But here is where things get a bit strange. When I was rinsing out the vase, I noticed two stickers on the bottom. One said Mervyn's $39.99 and the other said Goodwill $8.99. Mervyn's closed many years ago so today's retail value of the vase would be much more. Who knows how it ended up at Goodwill and then made its way to Jory's. I don't have an issue with recycling from thrift stores. I do it myself. What was very odd to me was Jory's did not take a minute or two to remove the stickers. Very tacky. This would have been a five-star review if the flowers had arrived on time and in a vase that did not show its thrift store origins.
