Usually a great place to dine and have fun, but I don't recommend going for Thanksgiving. $40 per plate with Turkey, stuffinf/dressing, mashed potatoes and a veggie... sounds great, right? Well the kitchen didn't give us dressing and gave us only a child, infant child, portion of mashed potatoes, and very little gravy. The waitress didn't come back so we grabbed a waiter to ask about the stuffing/dressing. He acted like he didn't know what we were asking about... really funny... finally he understood what we were saying and then 5 minutes later a gentleman comes out with two helpings of stuffing. We told the waitress what happened and she said you're the fifth table they forgot to give the stuffing to. There was a waiter vacuuming next to us it was simply chaos!! We decided to try having Thanksgiving dinner out this year at Sailor's Return. There were 5 of us and we all ordered the Turkey dinner. It was Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and cranberry sauce. Turkey was dry and cut in chunks, not sliced. Vegetables were so hard and not cooked. (Waitress said they always cook their veggies al dente). Stuffing had no taste other than pepper and the cranberry sauce, after my face went into contortions, I gracefully discarded into a napkin. It was so sour. I looked around and saw several people leaving their veggies on the plate. I wonder if they look at what is left on the plates and why someone wouldn't make an adjustment. Spacious restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent food, great service, plentiful menu, situated on the water near the bridge. The hostess was welcoming and gracious, even though we brought our 10-pound dog. We enjoyed our meal so much more than Conchy Joe's, which denied us service because we had our dog. It's more upscale than Joe's and more comfortable. It has become our go-to restaurant for the reasons mentioned above. They completely screwed up! We had a terribly awful experience. First off, we had a 7:30 pm reservation, but despite our reservation, we still had to wait for 45 minutes to be seated, at 8:15 pm. There were four of us. We each ordered salads and entrees. Our salads were served promptly, but after that, we had to wait 1 & 1/2 hours for our entrees. We were very hungry. Our server asked the manager to speak with us. The manager did apologize and said that they were slammed. I will not even bother to mention what each of us ordered, but I will say that my steak came undercooked and had to be sent back. Yes, we did have desserts and at that time, I even said to myself, while I was having my dessert, that if they only comp one dessert, that would be unbelievably lame. Well, guess what?! They did not even compensate so much as one dessert! Not even a cup of coffee. Shame on them! This restaurant is the "epitome of unprofessionalism!" Also, since we had waited 45 minutes to be seated and 1&1/2 hours for our food, we were the last people in the restaurant and they were already cleaning up and vacuuming the restaurant while we were still eating. I went to Sailor's Return with a group from work. Nice atmosphere but the food no. I had crab cakes and what a joke. The crab cakes were 99% shredded chicken, no exaggeration, with a couple of morsels of white meat which was either crab or imitation crab just so they can say they were crab cakes. Terrible! It was a real insult to customers for them to think they are actually getting away with this garbage. Don't bother going to a place where they think nothing of their customers. read more

I'm so sorry but the margaritas are really really bad. Maybe the worst I've had in my entire life. The food is ok. But it's really expensive. And I felt like I could have made it better at home for a fraction of the cost. I was really disappointed. It's a cute place though. And the service was great. I really enjoyed this place, I ordered the pistachio crusted salmon with wasabi mashed potatoes the first time and it came out amazing. We also ordered the escargot which I loved. So there yelp reviews are pretty accurate really nice ambience, amazing views they have plenty of staff and free valet parking. Customer service is great don't get me wrong it's definitely not lacking in that department very clean restaurant my only problem was the food. I ordered the chicken milanese which was a little dry and didn't seem seasoned just had no flavor to say the least. It also came with risotto which wasn't that bad. This place could be absolutely amazing if the food was just seasoned. They have the amazing views, ambience and along with there great customer service this place has the potential to be five stars. Came here with a friend on Saturday night. You definitely need a reservation if you're planning on getting a table on the weekends! Friend and I ordered an appetizer, salad, and an entree. When it came out, the salad and entree was split on two plates. We thought "wow, this place is awesome" for doing that. Then we got the bill and they charged a dollar for splitting the salad and $4 for splitting the entree. Huge eye roll. Would have given this place five stars for the ambiance and food, but their nickel and dime-ing for everything (ie $1.50 for blue cheese stuffed olives) is out of hand. read more

This restaurant is positively beautiful! It is located right on the water, looking over the marina. There are plenty of boats to watch and look out at. The hostess was very pleasant and accommodating for our very large group. We were seated outside on a perfect Florida day! There is fans, misting water, located outside. This was appreciated for the people that were overly hot from sitting in the sun. We came to eat during happy hour, so were given the limited bar menu. This was fine with everyone since we only wanted a small lunch. The happy hour drink specials are only available if you're sitting at the bar. I ordered a house made sangria, which was delicious and refreshing. Our waitress was attentive and perfect at keeping all of our drinks filled. For lunch, I ordered the grilled mahi caesar salad. The mahi was grilled to perfection, with so much flavor. It was exactly what I wanted. Others ordered the cheeseburgers. These are huge! They can easily be split between two people. They also looked incredible. We ordered conch fritters as an appetizer for the table. They were very crispy, but not over done! The dipping sauce was very tasty, with a little kick to it. Come here for the view and drinks, not the atmosphere. I have to say, they are very well located, right on the dock with a beautiful view of the river and dreamy yachts. The other day me my father and sister and our dog peterpan went here for lunch, our first time going here! The view is beautiful, they allow dogs and were very friendly to ours and even brought him water in a doggie bowl, the food was good, but the lunch menu was small.. not sure if it was limited due to covid or not tho. For appetizers we ordered the eggplant stack which was very good, we also got the fish dip which came with some celery carrots crackers and crackers with a everything seasoning that were flaky and delicious! For lunches, my sister got a chicken Cesar salad which she said was awesome, my father got burger which he ate all of, and I ordered the Mahi-mahi fish sandwich which was good , and I got a side house salad wich was light and fresh.
