This was my second time visiting this establishment. The first time was a couple of years ago for brunch with a group of girlfriends. This time, we came to celebrate my friend's birthday dinner. Our server was as sweet as could be, and the entertainer, Curtis, absolutely made the night. He was so interactive with us, took song requests, and we were joking throughout the night. We requested a couple of songs, and he did an amazing job. The bartender also made us some fun shots that added to the celebration. Unfortunately, my food experience wasn't nearly as enjoyable. I had spent the day at a friend's event where there was plenty of food, including Vicky's (which is always delicious). By the time I met everyone for dinner about an hour and a half later--after stopping at Boston's for a drink--I really wasn't very hungry. I specifically asked for a small salad with meatballs because I just wanted something light. Instead, a large salad was brought to the table. I immediately mentioned it to our server, explaining that I had ordered the small salad because I wouldn't be able to finish a large one. She said she would adjust it. About 15 minutes later, the meatballs arrived, and they were almost impossible to eat. They were so tough that I couldn't even cut them with my knife. At one point, I was literally pounding on one with my fork against the plate because it was hard as a rock. The waitress came over horrified of this experience and said she would remove it off the bill. I'm not here trying to get a free meal. I just want a good meal and something I actually ordered. The waitress did remove the meatballs from my bill, which I appreciated. However, I was still charged for the large salad even though I had ordered a small one and pointed out the mistake as soon as it arrived. I barely made a dent in it and ended up taking most of it home. Aside from the disappointing food and billing issue, we still managed to have a great evening thanks to Curtis. His energy, talent, and interaction completely changed the atmosphere and honestly saved the experience. If it hadn't been for him, my rating would have been much lower. read more

From the heartfelt welcome to the carafe of filtered water and two water glasses placed right as the server greeted us our start was amazing. I was excited at the selection of draft beer chose a Mango Cart while my husband had a Long Island iced tea.... He shared that it was perfect. We skipped appetizers as we had had a late lunch . It's funny that we both leaned towards proteins and he devoured his meatloaf before I hardly saw it and my smash burger was right on point with their new steak fries. I subbed his brussels sprouts for the carrots as they're one of my favorites and he is not a veggie guy- the flavor profile was spot on, and I would order them as an appetizer in the future. It is always safe to say I'll be back over and over and have never been disappointed ! If you guys look at my reviews and don't see one for any restaurant in Fort Pierce or Vero that typically means that I had to follow my mom's advice- if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I hate to even share how awesome this was because I'd like to save it for myself. Lol the happy hour menu was amazing and the old-fashioned made for me was even better. The bartender was great and knew her menu really well. We tried several options, including the deviled eggs, pickled board, which basically was a charcuterie board and burger. I think we had a salad too, and it was all super good and they have lots of options for beer on top which we love. Parking was good at the time, but I could see how it would be a pain at times since it's all street parking and downtown. However, totally worth it and the ambience was great. I loved that the manager was there talking to his staff at the time and I just overheard how he wanted to make the place better which makes me wanna go back. Our first time at Pickled in Ft. Pierce, and wow--it did not disappoint! We started with a cocktail, their signature Whistle Pig Old Fashioned, cheekily named the "Tickle Your Pickle." As cocktail enthusiasts, we appreciated the creativity in both the name and the flavors. For appetizers, we couldn't resist trying the fried green tomatoes, which were enormous! Fried to a perfect crunch and served piping hot, they were absolutely heavenly. Appetizer #2 was the smoked salmon crostinis--generously portioned, topped with savory seasoned cream cheese and chives. These were some of the tastiest salmon bites we've ever had and could have made a meal on their own. For the entree, we went with the Real Mac Burger, a classic American cheeseburger cooked to order. I decided to enhance mine with some bacon, and it was definitely worth it. The burger was hot, juicy, and downright life-altering. Every bite was pure deliciousness. Since Pickled is also a bourbon bar, I had to try one more cocktail: a whiskey sour. While it was enjoyable, it felt a bit hastily made--just bourbon and sour mix over ice--missing that touch of freshly squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup that makes a great whiskey sour shine. But hey, it was still a solid drink, and we look forward to coming back soon to explore their vast bourbon selection and the brunch menu. Wow. What can I say except stay away. I went in today, 7-15-2026, at about 3pm. I came into a relatively empty establishment. It was me and a woman who came in shortly before me, and six employees that I could see. I sat at the bar looking forward to the advertised "craft draft" while exploring Bourbon, my absolute kryptonite. After five minutes, the " bartender" came over like it was an inconvenience to interrupt her conversation and asked what I wanted. I asked for a menu and was presented with multiple water stained, wrinkled " menues". Five minutes later she came back and asked what I wanted to drink.