smoked fish dip, and would have much preferred plain saltines instead. But no biggie. Note, there's a sign out front notifying everyone that: * 21+ for admission * No dogs * No kids * No babies (No kidding) I'm not sure of the reasoning behind these rules, but it's important to know before arriving with the family and your favorite 4 legged fur baby. The location, the food, and the friendly atmosphere gets 4 stars from me.

This time, we came to celebrate my friend's birthday dinner. Our server was as sweet as could be, and the entertainer, Curtis, absolutely made the night. He was so interactive with us, took song requests, and we were joking throughout the night. We requested a couple of songs, and he did an amazing job. The bartender also made us some fun shots that added to the celebration. Unfortunately, my food experience wasn't nearly as enjoyable. I had spent the day at a friend's event where there was plenty of food, including Vicky's (which is always delicious). By the time I met everyone for dinner about an hour and a half later--after stopping at Boston's for a drink--I really wasn't very hungry. I specifically asked for a small salad with meatballs because I just wanted something light. Instead, a large salad was brought to the table. I immediately mentioned it to our server, explaining that I had ordered the small salad because I wouldn't be able to finish a large one. She said she would adjust it. About 15 minutes later, the meatballs arrived, and they were almost impossible to eat. They were so tough that I couldn't even cut them with my knife. At one point, I was literally pounding on one with my fork against the plate because it was hard as a rock. The waitress came over horrified of this experience and said she would remove it off the bill. I'm not here trying to get a free meal. I just want a good meal and something I actually ordered. The waitress did remove the meatballs from my bill, which I appreciated. However, I was still charged for the large salad even though I had ordered a small one and pointed out the mistake as soon as it arrived. I barely made a dent in it and ended up taking most of it home. Aside from the disappointing food and billing issue, we still managed to have a great evening thanks to Curtis. His energy, talent, and interaction completely changed the atmosphere and honestly saved the experience. If it hadn't been for him, my rating would have been much lower.

Worth growing a beard for…read more Bearded Brothers Taphouse & Eatery has officially earned a spot on our "we'll definitely be back" list. Our group of four started with what they do best: craft beer. With around 20 beers on tap, there was no shortage of choices, and they even offer complimentary tastes if you're on the fence. The Summer Shandy was crisp and refreshing, while the Toasted Lager was smooth, flavorful, and dangerously easy to drink. We sampled more than a few (ahem)... purely in the interest of scientific research, of course. Fortunately, there are still plenty left to try, so another visit is clearly required. The food was every bit as impressive. The Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze and shaved Parmesan were outstanding. Even people who normally pass on Brussels sprouts would have a hard time leaving these alone. Personally, I like them a little crispier, but these were great. The Black & Bleu double smashburger was absolutely dynamite. Two perfectly seared patties, plenty of blue cheese, crispy bacon, and cooked exactly the way a great smashburger should be. My own bearded brother ordered the shrimp po' boy, and it was packed with large, perfectly cooked shrimp. We grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just a stone's throw from New Orleans, where shrimp po' boys are practically a religion. This one passes the test. The bread was right, the shrimp were plentiful, and every bite reminded us of home. The flounder fish and chips deserves its own mention. The fish was flaky and moist, and the breading actually stayed attached to the fish instead of sliding off with the first bite, which anyone who appreciates good fried seafood knows is the mark of a properly prepared fillet. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Great beer selection. Excellent food. Friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. If you're anywhere near Fort Pierce and enjoy quality craft beer paired with food that easily exceeds typical pub fare, Bearded Brothers should be on your list. We'll be back... partly to work our way through the remaining taps, and partly because we're still thinking about that shrimp po' boy. Highly recommended.

Literally instead of a hello We had already been told this by the hostess as she seated us and considering they've got it on the menu as well as at the table in big letters, I'm assuming this is a problem for most people. It is for me. I will usually tip even at lunch 25% for good service but when the management is forcing me to pay 18%, whether the service is good or not, then that's what I'm going to pay. Management is not doing their wait staff any favors. I took a star off for that. As far as the food, I was pleasantly surprised. I had fried green tomatoes and the fish and chips. My niece had a smash burger. She says hers was excellent. The fried green tomatoes were literally the best I've ever had. Which is saying a lot because I love this appetizer and will usually order it in any southern restaurant. The fish and chips were also good but not great. The fish was tender, and the breading was crispy and not too soggy, but it was not perfectly crispy. The french fries were lacking in flavor and chewy. But basically the food was good and the service was satisfactory but not great. But I will be back to try other items on the menu -/ if you're setting the bar for an 18% tip then that saves the customers a lot of money when they would usually do 25 to 30%. When I see this in a restaurant, it tells me that the management does not want to dip in their profits to give their employees health insurance, but depends on the customer to do it for them.

The outdoor seating is especially nice since it's completely covered on the deck but with all of the bushes and plant surrounding the deck, you're not really getting much of a view. This visit, we opted to sit at the bar and were lucky enough to snag three seats together. Our bartender was awesome and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. They don't serve liquor here, only beer and wine, so I ordered a rosé. The bartender recommended a cute little $16 bottle that came in its own mini bucket. It was adorable and paired perfectly with my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Ahi tuna with broccoli and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband, however, definitely won the meal competition with the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and mashed potatoes. I stole a bite, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor and texture were outstanding, and I'll absolutely be ordering that next time. One of the funniest parts of the visit was the bartender's T-shirt featuring Anthony Bourdain flipping you off on the back. They were selling them, and I couldn't resist buying one. I'm pretty excited to wear it. Overall, we always enjoy coming here. Great waterfront atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and plenty of parking make it a place we'll continue to visit.

I grabbed a seat at the smallish bar and ha look at the offerings - the wine selection was definitely not the usual suspects (a pet peeve) and after a few minutes I was sort of not sure of what I wanted. The young lady working the bar stepped in and asked me what I like- I explained my usual taste profile - medto heavy body and on the spicier side of things and she recommended a Pinot Noir, which would I not have normally thought of - she merely said "you have to try this". She was right on the money with that recommendation. The wine was fabulous and the music was going on so I sat back and had a look around: cozy place with a good number of tables scattered around - I would think this is more of a date place or a night out with good friends. Definitely not a beer and shot vibe here. The beer side of the house is definitely a decent choice as well - if you like beer. They have 20-some beers available on tap or canned. Like the wine, they can walk you into a perfect choice if you can describe what you like. A couple came up to where I was sitting and ordered a charcuterie board, so I had a look at the small sampling of nosh items. I was considering the same charcuterie board but it turned out to be larger than expected when they finished making it for the folks that ordered it so I went for a smaller bite. The food offerings are all centered on meats / cheeses / pretzels and some desserts. They do not have full on entrees- so plan accordingly. All in all, a great spot- I have been living here for 3.5 years and yet, this place had escaped my attention. Not anymore! Definitely will put it into the rotation. Parking lot available
