Visiting from the DFW area. So glad we stopped. Every bite of every dish wash delicious. Beef and chicken are as tender as can be. The shrimp is perfection Service was fast, friendly and very polite. Strip mall frontage hides and very well decorated interior. If you have a choice, eat here.

While out running errands, we decided to try something new and different for lunch on a Saturday, and boy, oh boy...I'm glad we did! We were greeted and sat immediately. The inside is really nice. Elegant, I would even say. Our waitress was Eileen and she was great! We ordered the CD 8 Thai Curry with Chicken and the CD 11 Thai Basil with Chicken with yellow curry. Both of these dishes were incredibly delicious! The serving is also very generous. I'm so glad we stopped in to try this place. It did not disappoint and we'll for sure be back for dinner!

Chinese and Japanese Fusion. This is an adorable cozy little place perfect for lunch! The dinner menu also looks wonderful. My friends and I enjoyed the bento box lunch special. We had one with steak, one with salmon and one with chicken. They come with soup or salad, a California roll, white or fried rice and egg roll. All of this plus tea and tip for less than $20. What a bargain! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Look forward to visiting again.

Really big menu with a lot of variety. Sushi has been so good that we haven't tried anything else but the chicken fried rice. Big Jason Roll was !

Sakura Bistro in Magnolia is awesome! This place has the best sushi! I always order the same roll and light rice and they make it perfect every time! It's usually really busy on the weekends and I see why! The service is always top notch and very quick. I love the inside of this place it's very unique with the hanging lights from the ceiling. I will continue to give them my business and keep enjoying the awesome sushi they make!

Took my daughter out for sushi at Sakura Bistro and had a pretty great experience! We started with the spring rolls, which were perfectly crispy, and ordered a few different sushi rolls. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted fresh and delicious. The quality was impressive, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Prices were reasonable, ranging from about $10 to $16 per roll. The restaurant wasn't too busy, so the service was smooth and relaxed. Overall, it was a solid spot for sushi would definitely come back again!

A hidden gem tucked away in Magnolia, Sakura brings fresh and tasty sushi to the area! Located near the HEB off of 149, they fuse sushi with some Chinese food dishes and at night time, it feels like you're walking into a a dimly lighted back alley restaurant that's cozy and intimate. The ambience gives cute date night vibes or group get togethers! We were greeted and sat by the cutest little host at the front and he was so kind and courteous and helping his family out... The food was ahhhhh-mazing and our server was kind and helpful. Checked in on us respectable amount of times and kudos for him to deal with my last minute mochi ice cream order after we received our bill/check... We ordered: Seaweed salad Spicy edamame: *favorite of the night, must try, and not too spicy, but fresh and the edamame beans were soft, just right! Yellowtail carpaccio: my favorite of the night, fresh and garnished with a jalapeño to give it a kick of spicy-ness... The New Orleans The Nemo: was simple and light but still had a nice flavor to it... (There were a couple other rolls we ordered but can't remember the names) The fish and ingredients were super fresh! Katsu for the kiddos! Comes with yummy fried rice and miso soup! Perfect alternative for kids who don't like sushi! I'd love to come back and try their other dishes but overall my sisters family loved it and I did too! We will definitely be going back to try more food on their menu!

