My favorite store to shop at for jeans. Hudson and 7 mankind that's it for me. I'm in and out and always able to find what I need.

Went in to look at effy. Ended up buying regular jewelry. Not sure why but my daughter got followed by security- they didn't even hide it. I don't know if he was bored or what. I like to think we don't look shifty. Lol..... Then was overcharged on a sale item. ( charged full price). Not even worth going back for the process adjustment. Also, didn't even have enough merch to fill the store, half eas blocked off. I will stick to San Marcos. read more

Not to be confused with Ball Sak's Off 5th, which is a sports store. They have a lot of great deals that the major mall stores don't generally have, but then again they are pretty expensive for a discount clothing store, and I think Nordstrom Rack is a little bit better for value, and in all honesty, neither has anything on Marshall's and Ross and TJ Maxx and the like, especially in terms of pricing, although the service is probably better, hence the 3 star rating. read more

For some reason this store takes up a small portion of a much larger space. I'm not sure if they have simply downsized, or if this is a bad sign for this location. I was searching for a formal dress. was easy to them as the clothing is pretty well organized. My options were very attractive as well. However, I wasn't impressed with the prices. For being their discount store, prices shouldn't be so close to the original. read more

I bough a Versace bag and just pass d the 3O day mark the label mark fell off I called them they had me send it in and they sent it back and said because it had been used they couldn't do anything about it. Is this where clothes go to die? This store looks like a scene out of a horror movie. No music playing, always empty, flickering light bulbs overhead. They have such little inventory that they've blocked off a large portion of the store. Most "designer" items are damaged on the rack. They hardly carry any brands. I have given this location a chance a few times and it's never improved. It's the worst location I've ever visited. read more

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible customer service. i went in today to return a watch i purchased in october. Now this isn't just a $100 watch it was $400+ tax Gucci watch that i just didn't get a chance to wear. after the icy conditions and new expenses that came up i realized an extravagant purchase like this wasn't necessary. i called customer service for the company ahead of time to confirm my refund and they said the store would happily return my item without issues. that was the opposite that happened today. I was greeted by one of my favorite Saks off 5th staff members named Veronica. she by far is the only gem in that building. i was greeted by a "manager" named Courtney, and had a defensive and firm answer even after i explained my situation, she had no empathy or understanding. she said her store manager named Margo Gonzalez wouldn't meet with me after i asked nicely, she gave me a blank and complete lie saying she "could" be in a meeting..... what is she being paid for if she can't interact with her clients that help pay her paycheck ? i was given their district manager james smiths contact, has he written or contacted me....? not a word. After the money i've spent with this company without returning anything significant over the years . the fact that they weren't willing to assist me during this stressful time can guarantee i won't be shopping at saks, saks off fifth ever again. This is the worst company with the worst return policy when competitors like nordstrom will do what they can to make their clients happy. i'm out of $400 because of their greedy pockets. the management team should be replaced with people who care about true customer service. i'm disgusted with how i was treated. I didn't even realized they opened a new store. The original non-Off 5th store used to be on Great Hills. This location is huge! I was very excited to see what there was inside! There are a ton of Handbags to select from, however not any real high-end brands that I was anticipating. There are a ton of Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Coach and Betsey Johnson bags. There were very few YSL, Furla bags. There is a large shoe selection. I didn't find any good deals, but my friend got a good deal there. A ton of shoes to search through. I didn't look through much of their clothes, but they also had a giant selection as well. It's very nice that everything was spaced out and there was room to shop. It wasn't a lot of digging so it was nice compared to other stores. I wasn't too impressed by the jewelry section either. I think there is a lot of potential here and perhaps they are still in the opening stages and haven't gotten a lot of product in yet. Not that there seemed to be a lot of empty shelves or anything. The sunglasses section was a bit hectic. There were a ton of glasses to choose from, but it was slightly annoying since the brands that were on the display, were not the sunglasses that were displayed underneath. read more

Not much to offer and waaaayyyyyy over priced for being OFF 5th. I'd recommend going to Nordstrom Rack in the same plaza at the other end (I have no affiliations with Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack) which I think offer much more variety and better brands and at steeper discounts. It may be a hit or miss thing. Even cologne I see here are more expensive or equivalent to Amazon Prime with free overnight prices. read more

