Everything is really highly curated in the store. It's very fun to walk around, but everything is really expensive. I wanted to get a pair of post earrings and I couldn't find anything for under $100. The service is OK not the friendliest but they're all right. They have a great selection of items. It's a good place to go if you're looking for a unique gift. it's just so expensive or maybe I'm just poor! We got lucky with parking right out in front. It doesn't open until 1030 so be aware of that. read more

I'll start by saying great little Knick knack gift store. Very cute stuff for babies, women, men, home decor. I've been here twice and both times it's been completely empty. Each time I've walked in the staff at the front desk doesn't say a word to me upon walking in. Which I find odd since the shop is empty, I'd expect a greeting of some sort. I will say I do end up getting stopped mid way through my time shopping to ask if I need any help (which I appreciate) but feels odd since it's usually at least 10+ minutes of being in the store and walking right past the staff. I came in both times to check out the baby section (very cute back part of the store). The baby clothes are way overpriced and marked up from online prices. I love bamboo pjs for my little guy and know they can be costly online ($30-$38). The same brands I am familiar with are sold here for at least $40-50 ($50 for a baby footie, insane!!). Both times I have left and just decided it's better for me to purchase baby clothes directly through the retailer versus through this shop. read more

I have always loved this place for its unique selection of fun and local gifts for different occasions. But today they went above and beyond... I came in looking for a little something extra to stick in 13 year-old party favor cups. I settled upon first initial letter stickers. Wish is probably the most aesthetically pleasing store I've been to. When I walked in, my eyes were pleased with the organized and colorful layout throughout the store. I've been following Wish on Instagram for quite some time, but had never gone in. I'm so glad I did as there is a variety of different products for all occasions. There is a range of children's clothes, beautiful handbags, jewelery, East Bay themed clothing items, and clothes for women to name a few. I spent about 20 minutes in the store as I had somewhere to go afterwards, but I could've spent more than an hour looking at everything. I felt that it's a well curated boutique and if you're ever looking for unique gifts I would recommend to come here. Wish also does complimentary gift wrapping and has a range of different tissue paper and bows to put on their already cute bags! Overall I appreciated the products offered here and the kindness from both ladies who run this store. I will definitely come back to support this wonderful women-owned business. read more

I hesitate to write this but as a cautionary tale for other shoppers...I was in the shop yesterday (shop is darling, well merchandised and staff are friendly) and purchased a pillow with the saying Welcome Home. All in the pillow was $70.00 and we purchased it as a gift. This morning walked into ACE hardware in Alamo and the exact pillow from same mfg was $34.95! This was not on sale but the regular price. I totally get that a small shop needs to charge more because their buying power is not as great as a large chain but twice as much!! Hands down, the CUTEST store I have ever seen in my entire life. They deserve the title to Best Gift Shop in the East Bay, but honestly I'd say they're the best in the entire Bay Area. I just stopped in today for the first time and spotted so many great pieces that would be perfect for every special person in my life. I was searching for a birthday gift and hoped I'd find something with two labradors on it and guess what...THEY HAD IT!! Ladies behind the counter were so nice and even gift wrapped for me! I love that they are secluded from the mall and craziness in downtown. They have everything and more you could think of for gifts. The space has different rooms curated to a certain theme (babies, newlyweds, bbq lovers, jewelry, pets, etc.). They are actually pretty reasonable with their price points too. I'm so impressed with Wish! I placed on order online during Black Friday. A few hours later, they called to personally thank me for my order and asked if I would like it gift wrapped. The next morning, my order was beautiful gift-wrapped and at my front door. It arrived in less than 24 hours from when I ordered it!!! (I'm local, so this makes a difference, but still!) Also, I only bought 2 small items that totaled less than $40. It's nice to know they offer such great service even with small orders. Amazing customer service on the busiest weekend for stores. Incredibly darling family owned ( woman run) woot woot business in WC. It's right off the freeway exiting mt diablo. They have tons of fun items for absolutely anyone! Jewelry, pillows, babies, bridal. The list goes on. Bottom line, you need a cute gift or housewarming or whatever head to Wish. I'm certain you will leave with an adorable bag full of goodies. I adore this little shop! Located off the beaten path of Mt Diablo blvd as if heading toward Lafayette, you take a left onto Boulevard way, and then the first right onto Blvd cir. It is then located on your left side snugged between several salons and antique like stores. It isn't necessarily where I would expect a little shop like this to reside, but hey, I like how its semi hidden. I came here shortly after they opened a few months back, and even though they didnt have nearly as much cute things as they do now, I totally fell for the charm and appeal the shop projected, as well as a majority of the cute things they withheld. I ended up getting a really cute picture from a local artist that I absolutely LOVE! I came in here again recently and my, have they expanded the place into an even more- fun filled place full of home decor goods, as well as a nice majority of baby and kiddo gifts. Some of their items can be a little pricey, however, a lot of the items are really unique treasures that you most likely would not find in a standard gift shop. The store is cute, but from the moment I walked in the shop an older lady who worked there followed us around the store. I had my three kids with me, so I'm unsure if she thought they were going to cause a problem or what was happening. My mom and I had them right next to us and we were watching their every move. It was the most uncomfortable shopping experience I've ever had. I asked the gal at the register about it and she just shrugged it off saying it was a coincidence but she went into every nook and cranny of the store with us and corrected my child before I even could when he went to look at a bracelet and then sternly told my 68 year old mother that we needed to move out of the way so that another customer could walk through a pathway. My mon was just walking through the same pathway to look at an item to purchase. It was bizarre and I will not be going back. I'd be careful going in the store if you have children, even though it is partially a child's boutique. Weird. read more