The price for dinner is $39.99, which I think is already expensive in comparison to other AYCE sushi places. They also offer a prime dinner price, which has other premium selections, but that price is just jaw-dropping. I honestly think that paying for the regular price is more than enough to eat well. My husband and I came here with friends for Restaurant Month. While some of our friends stuck with the Restaurant Month special of $39, my husband and I decided to pay $0.99 more to do AYCE. To get my money's worth, I ate 4 Signature Rolls! I wish I could eat more because there were so many other items I wanted to try. Ema Chashu Bao - The bao itself was fluffy and awesome. The pork belly/content was less to be desired. You can pass on getting this. Flaming Lips Roll - I really enjoyed this and highly recommend. This was super flavorful that I didn't have to dip it in anything. Houston Roll - This was really good and unique! I've never ordered or had anything like this before. I also thought this was flavorful and did not require extra sauce. Volcano Roll - It was good, but not as good as Flaming Lips or Houston Roll. Rainbow Roll - It's pretty much the same everywhere. If I come back, I wouldn't order this again. I did have to dip this in some spicy mayo and eel sauce. Red Bean Ice Cream - I liked it. It's not too sweet and was a satisfying end to the meal. The sushi rolls are cream cheese heavy, so if you're not a fan, maybe stay away from those. I don't mind the cream cheese; it did make the rolls more creamy. I did appreciate that the rolls were stuffed with actual ingredients and seafood instead of being mainly rice. I don't think they have a tactic of using more rice to make you full faster. You do taste the quality of the fish and are able to enjoy each bite! PROS: 1. An amazing and extensive amount of items to chose from. 2. The food is made as you order it, so it is fresh. 3. Not everyone at the table has to pay the same price. For example, if one person decides to get the Prime Dinner, they do not force everyone to pay the same price. 4. I appreciated the unique and vast variety of Signature Sushi selections. Sushi places tend to have the same things over and over, with using the same ingredients and just changing up the combination. However, Ema has so many different combinations! CONS: 1. It takes a while for your food to come out since everything is made to order. Also, sushi takes finesse and time to prepare, so just be patient! 2. Our waitress seems overwhelmed or something because she kept forgetting some things. However, she was very friendly and sweet. 3. My friend ordered matcha ice cream along with a few of us who got other flavored ice cream. When our ice cream got delivered to us, his matcha ice cream got delivered to someone else and it happened to be the last scoop of matcha. I mean, maybe that other guy ordered first, but it was just weird. 4. I wish I could order half rolls instead, so I am able to eat more of other things. Overall, the food was delicious and we had a great time. This restaurant is definitely worth trying at least once. However, because of the price, it would take some convincing for us to come back again.

Everything in…read moretheir menu is something great, with some of my personal favorites being the Homestyle Trio with Eggplant, their Mapo Tofu (off menu, no gatekeeping), their Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup (a wee too spicy for me personally, but I love the simplicity of it), and the General Tso's Chicken. The eggplant dish mentioned is very rich and flavorful, with the eggplant cooked to be soft and almost mushy (but in a good way), nicely complimented by particularly the beef. Their lo mein is a little watery on various occasions, but still maintains a great and very nice flavor. Their fried rice is one of my favorites in the area and is always very well made no matter the time of day. The fried chicken wings, crab puffs, and crab bomber appetizers are both just such standouts in what is often an overlooked part of the menu by many restaurants. I have nothing but praise about how this place handles food. The staff is all really nice and welcoming from entrance to walking out the door. They are very good with order additions or food/allergy restrictions and the dishes always come out in a timely (but not rushed) manner, no matter whether it is a weekday morning or a busy dinner crowd. I'd recommend the lunch special for anyone coming around that time, as the deal of egg rolls, soup, and an entree or 2-3 sushi rolls for a low price is a steal. The ambiance nice for sure and the tables are clean, though I do sometimes get disoriented by the wallpaper they use (I think it's just me though). Whenever this place first opened, I was very disappointed in the restaurant. Meals were salt with a side of meat and rice and was just overall underwhelming. But now, it is one of my family's go to places whenever we need quality food in a short distance. Definitely worth a try, even over other restaurants in the area that serve a similar menu.

Even so, we didn't have to wait for a table for two. The meal was filling. The portion sizes are enough to feed two people. I made some alterations to my order and they were happy to oblige. Our service was great. I could tell the waitress was new and still learning so I worked with her. She now knows that they do have serve a salmon dish that comes with jumbo shrimp, steamed vegetables and the rice of your choice. This dish was pretty good. I could have done without the jumbo jalapeño though. I enjoyed the seaweed salad. It came with a bed of lettuce and a creamy dressing. Not the typical seaweed salad, but enjoyable nonetheless.
