The on 30+on tap isn't there and the coolers are limited, but I like the changes! It's now a full bar and a smaller scale cooler selection (which still seemed to be a good selection). The bartender was very nice. She seemed to be the perfect bartender for this type of establishment that appeared to have an array of regulars. I went to the bingo on Thursday which was fun. They have it on Thursday and Sundays. The only issue was the music was a little too loud or the mc's mic wasn't on loud enough to hear. We were originally 3 out of the 5 people in the bar (one bartender and one other dude who may or may not have worked there- but kept going into the back room). The only way there would be any sound other than our voices was to pay money to play music ourselves and I dropped way too much money to keep it going while we were there. Next, the bartender was odd to us...In some weirdly pretentious way. To be fair, we all do look young and people tend to treat us as such when we go out. However, he was so condescending about everything. I asked for a drink and he corrected me on how to order it-but not in a helpful way? More like he was annoyed with me. I turned 21 almost 15 years ago. I order the same drinks and have never been told that a bartender doesn't understand what I'm asking for- even if I don't use the proper bartending terminology. My roommate asked for a vodka redbull and the bartender made some weird comment about this not being one of our "hipster bars" like ??? I drink vodka red bulls in literal biker bars. We prefer smaller, low-key bars. It was such a strange and judgmental thing to say. He basically talked to US as if we thought we were too good for that place? Idk it's really hard to explain. But it left a horrible taste in our mouths. A couple came in a while before we left and seemed to be friends of the bartender- which somehow made the vibe even more uncomfortable. It's as if they all wanted us to leave. It's so weird to make your literal ONLY paying patrons feel so awkward and unwelcome. Dude needs a serious attitude adjustment. The a-hole bartender theme is out dated. That's just bad business. It's one thing to be busy and short with people when you're serving a full bar; that's usually expected, but you don't have to be a jerk to the only three people in the place lol.

Louie's Cantina has become one of my favorite weekly traditions…read more Once upon a time, my boyfriend and I only had one car, so I had an hour and a half to kill before it was time to pick him up. That's how I found Louie's Cantina, and I'm so glad I did. We have two cars now, but I still make the Thursday drive every single week to celebrate the end of my work week since I'm off Friday and Saturday. There is just something about ending the week with a cold beer and a Mexican Candy shot with bartender Vinnie that makes life a little better. I can't say enough good things about this place. Louie, the owner, comes in from time to time, and you always know when he arrives because you hear his voice as he walks in. He says hello to everyone, is genuinely friendly, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his bar. And the Mexican Candy shots? So good. They come in all kinds of delicious flavors, and I still can't decide whether I like cucumber or mango better. I especially love that mine comes in a little snifter glass so I can sip it along with my beer. Speaking of beer, it is always cold, which matters! Vinnie is one of those bartenders who can talk about just about anything, from food to music, and he is just an all-around great person. The music is good, and they also have an AMI digital jukebox, so you can play songs right from the app, which makes it even more fun. Louie's Cantina is friendly, welcoming, and just a great place to unwind. What started as a way to kill time turned into one of my favorite spots of the week.

They had a small selection of craft beer in their fridge and two that were on tap (In addition to a hard seltzer). While initially worried, I had no problem finding a beer to enjoy. While the selection was limited, it was very well thought out and I found a new hazy IPA to enjoy. While we did not try any on this visit, they did have a large selection of wines and I would be that they would meet your "vino" expecations. What a cool place! The quant and intimate atmosphere was definitely the highlight. The room is no bigger than a living room and that provided a chance for the bar tender to mingle and get to know the patrons. Personally, it was a refreshing look when compared to other bars around town. Go here because you want a "different" experience. If you are looking for walls of beer and taps, TV's on the wall, or food trucks... this isn't the spot (although there is always a time and place for that!). What they lack in volume & selection they make up for in thought & care. I'll be back for sure.
