They said yes, they will be doing something for New Year's Day when I asked what, they only had a vague idea. Both times I asked, they said, go the website. So I go the website (3 times now) and there is no info. It is New Years Day and still nothing on the website and nobody answers the phone. Again, I'd really like to support local business. I would usually have my readings with Chris Hernandez who's no longer there. I went in and looked at some crystals and books and decided to get a reading while I was there. I can't remember the name of the lady that did it, older lady that was sitting in front. The lady who books the appointments advised me to book a reading with someone else on line, but the other older lady decided she'd do my reading. Worst ever. She was kind, but I actually had acute, palpable things going on and she picked up on nothing . I really miss Chris. The store has a nice vibe and crystals but be careful if you want a reading. I've been sitting on this for a while. I didn't want to be negative, but I also don't want someone to waste their money. I've had several readings here. There were several people I have worked with and they've all been good. Karina is fantastic. Christina is good. Gloria is freaking amazing and will always be my go to. But I had a reading with Carol Cook and it was awful. She assumed my kids were adolescent and I didn't correct her. She said names of who my husband was with but I didn't recognize any of them. She did something that was a little offputting. She would talk out loud saying "oh there you are, there you are. I see you. She's just a little slow, but she's coming". Or "come on, come on look at me. let me see your eyes. Let me see your eyes" Then I asked her to ask my husband something. She said oh he dropped his head. He doesn't want to talk. She then said oh he said he will come to you. He wants to tell you himself! Ummm I wouldn't be consulting a Psychic if my husband was coming directly to me. I just thought that was so ridiculous. At that point, I just said thanks for the reading and that was it. It was almost laughable. BUT don't write this place off. This review is for Chris Hernandez gave me a reading that was nothing short of amazing. I've received many readings over the years, and some from very reputable and highly regarded mediums, however no one has ever been so "on point" as Chris. I'll share some things about Chris that are good to know for anyone interested in booking a reading with her for the first time (and this was my first time): 1. She wasted no time. She asked at the very beginning, "have you had a reading before?" I said, "yes." She said okay, "great so you know how this works. Then let's get started." And off she went. 2. I'm in my early-to-mid forties, and most people my age haven't lost both parents. Within one minute, she got that my father passed away, and how old he was at the time of his passing, that he died of cancer and during the month of September. (I was silent and gave her nothing to go off of.) She got that he was in the service and that based on the info she received (not water or air signs), the branch he served wasn't Air Force, marines or navy (he was in the army). 3. Next up was my mom, who she saw as having passed away "recently." (One year ago). Chris described her as late 60s/early 70s when she passed (she had just turned 70 a couple weeks earlier) that her passing was organ-related (kidney failure), and that she saw the number four = she passed in April (yes she did). She nailed Mom's personality (funny, sarcastic, bossy) and even shared words she heard my mom say that were spot on words she would have and has said before. 4. Chris never fished for clues or leads. I've felt the need to help some mediums along in the past (probably my issue though), but Chris was pretty rapidly forthcoming with information - again all so very specific and accurate. Chris is very special and truly has full control of her talents. My reading had an element of counseling/advice/therapy to it, but at a perfectly appropriate level; and all of which was totally relevant. I can't recommend Chris enough for anyone who has experience with receiving readings, and especially the curious skeptics! read more

Really nice and airy store. I was looking for some quartz crystals and was shopping around the area and decided to drop by this store. Located in downtown Benicia, the store is located in the corner. I was greeted by Carol, the owner, she was very helpful and took down my info as I was asking for some bigger quartz pieces. Her store has a nice flow and feel and again very airy vibe. Her store has a little bit of everything from pendulums, smaller pieces of stones and crystals, little pieces of paper printed out next to the stones so you know their purpose, reiki candles, soaps, tarot decks and oracle cards. By the entrance of her door she has an intention tree and a basket where you can put down your intentions for the month where they can do a full moon drumming ceremony. As soon as I asked my first question and throughout my psychic phone reading, Glo Healing knew things that I never told her. And she put my mind at ease. She was more helpful than these things I tried for weeks so I could make a few big decisions: neurofeedback, grounding meditations (which were actually just insomnia :), sage, and palo santo. Unlike some other psychics, I liked that she: - Told me I didn't need her and gave me tools to develop my own intuition. - Didn't talk about her own personal issues though I would have been happy to listen. However, when other psychics did, I sometimes wondered if their advice was more for me or for themselves. - Seems to do it all. Some psychics only do one of the following: reading, clearing, medical intuition, rough timelines, and healing. Came in as part of the Benicia Ghost Walk tour thingy a couple weekends ago....apparently the owners are involved with that somehow.....they must be, considering we were allowed in after hours! This place has the strangest assortment of books you'll ever see....stuff like "Organic Meditiation of the Origins of Tantric Unicorn Sex" or something. Ha ha ok I'm making that up, but seriously, that's kind of what I gathered from it all. There are some pretty trinkets and some nice polished minerals; wind chimes and other decorative things. Really freaky statues of mythical creatures that gave me the willies. A spray bottle of something that claims to "rid your home of negative energy" or "cleanse your aura" or some other B.S. like that (basically it's just lavender essential oils in a 1-oz spritz bottle for like $12 or $15 or something -- do people really fall for that crap??)....so basically some normal and/or pretty things mixed in with some really whacked-out spacey stuff. Ok, nothing against the new-agey "metaphysical" thing, but it just kind of smells like a scam to me. But whatever-- to each his own I guess....if it makes you happy, I suppose that's all that matters. read more

We found a variety of treasures from candles to itty bitty stones to crystal cages. I went to go see Aisha for a reading and she read me thoroughly like book all from me asking ONE question. I had so many questions to ask her all at once and she instructed me to ONLY ask one. The only question I asked was if I should move. After she answered the question, she then started giving me the answers I so desperately wanted to get answered from this session--without me having to ask. I was so shocked, Aisha is so good at her craft. I walked in today to see if they had any Sage bundles. Before I could make it to the front counter the woman at the front desk looks up and asks me to put on gloves before I shop. She wasn't wearing her mask! It was hanging off one ear while she talked on the phone. I put on gloves but when she came over with her mask still hanging around her ears I left. What a joke. My gloves won't do anyone any good while you blabber on the phone without your mask on! Insult to injury that the Sage sticks were a bit overpriced and not that great looking. Such a bummer because I've always really liked this place. I wish that I had asked the wonderful woman who took care of me today her name. This is a lovely store to buy that special Hippy in your life a gift, or to find the right sort of positive affirmation cards. There are books, home scents, jewelry and quite a lot more! The prices were very fair, which I appreciated. I bought myself a nice affirming key chain and my friend bought a gift for somebody in her life (who isn't a Hippy, so there are regular gifts, too). The proprietor has information on all the craftspeople with products featured there. It's nice to know who you are supporting. A really nice touch is that there is coffee and water on hand to enjoy while you browse. And, if you live in Benicia, there is a lot of information for community events. The only possible way that this store could improve is to add a little bit more inventory. I would have enjoyed seeing body oils (there were plenty of essential oils) or more clothes (there were a few cute zip up patchwork jackets). read more

She told us that the spirit of our mother was not coming through very strong, and that we could reschedule for another time. The store itself is small, clean, and the staff was friendly enough. Once you enter the place, it almost instantly makes you feel so welcomed. They have several spiritual books, arts, and they even have classes/meetings. What inspired myself and my buddy Susan to enter this place were their crystals, incense, art work, and some Feng Shui items. Come to find out, it held an even greater meaning.
