We love this school and its teachers and staff. The school definitely emphasizes its Catholic identity, which is the primary reason why I would even consider sending my kids to a Catholic school. There are several award-winning teachers here and it shows. Quality education, family-like environment and the tuition is extremely reasonable for a private school. While they may not have the fanciest things and facilities, when I see my child's development and love for going to school, I feel reassured that I've made the right decision by sending him here. I've gotten involved with the parent community, which at first was a bit daunting but it's been a great experience getting to know them and I look forward to journeying together with them as our children all grow up here.

However, I do have to say under this new principal the school has become very business driven and has lost the old Catholic school culture. She lacks leadership and has developed an atmosphere of turning the other way when issues evolve. She's very transparent of the families and student selections that have more facilitation to support economically. The bullying situation in the school is atrocious. They have nothing set in place to have any control over the situation and only have a part-time counselor so if it's her day off and there's an issue to be addressed, good luck. Again to be fair there is a handful of good hearted teachers that work hard and care about the students but the leadership. I feel well little by little deteriorate, the quality of the school. Just speaking from the heart and God willing things will change for future generations once this leadership team is no longer there.

I met and adopted a 2nd graders that didn't have a visitor, by the end we were best buds sharing our lunch and laughs together. It doesn't matter if you are blood relatives or not you can always be a welcoming guest. So glad to be a part of this community and hope to share more great memories.

I found Corpus Christi Catholic Church unique and easy to major thoroughfares. I can hop on the loop, get off at Stella Link and church is just right there. Parking lot is easy access during the ordinary days. That's how I always find a parking space. That may well be different during holly days. I also found street parking on Cheena Drive is closer to the church entrance than the parking lot. The parishioners are very diverse and younger than other churches I've been. I learned how they greet you with palm to palm rather than shake hands. Holy water dispenser is also touchless. The church interior has high vaulted ceiling and it is clean and smells fresh. The choir is always a big plus during its service. They have several outdoor speakers to broadcast the beautiful sounds to the outdoor space. The ground is well kept as well. Overall, it's a serene place to be. Other parts of the church ground are schools and facilities for the community. Google Maps GPS sent me to the kittycorner of this lot initially. That is a different church and different religion. I think it's because there's another entrance to the parking lot connected with a sports field that belongs to the schools.

We all agree that it just felt right when we found St. T. We did not know a single soul when came here but now have many close friends. It is a hidden gem, but worth looking for. Super location at the edge of Memorial Park. It is not unusual to see runners and golfers pop in for mass. Very diverse: students, singles, couples, young families, seniors; all kinds, all walks. All are truly welcome here. Each Sunday obligation mass has a different "flavor", so try another if you aren't feeling the right fit. Also, our pastor Fr. Phil is awesome. Check us out. You will not be just another name on the parish roll. Join a club, a ministry or a class and you will meet lots of really genuinely nice people. I really encourage runners to come by. My dream is to have a runners' mass maybe once a month, I think that would be really cool! P.S. I give 5 Stars because I love this church, but I know it is not perfect. I attended Strake Jesuit for all four years of high school. It is a gorgeous campus and is…read morecomparable in size to a college campus. There are also classrooms with Smart Boards, which use projectors and touch sensitive technology to allow an interactive way of teaching. The faculty is excellent; the teachers are willing to help in any way they can to make sure you're receiving a quality education. Additionally, the school emphasizes community service (during the summer before my senior year, the requirement for service hours was a minimum of 100 hours) and spiritual life (the opportunity to attend a large retreat every year with all of your classmates). Through the community service and retreats, I really grew as a person, as I tried to follow Strake's motto, "Men for Others." There are excellent opportunities to be involved at school, such as athletics, theatre, SJET (a closed-circuit television system), student organizations, choir, orchestra, yearbook, and several others. Also, I was able to take Latin for several semesters, a language class that is not available at most schools. The administration at the school is very accessible, and the counselors are very helpful. I never felt lost when dealing with impending college decisions, and I am grateful for the guidance provided throughout this process. I am very appreciative of my parents for sending me to a great school, and in the future, I will definitely send my kids here.
