This is definitely my favorite dive bar in Tucson! They have a wide variety and selection and are pretty quick and make for great conversations when they have time. You are allowed to bring in or order your own food as they provide just alcohol. They have an outdoor area aswell that can be heated when need be. The bar definitely feels like something from a 90s movie great vibe!

Where the local bartenders go to drink! Best in town! Icons - Founder Churchhill (RIP) & wife Elizabeth, Exsul John, Kalkbrenner Jack, Interloper Olivia, Kirsten and soup chef Louyi. Opened in south Tucson (south barrio Barbara Rosa) where no other businesses like them exist. Dive, dark with an outdoor venue patio haven. Rare metal / indie shows. This bar took a chance opening in far south Tucson and we all love & support them dearly always.

Sour recommendation from the bartender. Super delicious.

Stopped in for a bloody mary on a Saturday around noon. Barely anyone was there, but we loved the vibe. The bartender, Tina, was a total sweetheart and made us feel at home. We stayed for another drink because we didn't want to leave. The only thing I wish I could change was that it was closer to my home.

These super sweet long wood tables

The steel and woodwork alone make me a fan, the industrial feel of the raw and reclaimed wood amazingly done. The tables must be made from old telephone poles so so so cool. Just off south 4th in the beautiful downtown of South Tucson, 1 mile square, this place is not expected. Friday there were 6 bands outside, a guy making these amazing fish taco's on a picnic table. The guttural and completely visceral feel of the space made me feel like I was a friends house, rather than in a bar.

One of the top 10 Bloody Mary's in AZ!

Great vibe. Chill bartenders. Pool table. And a secret backyard area that has lots of funky art and intrigue.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Burk, the handsome man with a shiny head, was at the bar. He handed us a drink menu that contained fun drink names like Death of a Unicorn. The drinks tasted good and had a lovely presentation. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. I look forward to seeing where this place goes. It has a ton of potential for special events with the basement area. P.s. It's also a boutique hotel. You could always book a room and enjoy dreams downstairs without having to drive

Once my husband and I arrived, at 7 o'clock on a Friday a couple weeks ago, we were sat immediately. I ordered a Horchata, I found their take on it, refreshing and unique. The pistachio coconut rim was so different, but good! I ordered the chef board appetizer ,which comes out looking like a work of art. I believe there were four different cheeses/spreads, and multiple arrays of fruits and sides. I loved it! My husband liked his pork belly appetizer too. Our meals were both phenomenal, with my husband, choosing the salmon dish and I had the chicken piccata dish. Fries taste fresh and had the perfect crisp tothem., well, though I didn't expect the olives with my entree, they really helped him make the dish! Even the leftover was amazing. My only complaint from this visit was the $14 curry I ordered which was severely lacking. I love curry and order it often at different places. This one could've used more flavor, and I really wish it would've had more than just potatoes in it. I definitely took it home to work on it. This place is pretty pricey , and boosts are very small menu, but they did have some nightly specials to also order from. It's extremely small with only six tables maybe, but there is a covered and enclosed patio as well!

We've eaten a lot of food and had a lot of cocktails over the years and honestly this is one of the greatest meals we had. Though it's small the atmosphere was fun and yet still felt private. However that didn't stop us from pushing our table together with the couple next to us even though we didn't know them....we couldn't ignore each other's oooing and ahhhing about the food and so we decided to join tables and order every single dessert to share! So not only do we have a great meal , but we made new friends! The service was fantastic. We wanted to go back for a special occasion but unfortunately they had to unexpectedly close for the evening. However they let us know about the issue and we're looking forward to going back another time.

Old pews as "booth" seating and several rooms throughout the establishment. It's dark, it gives off old vibes but not in a creepy, musty way despite the place being a former mortuary. It feels intimate, almost cinematic. You're not walking into a bright sports bar; you're stepping into a moody, low-lit cocktail lounge built for conversation and slow evenings. The space has character: exposed wood beams, a long bar lined with bottles, soft pools of light over booths, and a relaxed, unhurried energy. It feels tucked away, which adds to the appeal. And while the lighting sets the mood, the drinks are what make it worth staying. Well-crafted, balanced, and clearly made by bartenders who take pride in their work. Strong without being sloppy. Creative without trying too hard. If you appreciate a dim, intimate setting and serious cocktails, The Owl Club delivers. It's the kind of place you settle into -- and don't rush out of.
