We enjoyed this brewery. My husband was very happy with his beer options. Me however, wish there were more local/Florida wine options. The order and pickup at the counter makes sense, but does get annoying if you plan to have a few drinks and have to keep excusing yourself from your group. We visit Ft Pierce 2x a year for the past 4 or 5 years. Sailfish is one of our favorite places to patronize. We love the food and refreshing beers. I was so excited when I found out they reinstated bingo (on your phone) for summer. They played 8 rounds and every round was won by regulars and 1 guy won 2x. I wish they could inhibit multiple wins. After bailing from AIB in Vero beach we headed back to Fort Pierce to Sailfish Brewing. We were seated immediately and waiter greeted us right away. Ordered a couple of their beers, two pizzas and three garden salads. Pizzas came out hot and were delicious although Balsamic drizzle was a little heavy and a touch sweet. The all meat pizza was terrific. Salads were fresh and quite sizable for being their small garden salads. Big fan of Sailfish when we're in town. We used to like visiting their first location but the upgraded space is super nice with plenty of seating both indoor and out. They seem to always have the same brews on tap with a couple rotating in/out but there's always something good to choose from. They also offer a wide variety of food that will make everyone in your party happy, and they even offer some fun games to play while you're there! read more

The place has arcade games and a dart area with sofa to lounge. The vibe is relaxed and comfortable. We saw pizzas and they looked well cooked. Service was excellent. Went last night for a special tasting event. Checking was a lil slow to stand in the rain, luckily we came with an umbrella. The event was fun and nicely set up, we enjoyed. Everything was tasty! Whenever you're in downtown Fort Pierce, Sailfish is a must. They have really good quality beers, and aside from that they back it up with a really good selection of some good foods. They're know for their pizza, but I've had a few other items and they're all really solid! The atmosphere is always great, and the service is really top-notch. I've been coming every Tuesday since March as I am participating in the Sail Fish running club, and what do you know the finish line after each 5K rewards with beer. Tell me about a better reward, I'll wait. For starters the brewery is always clean and not very packed on the days I go, plus the stuff is super friendly. So far their selection of beers have all been good, and my all time favorite has to be the Tag & Release. Can't go wrong with that one, but their other taps are good too, haven't come across one that I haven't liked. As for the food, i've had something different since I started coming over. Every dish pictured has been cooked to perfection, but my favorite has to be the portobello wrap, it's so refreshing and light after a good run. I've seen how the pizzas are made her and I cannot wait to try it. Sail Fish is definitely a staple of Ft Pierce and i definitely recommend that you come here for a good drink or a hot plate, and each day they host something different. read more

My husband and I stopped in Sailfish with our dog for a Monday lunch. It wasn't crowded, with tables available both inside and outside. The nautical decor was accented with tons of fun Oktoberfest flags! They have a wide beer selection, with pale ales and ambers for me, and IPAs for my husband. We ordered the local smoked fish dip and house made buffalo chicken dip. Both were delicious, but we could not get enough of the spicy buffalo!!! Usually on rough windy days we dock and go over to Sailfish Brewing in Ft. Pierce. It's an easy walk and if we plan it right , we'll hit Happy Hour. Today was no different. We made it for 2 for1 drafts! And we met a new friend. Kaci our bartender for the afternoon was a delight. Quick with a cold beer; quick with a funny joke. It was great! She was like one of us. She knew exactly what to pour after we discussed our favorite beers. It was Happy Hour and we also ordered the All Meat flatbread on Kaci's recommendation. It was delicious. For a younger girl she knew exactly what she was talking about and it showed. Our bar was kept clean. The glasses were clean and cold. The best service we as a group had since we started going there 4 years ago. Kaci could hear a description of a mainstream beer and knew exactly what to pour . She was attentive and most friendly. Walked into the establishment midafternoon ordered a pint and went to the restroom. Before I could finish urinating a man walked in and very rudely told me I had to leave. I was told pay and leave , pay by the way for a beer that I never tasted. During this encounter some manager came over and asked me my name. Without any doubt I was mistaken for someone else however that could have been handled far less aggressively. I will never in my life return to this establishment. read more

I feel like I've been giving a lot of average to poor reviews lately. I guess I've been going to the wrong places. I'm not sure what to say, but its a brewery. You get what you expect, average bar food and beer. I think they had one Pilsner and everything else was an ipa or ipa/ish. I don't understand the attraction, anyway don't listen to me. read more

