I told him that it's generally a 5 but for two days it was a 9, and his response..."A 9?! A ten is being burned alive...you really had pain of a 9?!" Well now that you put it into that perspective, Doctor, I guess I was being burned alive. He tried to diminutize my pain discomfort. Secondly, he asked me how many exercise the PT's have given me and when I told him about 50 different exercises, he scoffed at me as though I was lying. Why would I lie about this of all things??? Lastly, he lectured me that I was not following his instructions of getting PT often enough. I told him the PT I selected could only get me in once per week and he said, "why didn't you go to others on my list?". Because they too couldn't get me in until a month out or were 20 minutes away. He talks to you like you should be a physician expert as well and if you don't have his level of expertise, you must be an idiot. I would rather deal with my back pain than deal with this attitude. I don't need a pain in my "ace" in addition to my back.

In my experience, they were quick to mark appointments as missed or "no show" even when there were scheduling issues on their side. Those missed visits were then billed to workers' comp and later used to label me as "noncompliant," which can jeopardize your case. It felt like the documentation sent to the insurance company did not fairly reflect what actually happened with my appointments. Instead of working with me to keep treatment on track, it felt like they used the system against me. I want to be clear: my complaint is about the way management and administration handle workers' comp cases, not the individual physical therapists themselves. But because of how my workers' comp claim was handled, I would not recommend this Worcester, MA location to anyone dealing with a work-related injury.

After being hospitalized there I did in patient care for 3 weeks. After that I was able to do out-patient PT in Florida for three months. I was then able to come home to Mass and started PT at Greendale Worcester for four months. Kyle worked on many of my injuries then full concentration on my walking again. Kyle always gave me encouragement during these difficult sessions, always saying I could do it. He gave me techniques to work on at home and encouraged my confidence. After seven long months I can now do things I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to do again. Was here a long time for care. I left with little success. Went somewhere else, recovered in months.
