The staff and locals were very friendly, offering up advise on local beers and how well they pair with food. Though it was still 100 degrees at 8pm, being able to sit outside, enjoy a nice beer and have a subtle breeze going, was heavenly to the experience. The bartender was very nice. She seemed to be the perfect bartender for this type of establishment that appeared to have an array of regulars. I went to the bingo on Thursday which was fun. They have it on Thursday and Sundays. The only issue was the music was a little too loud or the mc's mic wasn't on loud enough to hear. That's how I found Louie's Cantina, and I'm so glad I did. We have two cars now, but I still make the Thursday drive every single week to celebrate the end of my work week since I'm off Friday and Saturday. There is just something about ending the week with a cold beer and a Mexican Candy shot with bartender Vinnie that makes life a little better. I can't say enough good things about this place. Louie, the owner, comes in from time to time, and you always know when he arrives because you hear his voice as he walks in. He says hello to everyone, is genuinely friendly, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his bar. And the Mexican Candy shots? So good. They come in all kinds of delicious flavors, and I still can't decide whether I like cucumber or mango better. I especially love that mine comes in a little snifter glass so I can sip it along with my beer. Speaking of beer, it is always cold, which matters! Vinnie is one of those bartenders who can talk about just about anything, from food to music, and he is just an all-around great person. The music is good, and they also have an AMI digital jukebox, so you can play songs right from the app, which makes it even more fun.