I went here a few days after Christmas. Every other retailer I visited was dirty, messy, unorganized. Saks was lovely. It just felt nice to be there. Prices were a bit higher than Nordstrom Rack, but the quality of clothing at Saks was at a whole other level. I much prefer the flow of this store. Minus one star for two reasons: I was primarily looking for Intimates, but they only carried two brands in a limited variety of sizes. Second, I found a pair of shoes with CLEAR defects. They had been worn and returned (scuffs on the toes and dirty bottoms). Also, there was a manufacturer defect with the glue around the edges. The manager was plain rude discussing this. She tried to pass the glue off as a "designer style choice" (no way). And she scuffs, she just shrugged. She would not budge at giving me a discount of more than 10%. I was so, so disappointed. I don't shop often, and buy things for life. I'd rather get them in good condition, or at appropriate value. So: good selection, great environment, poor customer service. read more

Shocked at some of these bad reviews. I've been here countless times in the last year, and I've had a lot of good finds here at a great price. The clothes in-store pretty closely follow the sample sale website Gilt. If you frequently shop on Gilt and wish you could try the clothes on before buying them, it's certainly worth stopping in at Saks Off Fifth. At the end of the day it is a discount store, so of course, it takes a little digging, and there are times the clothes you want won't be your size, but all in all Saks Off Fifth makes it pretty easy. My favorite brands they tend to carry here are Alice + Olivia, Rag & Bone, Elizabeth and James, James Perse, and Free People, some of which are hard to get a hold of in-store for try-on, and are certainly hard to find at such a good price. I haven't personally had any poor experiences with customer service. They have a huge sunglasses section, as well, if you are into that. All in all, it's a more organized version of Nordstrom Rack (except around the holidays, but all places tend to get disorganized around then). If you are willing to dig around, this is a great place to find some designer stuff at a good price. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five, is that they take a while to change what they carry in store. Even if I go in a couple of months apart, I usually find some of the same clothes each time. Wish they would restock more, but it's a great discount store! read more

Absolutely awful customer service. Never have I been treated so poorly and disrespectful by a salesperson at this store. Tried to exchange something at the register with a receipt and the lady made me feel like a criminal. I bought something also on my return - in which the item had a red tag but was ringing up full price. I showed the lady where the items were and she picked them all up and put them in the back room. Did not even have the decency to check another size and see if it was cheaper. I checked website and it WAS cheaper. So disrespectful to me and had a her way or no way type of mind - NOT customer focused at all. As this store (Austin, TX) is considered one of my favorite stores, I will not step foot again at this location due to the absolute terrible customer service. read more

Lady at the register would not give me my money back on a return. I had a receipt for the item. She kept pushing the store credit which I did not want. I asked for the manager several times and then she finally called the manager and he save the day he refunded 100% of my money and I left a happy customer. I just feel that it shouldn't have gone to the manager for something so simple. read more

I had been meaning to put this up but been so busy that I really didn't want to write a negative review but I truly feel like I need to and maybe someone can speak to this person on maybe changing her way of business. I was shopping for a dress and saw an employee(female) speaking to another gentlemen I believe she was a manager her tone and authority made it known. She was very disrespectful and almost annoyed with her employee the gentleman had a accent almost couldn't speak english and she noticed that I noticed her so she turned and didn't acknowledge me but the gentleman came to me and ask me if I needed help he was very helpful he even went to get me a cart I was very appreciative of his acknowledgement and made me feel welcomed. As for the female saw me a few times after that and never said hi or if she could help me in any way. I asked the male cashier who was she and he said she was a manager named Kelly. Being bullied at work is not ok! So sad. read more

Sak's Off Fifth is one of my favorite stores until yesterday. The customer service was terrible. While I was trying on clothes I had asked the lady to hold the ones I want when I switched them out to try different ones on. When I came back with more stuff to try on she had given my dressing room away. Next I come out and the stuff she place on the hold rack was gone. Instead of apologizing she told me I was wrong because I didn't tell her because I told the other girl who was working the dressing room. Instead of Apologizing she kept going on about how it was my fault. NOT ONLY THAT she kept banging on my door because she thought I was someone else. I get that people make mistakes (I worked retail before) but instead of being extremely rude and telling me it was my fault without offering a solution is unacceptable. She should be fired. She was incredibly rude and didn't even help me look for the clothes I WOULD have purchased which was about $300 in clothes. Thanks saks! Will never be going back. Such a disappointment. read more