( 10 minutes dry at a bar at this point, in an empty bar). I asked what "Craft Draft" they had to pair with my bourbon. (Craft Draft is on their website and wrinkled and stained menues). The " Craft Draft" available was Ultra and Modelo. When I questioned this I was told " Don't get mad". Seriously? First off, do not advertise stuff you do not have. Second, don't tell your patrons how to react to when being lied to by you. Third, don't expect me to visit your establishment again. I feel lucky leaving before your rude, inattentive staff was inconvenienced into actually doing their job and charging me any money. I will also be reporting your dishonest business to InKind, and have you removed from their service. read more

It's unfortunate that I feel compelled to write this, as I typically don't leave negative reviews. I strongly believe in supporting small businesses and want to see them succeed. However, our recent experience on Mother's Day was unacceptable and left us with no alternative but to speak out. We made a reservation and arrived expecting a pleasant brunch, especially since this was once a spot we frequented and genuinely enjoyed under previous management. What we encountered instead was disorganized, unprofessional, and frankly, disappointing on every level. To begin, our drink order was incorrect--not a major issue, but a sign of what was to come. The brunch menu was extremely limited (only five options), and by the time we ordered, only three were available due to the kitchen running out of ingredients. No pancakes, no omelets--hardly what one would call a brunch menu. I ordered an iced coffee that contained actual coffee grounds. I ended up choking on it, which was both unpleasant . Even worse, my girlfriend slipped on the wet floor while heading to the restroom. Rather than offering assistance, the owner began taking photos of the area--presumably to protect himself legally--and later denied the incident entirely as if they didn't believe her! We even told them a staff member asked if I was over. Still covered it up with a witness at hand . Our child ordered a burger, which arrived with a burnt bun and an overcooked patty. At that point, the experience had gone from disappointing to absurd. We asked to speak to the manager, and both the owner and hostess came over. The hostess did most of the talking--oddly defensive and unprofessional--and it became clear there was some sort of personal relationship between them. When I expressed concern about the limited menu and lack of kitchen preparedness, the owner claimed to be unaware of the issue and blamed it on an "unexpected rush." It was Mother's Day--how could that possibly be unexpected? I told him, candidly, that he didn't appear suited for restaurant ownership. Instead of addressing our concerns, the hostess asked me not to "attack him," and they both walked away without offering any apology or resolution. Before leaving, we spoke to another table who confirmed similar experiences and shared that the original owners had moved on, leaving the current owner--formerly a silent partner--running things. The difference in quality is glaring. This restaurant used to be a local gem with creativity, good food, and a family-friendly atmosphere. It is now unrecognizable. We canceled our food, paid for our drinks, and left--disappointed, frustrated, and honestly saddened by what this place has become. read more

Met up with a friend and we were looking for a brunch spot, so this fit the bill. We were the first to arrive but by the time we left, they had seated quite a few patrons. The ambiance is very cute; there is ample seating, nice bathrooms, and friendly service. Parking is limited to street parking nearby so that is another consideration to make, however... the weakest link here unfortunately was the food. While my friend green tomato eggs Benedict looked impressive, the egg was overcooked, the fried green tomato didn't taste like much and there was barely any hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were forgettable. My friend enjoyed her short rib but also didn't care for the rest of the dish, and her bacon was undercooked. I have had good and bad experiences here. For brunch it was a good experience as the kitchen was able to accommodate my gluten free allergy and whipped up some delicious gluten free french toast. Three times we