Washcloth at the bathroom sink I could have done at home. I did get a kick out of the gazebo in the parking lot where staff and patients went to smoke. I was lucky to have an assertive daughter who attended family meetings and confronted some of their issues. The patient refrigerator ran at 54° F, sad for patients using it for their special items like Lactaid milk. A kind young CNA felt sorry for me and let me keep food in a staff refrigerator. I liked the PT and OT professionals, and the fellow who ran the kitchen did his best with what I can only conclude were limited resources. My friends still jokingly refer to this place as The Resort. Great neighborhood, short walk to Lake Park and decent restaurants, so I survived.