All the bartenders worked together and made sure everyone was taken care of. You don't see that type of teamwork generally speaking. My hubby and I aren't big beer drinkers so drunk wise it wasn't really cup of tea. We did get a mule and spiked tea. Both were good. This was unfortunately disappointing. We were walking around Ft. Pierce and decided to get some beers, soft drinks, snacks, and pizza right after lunch. The dining area didn't seem too busy, so we ordered up front. We were told that they wouldn't have pizza dough for another 1/2 hour and suggested the flatbreads. This to me was odd, so we ordered beers, sweet tea, flatbreads, and fish dip. The sweet tea was from their tap. It seems to me that 90% of the local places make their own, not sure why they don't. We sat and wait, it took 45 minutes to get the flatbread out. Which you'll see from the pictures there's nothing to this. To me it's crazy it took that long. Upon looking around while waiting for food we seem to notice one bartender taking orders, two cooks, and a runner. I don't mind waiting for food under certain circumstances but no one informed us that maybe they were short handed and the wait would be awhile. If this was mentioned we may have made different plans, especially with three hungry kids. The food and beer were actually good but timing was not. read more

Sailfish brewing was the highlight of my Brewcation. What is a Brewcation yo ask, it is a vacation dedicated to beer. And yes, this review is far overdue. We arrive late on a weekday after checking into our hotel and the place was packed. It is pretty huge, has outdoor seating, a wrap around bar, table seats, and a cozy sitting area with couch and comfy chairs. They have pizza place which is attached, but we were way too late for that. We actually arrived about two hours before closing and we took full advantage of those two hours. Tried to order a flight of everything, but we had already been brewcationing earlier and this was like the last stop for the day. They were playing like country music when we first came in, but that soon changed to island rhythms which I can honestly say paired well with beers. There were three bartenders who help us, but we had a favorite, Ricky. He was both knowledgeable about the beer and engaging. The woman in our party were especially enamored with his presence. If anybody but Ricky serves you, you haven't had the true Sailfish experience.  I wanted to pack this place up, put it in my pocket, and take it home with me.  And I kinda did, because we got 3 crowlers to go. Below are the highlights of the beers I liked. I usually give better notes, but I wasn't driving so was definitely getting all I could out of the experience. Without a doubt, Sailfish has the local, ocean-side bar hangout vibe going for them. Nestled in the heart of downtown Fort Pierce, Sailfish offers patrons some tasty beers as well as some tasty pizzas apparently -- for the record, I did not have the latter, as I had other important cat business with where to attend later. In most situations when you try a beer from a brewery that's on tap in your local restaurant, bar, etc, it's usually one of their trademark or year-round selections they make available in larger volume. Based on said beer, your experience could be happy or sad. While never being the biggest fan of Sailfish, I am a brewery traveler, and, being in Fort Pierce, would want to visit all the same -- knowing well they would have many beers available I hadn't tried yet. They have some really nice sour beers that I enjoyed and found quite refreshing. The Blackberry Bramble was probably my favorite along with Your Mom. ... The beer. The Iguana Sauce and Passing Lane Gose were additionally tasty as well. The interior decor is a cross between Miller Ale House, seaside bar, and brewery. The staff was friendly, going back and forth between patrons asking for pints and flights. Additionally, they offer cans, crowlers, and (at the time we visited) special release bottles. We had a nice visit to Sailfish before moving on to other breweries. If you're in the area, it's a good spot to stop by... I'll make sure I try the pizza next time. read more

Fun little brewery with lots of seating and plenty of beers and sours on tap. They have wine too. There is a concession stand inside that sells decent pizza and food and soft drinks. We had a few beers and a pizza and played Cards against Humanity. There are several board type games, darts, and corn hole to keep you occupied. My girlfriend and I stopped by around noon on Monday on a whim and they were open. Mondays also offer an all day happy hour which is like $1 off all drafts and something else I don't recall. Danielle (I think) was our bartender and she was very helpful and let us try a few things before deciding on the Sunrise City IPA and the White Marlin Wit. The IPA was really good and my girlfriend liked the White Marlin which was kind of like a shock top For round 2 we got the Port Fierce IPA and the Don't Poke the Bear Imperial Honey Blonde, which she said had recently won an award. My girlfriend loved that one and I actually preferred the Port Fierce IPA over the Sunrise City. They have a nice indoor/outdoor area where you can get some fresh air while in the shade. They have corn hole out there as well and are pet friendly. Inside they had dart boards, couches, a few tv's and some other board games. Overall a really cool space and we picked up some t-shirts on our way out. read more