have dined here for dinner and had great experiences. However, the last two dinners were disappointingly and honestly disgusting. We had wanted to have dinner before the theater show and a couple drinks. Our first drinks took 18 minutes to make it to our table. The manager came over to apologize for the wait which was cordial, however, disappointing for that too. My friend ordered the lamb and I had ordered the sea bass. Presentation looked great until I took a bite and the whole fish was frozen in the middle and raw. I reluctantly waved the manager over again to let him know. He did apologize again stating they weren't aware it was a theater show and they were not prepared for the crowd. He did take the sea bass off our tab and went and grabbed a pre-made appetizer to give me a tuna. I felt bad like I was taking somebody else's food item they had ordered. But I didn't really suffice as a dinner. But at that point, we had no more time or we were going to miss our show and we also wanted another drink. Our wait staff did not come back and I had to flag down the manager to ask for our bill and paid with him. No second round of drinks. I felt very sad about the whole experience and even more sad I could not leave a good review and only as many stars as I did, because the manager tried. We stopped by for lunch recently, and the most overwhelming and impactful reaction we had was: "Wow, it is super loud in here". We couldn't even have a conversation between us from each side of the booth it was so loud. Part of it is the people that were there, the other part of it is the lack of sound deadening. There are hard walls, hard ceilings, and hard surfaces everywhere else, so the sound just bounces everywhere. That alone made it an unenjoyable experience. But then our food took 50 minutes to come out (a burger and a short rib disk), so that meant we had to sit in that level of sound for that long as well. The place was only half full, so is that just standard operating procedure? The food wasn't bad, the burger and short rib were quite tasty, actually. But the whole overall experience just wasn't pleasant. We received no apologies or compensation for the extra time or grief. If you walk in and it's empty, then I would recommend you eat there, because the food was good. If the place looks half full or more, you might want to make sure you have ear plugs and an hour of extra time. read more

We kinda stopped in by accident! It was so very good. Bottomless mimosa for me (grapefruit!) Wayne enjoyed Bloody Mary. We started with deviled eggs - with maple Cajun bacon. Then I enjoyed way too much of the French toast with OMG bourbon caramel sauce and syrup. Wayne had short rib hash - his only suggestion for improving is to not deep fry the potatoes. We went to Pickled on a Friday prior to a show in downtown Ft. Pierce. Initially service was spotty at nest. After finally placing our order, we never saw our waitress for over an hour. Finally we gave up and left cash for our drinks and left. We felt terrible for the people at an adjacent table who were going to a show at 7:30. After 2 hours, they left without being served as the show was starting. We mentioned the problem to the manager as we left and he walked away ignoring us. Pickled has held a special spot in my significant other's and I's heart for quite sometime now. We discovered this place about a year ago while visiting Fort Pierce and we fell in love! The restaurant itself is so cute and welcoming and the staff is absolutely amazing. We had the same server both times and she has been nothing less than a joy! The food now is what keeps us coming back! The truffle fries are absolutely delicious, especially if you are a fry person and want to try something new! The steak has always been great, the only comment is that we asked for medium and got done, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. The appetizers really get you in! The fried green tomatoes are fried to perfection and the aioli served with them is delicious! The Burratta was remarkable as well! Finally the craft beers on tap!! This place is super cute, with warm decor while still being trendy. The food was good, but not yet great. We were a party of 10. Of those 5 had the crab bisque, and the flavor was amazing, however 3 of the 5 said it could have been a little thicker. Personally, I liked the consistency. My husband had the mussels, they were super generous in size and fresh. However, I felt that the wine sauce didn't have flavors developed like garlic, wine, salt etc. I added some salt, but it still didn't do the trick, so it was a little lack luster. I had the scallops, and I NEVER Complain about pricing, but 3 scallops for $28 dollars seemed excessive. I thought I had read it was 10 scallops on the menu, but the people in my group said the number I saw was the size of the scallops. With that said, the scallops were seared to perfection!! They was awesome. Now as for the asparagus, it was over cooked for me, as I prefer a little crispier and not as wilted, but that's just my preference. Two other people on my party had the same and we were split on