I have not been tattooed by this shop yet, but I don't think I have ever had a more positive first encounter than I did today. I do have 12 tattoos from maybe 7 different artists, so I'm familiar with the process. I wish all shops treated their clients/potential clients the way I was treated. Very, very friendly, open and welcoming! I was not made to feel like I was a nuisance or insane because I had questions. I walked in hoping to speak with the artist Jami Owen and she took great care to listen to what I was looking for, even though she was consulting with a past client. She was very respectful and transparent and made me feel very comfortable. I strongly feel the way an artist talks to you on your first visit is indicative of how the tattoo process will go with them. It's only a matter of time before I book with Jami and this shop . I really liked the vibe of the shop and this artist, most visits lead me to never wanting to return, but this was such a breath of fresh air! I have been going to Mythical Markings for several years. I have been tattooed by multiple artists. My wife and daughter have also had several piercings done here. Dale and Jackie ensure a clean, fun environment is available to all who enter the shop. Them as well as the other artists under their employ put the customers need first, paying the closest attention to detail and ensuring maximum comfort. 10/10 I can't recommend Mythical Markings enough. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I recently received from your company. Given that your organization charges $150 per hour, I expected a level of professionalism, punctuality, and operational competence consistent with that rate. Unfortunately, this expectation was not met. Staff members were not prepared or present in a timely manner, resulting in unnecessary delays and a clear disregard for my time. Additionally, during a customer discussion, another employee inserted themselves into the conversation in a manner that was unprofessional and inappropriate. This interruption was neither necessary nor handled with the level of courtesy one would expect in a professional environment. Overall, the experience reflected a lack of organization, internal communication, and respect for clients. I believe it is reasonable to expect punctuality, professionalism, and proper staff conduct--especially at the rate being charged. I request that this matter be reviewed internally and that appropriate steps be taken to ensure similar situations do not occur in the future. I would also appreciate a response addressing how this issue will be resolved. read more

From the first phone call until I left happy it was a great experience. I got a tattoo from Danny! She got me in fast because Im from out of time, helped me with my idea, and even tweaked a couple of pieces for me. It is so beautiful I cried when I got back to the hotel!. I also got my nose pierced, now that hurt lol, but very clean ,professional, and everyone is soooo nice. Extremely unprofessional tattoo studio. Left a $100 deposit to get tattoo'd by Krissy "AKA" Miss Ink and was directed to send an email with the design information, which I completed same day after scheduling my tattoo appointment five weeks out. Two weeks later with three weeks remaining before my appointment, I emailed the studio in an attempt to speak with the artist and gain her opinion regarding making a small edit to my submitted design. To my surprise, I received an email from the studio receptionist that because I wanted to make changes that I would have to come in for an in person consultation; which was impossible because I was out of state. I explained my situation and offered to do the appointment via phone, FaceTime, or video chat and was told that video chat consultation was not offered so I'd have to come in for my consultation on the day I was supposed to receive my tattoo, which pushed my tattoo back nearly 3 weeks due to my schedule. On the day of my in person consultation, the tattoo artist was late due to traffic despite me being there 15 minutes early. At 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment I stepped out to make some professional calls; during which I received a call from the tattoo studio, which I obviously could not take, and no message was left. Before I even got off the phone, I receive text notification that they cancelled both my consultation and my tattoo appointment scheduled for one month out. Essentially stealing my $100 deposit. Needless to say, I did not return. Do not deal with this unprofessional shop. They will not work with you, respect you, or your time. read more

Made an appointment. Met with Waldo. He said he'd work on some sketches, and made another appointment with me. I was excited, because the tattoo work I've seen of his is excellent. I drove 1.5 hours each way to meet with him. The 2nd meeting, he forgot about, and had completed no work whatsoever to show me. He kept me waiting, then came out and said we should make another appointment. Seriously, I drove 1.5 hours each way, twice, and he just said, "I have some ideas. Make another appointment." Chris Allman worked me in between appointments same day that I called in my idea for a simple line work snake on my ankle. I brought in my idea and gave him free reign to change the design as needed and boy did he deliver. I was very pleased with his willingness to improve the art and add his own twist, the end result is a tattoo I am more than satisfied with. You get what you pay for here, how much is a quality tattoo worth to you? This was my second tattoo and I felt very comfortable during my experience. Jon Goad is the absolute best artist in the area bar none. He recently did tattoos for my girlfriend and I on the same day. Both are absolutely fantastic.
