There are always those landlords that are just not gonna give your money back or do everything they can to try and stick you with a huge bill. If you've rented more than once, you've lived this. Now I surely didn't like the price I was paying in Castlerock, Colorado but what choice have lol with that being said this every time I had an issue I always dealt with the same person. Four years of dealing with the same person and I actually had his personal number. I never waited more than a couple hours for him to make contact after an issue which we because living somewhere for four years you're going to. Anyway, he literally told me when it came to our deposit that they're not in the business of taking peoples money, he that's your money and we make sure you get it all back. That being said we did miss a couple spots of cleaning but they split the cost with us??? I mean seriously what a good experience. If we come back to Colorado, which is where we raised our kids, this will be the first people we call to find our rental! It's just a fact. Josh, If you look at most of the issues that were had at this residence you would see that it wasn't the HOW or the Community. Susan didn't give us the correct mailbox number when we had first moved in. We had to find it on our own. We were told by the handy man that you informed him to tape the refrigerator drawer back together. You are unable to walk out onto the front balcony without shoes, if you do you will come back with some sort of splinter. We were told by Phil that the electric bill runs around $80.00 per month. Very untrue. Winter time they run around $250.00, summer is not much better. The amount that we have cleaned in this unit was unacceptable. The grease, dirt, and filth was everywhere. Sinks are rusting out. The carpet has sticky parts and crunchy parts to it, depending on where you walk. Cloudy windows and doors that are uncleanable. The subfloor that is deteriorating in the kitchen. The Master bath tub that creeks while you are showering These things listed above have nothing to do with the HOA. These were all issues that needed to be addressed by the owner of the unit. read more

After Josh told me the owner of the property selected me as the candidate to move into her home, Josh called to have me fill out my background check and credit report. I have no crimes and have great credit and never received a call back from Josh even after I tried Calling him twice and leaving him a message. I don't understand why all of a sudden he just stopped responding to me. Even if I did have something negative come up, the least he could do is call me to let me know. Saint Property Management is completely unprofessional. I lived in one of the units that they manage in the west wash park area and he and his team were terrible! Josh refused to give his maintenance guy a key and demanded that I provide my own lock box for the unit or be home for maintenance calls or else he would not send anyone over. The ancient man who does his maintenance would always leave HUGE messes of trash near whatever he was 'fixing'. Most of the time he would have to make two to three trips because he couldn't actually fix what needed to be fixed. I therefore fixed all of the problems that I had with the unit myself, if I could and only resorted to communicating with them if I could not figure it out. There were also several wasp nests on the patio. I initially moved in when I was pregnant and didn't notice the wasps until about a week into my lease. Although Josh did initially come himself with a can of spray and spray them, I communicated with him several times after that letting him know that the problem persisted and he told me to spray for them myself. I explained how I was allergic to wasps and told me to be careful. When I lost the one and only mail key (as a landlord he should have a spare, duh!) Josh told me that I needed to figure out how to fix the situation. After two weeks without mail, I finally had a friend come and change out the lock. I also had a shelf fall out of the wall of my bedroom (completely on its own) and so I bought a entirely new shelving kit (which was WAY better than the original one) and replaced it myself because I didn't want to deal with the ridiculous maintenance guy. Josh then deducted $120 out of my deposit because of the holes on the wall where the shelf fell out and tried to pretend that he was doing me a favor because he though that he should have charged more. And finally, the heat was out in my unit for almost three weeks this winter. I had a newborn at the time who became ill because it was so cold in the unit. I had to move out of my apartment for two weeks because Josh insisted that it was normal for the apartment to be less than 60 degrees in the winter. I finally threatened to call the authorities on him and low and behold the next day he had someone come fix it. If you do EVER do business with Saint Property Management, DOCUMENT everything. read more
