Big ole heaping pile of Vegetation Fried Rice, Large size.
    Braden W.

I have lived in Bellevue for quite some time and have come here now and again thru the years. Recently it has seemed to change ownership a few times so decided to try it out again after the last change. Everything we ordered up was very good and looked great. We normally end up getting food for a couple littles and adults so always a variety of dishes. The vegitarian Fried rice which i use to compliment other meals had ALOT of ingrediants and tasted pretty good on its own and was a huge portion. For take out the main dishes come in their own lil box and your rice in another which is a good way to make sure each part of the meals stays their best. I just finished up the left overs a week later and everything was still very good and no spoiling! Your mileage may vary but they are also open on mondays when alot of other places are closed. They take their day off on tuesdays.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is clean, tidy and they are always super nice! I sat down and was asked for my drink order immediately (Pepsi products). I ordered the lunch combo which comes with a main dish, fried or steamed rice, soup choice, an egg roll and a crab Rangoon. I scarfed it before the pic, sorry! I added my Diet Pepsi and the total was $12.31. As you can see, this is going to feed me 3x! The food was good! Just enough spice today, because heartburn is a beast! You could get it kicked up. I will order extra chicken next time for more preteen because this dish was heavy on carrots and light on chicken. (Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce, add snow peas). Service was excellent!! They were attentive without being up in your business. I will return with hubby to try the curry, next!

Nice quiet place and good food! Been here several times with my dad since I discovered it. We both enjoy their food and they have good service too

It has been a while since we've dined here. They've added a few new items on their menu, but the sushi has been the significant change from before. I've always been a fan of their Mongolian Beef and am glad to say that it's still as good as I remember it. There's a little hint of sweetness in the sauce that just for my liking. I highly recommend it. Note that the Mongolian beef is not listed on their lunch menu/specials, but you can definitely order it. This comes with your choice of soup (hot & sour or egg drop), but wished that soup is hotter (temperature wise) than the barely warm temp they serve you. They have a good selection of sushi with wholesale pricing, but I wasn't exactly wowed with the taste and the presentation. Overall, glad to know that Jade Palace is still a great dining option for folks looking for a change of pace while in the Bellevue area.

This is one of the best Chinese meals I had in a long time. Not pictured, I had the general chicken. Highly recommend. The hot and sour soup was amazing. I really enjoyed the crab rangoons, yum. I rate the entire experience an 8.9 out of 10. I will be back.

We had a great conversation with the gent serving, and enjoyed him nearly as much as the meal. The fish. So fresh. So tasty. Soft. Perfectly cut. Mmm. Parking is pretty simple. Plenty of space behind the building. Chill neighborhood, too. Felt quite safe. At some point, I need to try some of the many other types of Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine, and Thai cuisine. We walked in at 5:15 PM, sat down, and the place was packed within minutes. Not an empty seat in sight--good timing on our part! Our server greeted us quickly, and after a quick look at the drink menu, we went all in with water, Coke Zero (YES, a Coke Zero establishment!), and a cocktail--the amusingly named Sex in Okinawa. No regrets. As the sushi train made its rounds, we grabbed a crab rangoon. It was tasty but had cooled off from its little journey, so we opted for a fresh batch from the kitchen. The spring rolls? Crispy, hot, and on point. I did have to ask for sriracha a few times (our server kept forgetting), but to be fair, they were busy, so I didn't hold it against them. One thing we noticed was that some of the sushi rolls lacked descriptions. A tiny sign with ingredients would be helpful. I am a sushi newbie, and I wasn't about to roll the dice on a Volcano Roll without knowing what was inside. For what I did try: California rolls - classic and exactly what you'd expect. Sexy jalapeño - surprisingly good! (If there was fish in there, I didn't notice.) Tempura sweet potato roll - crispy, slightly sweet, and a winner. Pro tip: They offer a veteran/military discount, but double-check your receipt--ours wasn't applied at first, but they fixed it without issue. Final bill: about $68, and let's be honest, a good chunk of that was drinks. Not bad for a fun dinner out! Would I go back? Absolutely. There's plenty more to try, and the atmosphere makes for a great night with friends. Final Verdict: Worth the ride!

(although I think the fish is cured to retain freshness) We ordered a couple rolls, but mostly stuck to the nigiri. The Hama toast, prairie tuna, and yaki gindara were all ono. The yaki gindara tasted like butterfish sushi, but with sablefish rather than black cod. Also, the rice used for the sushi tasted similar to the rice used in sushi in Hawaii. We also tried some of the yakitori - grilled meat on sticks. I strongly recommend the tako yakitori. I'm not really into tako poke (Hawaii dish), but this tako with that miso panca sauce is super ono. Full of flavor with a touch of spicy. I could eat that all the time. The five-spice old fashioned they have is also delicious. Service was excellent for us. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself has a/c and gives an izakaya vibe familiar in Hawaii. Also, I saw people come in with t-shirt and shorts for dinner. So I guess there isn't really a dress code here. As others have mentioned, Koji is a sister restaurant to Yoshitomo, and the menus of both restaurants do overlap to a degree. However, Koji has MUCH better parking than Yoshitomo. Trying to find parking for Yoshitomo or Ota can be a pain since it's all street parking. Koji is in a strip mall with its own parking lot (free parking too). I will definitely return here whenever I'm in Omaha.