the asparagus. However, all three agreed that the corn was super sweet. I think they may have added sugar to it, because there's no way corn can be that sweet. Last thing, if you go here, I can only say I hope you've had your Covid shot, because NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE is wearing a mask. Not the bartender, the waitresses, runners, cooks, chef, dishwasher, etc. the place is ample enough where you won't feel like you're in top of each other, but the staff gets super close to your face when you're ordering or they are handing your goods. We had a reservation for six for 6 o'clock and had previously been in this place and had a great experience. However, when we went in this evening, everything we wanted to order was out and what we did order tasted freezer burnt or just burnt. Our waitress said when I had my Smashburger that they knew it was burnt so my question was. why serve it to me... The fish and chips were so chewy which from being freezer burnt the two people that ordered it ended up spending 30 minutes picking the fish out of their teeth. They unfortunately had to send customers away because they were out of everything so we basically were the only customers in the restaurant. I'm not sure what happened, but I would never step foot in there again as the quality and quantity of food has gone downhill tremendously... I will say our waitress was very cordial, and I knew she was embarrassed to even serve anything... It's unfortunate as there's no way this place can succeed with what we experience tonight. In addition when we sent three of our meals back, we asked to talk to the manager and no one came to our table to apologize or say anything... We were in town to see Tesla at the Sunrise Theater and based on other reviews on Yelp, we decided to have drinks and dinner here. We were not disappointed! My husband had the Bourbon Bacon Grilled Chicken, wow! It was a delicious blend of flavors with tender chicken. It came with collards and cheese grits, both were amazing. I opted for the half portion Roasted Beef and Goat Cheese salad with a side of collards. The salad was a generous portion, and everything I love! It was so delicious that I didn't even use the dressing. The collards were also fantastic, and I'm a southerner so my expectations are rarely met or exceeded. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is like being surrounded by history, with black and white pictures, rustic decor and super tall ceiling with exposed beams. Been living in Fort Pierce for years. We eat here periodically. Today the service was horrible and really did not improve. The person that greeted us was great. (Bartender, he even "joked" the food was good but the service was terrible. I wonder if he was telling me something.) It was all downhill after the greeting. Waitress had too much going on so we were ignored. We had difficulty ordering second round of drinks. I finally had to go ask if she ordered them because we were almost through with the meal. Food was mediocre at best. We had difficulty getting our check and difficulty paying. it took forever. Typically we tip 30%+, even bad service gets a 15% tip. This was a 0% tip. Nobody cared. The owner was sitting there and frankly didn't care. Won't be returning there and are advising people there are much better restaurants right in the area. read more

One of the best places for great food, drinks and a good chill time in all the Treasure Coast! The Burgers, Mac and Cheese, Grits, and Ribeye, are hands down the best I have had. My go to is the Burger with a "Tickle Me Pickle" old fashion. The cooks put a lot of Love in to each dish! I have been to some "fancy" restaurants in and around Fort Pierce and PSL, and they cannot touch this place. Is 5 star with a chill vibe! The live entertainment was so loud we could not talk at dinner without yelling. The food took an hour to come out. Of our party of 8, no one had a meal they were satisfied with. From overcooked to undercooked or just plain cold the food was very disappointing. When the entertainment was over the gentleman singing had the audacity to come over to our table and get nasty to us because we asked them to turn his volume down. The manager came over at the end of our meal to try to soothe things over. He said they were "going through a transition." If you are charging premium prices for subpar food, you will continue to lose customers. We will not be returning. read more

Me and my boyfriend were regulars of this place. Hadn't been there in a few months and decided to revisit our favorite date night spot. We were seated and sad to see almost all of our favorite items had been removed from the menu. The wait staff was sweet as always. We received our food and drinks with everything tasting great. However the next morning we woke up to food poisoning. Very disappointed to realize that it was because of this place. Sadly we will not be returning. The staff is always great and friendly but after learning about the change in ownership and seeing how empty it was we quickly learned why. We are still getting over the illness two days later.
