Ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi with fried rice. Rice was lukewarm. Only 6 shrimp. Beef was rubbery. There are way better places.

I was introduced to this spot by some friends, and ever since then it's been one of those places I know I can count on. Whether you're going to celebrate something special or just looking for good food and atmosphere, this place is solid The vibe inside is chill low but with upscale energy, but overall just a great environment. On my last visit, I went with sushi since that's what I was craving, and everything I ordered was hitting. Every item I picked off the menu was flavorful and well put together. The customer service was 10/10; polite, attentive, and moved really quickly. I didn't get a chance to try any cocktails, but their cocktail menu looked solid. I ended up sticking with wine for the evening, but I definitely plan on going back to explore more of the menu and try a few drinks because they have so many options to choose from. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking it out if you want good food and great service.

Our server Efosa was quick to greet us and took our drink and appetizer order in. My girlfriend ordered a watermelon martini. Be careful the drink are strong but tastey at least according to her. For what its worth she a mixologist. Efosa checked back to see if we were ready to order but with all the great choices of what to order we needed a little more time. He gave us a few minutes and when I looked up and he seen me looking he was back to take our Spicey Curry Fried Rice and General Tso shrimp order. The appetizer Crab Dip that we ordered came out in record timing. Followed within a few minutes of or entrees. The was hot and were flavorful. Efosa made sure to look our way overtime we went by to see if we needed anything. This guy is not only a gentleman but gets the whole process of making sure the guest are taken care of. There was plenty left over and we took some to go. We will be back.

The decor was lovely and the ambiance represented an upscale experience in my opinion. They even offered free champagne and it was good! My friend and I tried: the Sticky Ribs Suya, Jerk-Braised Short Ribs with Curry Pea Risotto, Oxtail Mac & Cheese, and the Suya-Spiced Lamb Chops. All of the food was absolutely delicious, my only gripe would be that the lamb chops didn't come with enough green beans. The "Up All Night" (their version of an espresso martini) was also pretty good. Next time, I'd opt to get a traditional espresso martini though. Lastly, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and timely. We even left her an extra tip. If I had to make a suggestion, the big ape could be moved elsewhere. It really does take up too much space.

The menu has shrunk significantly and what's left doesn't justify the price point. $20 for deviled eggs? And nearly everything is paired with grits, which is interesting for a restaurant billing itself as African and Asian fusion. I brought a Nigerian friend along and we were both equally confused by that creative direction. Safe to say grits aren't exactly a staple. We were told about off-menu options tomahawk, ribeye (out of stock), and branzino. We went with the branzino and a potato hash that turned out to be exactly what it sounds like: cut up potatoes and what tasted like powdered eggs straight from a hotel breakfast buffet. The branzino needed salt, pepper AND hot sauce to get there, that's not a seasoning preference.. The ambience and decor remain the highlight genuinely a beautiful space. But a pretty room can only carry so much. I wanted to love this place. I really did. But I don't think a third visit is in the cards.

I started with the cucumber roll as an appetizer, which came out quickly and was fresh. For our main course, we shared the Crispy Fragrant Salt & Pepper Whole Fish. It was served with rice and broccoli and was a very large portion, definitely meant for sharing. The fish itself was really flavorful and well-prepared--I would order it again. It's definitely a place where you're paying for both the food and the ambiance--our bill for two people with a glass of wine and an appetizer easily exceeded $100, and an 18% gratuity was automatically added even though our table only had three guests. That said, the experience was worth it. The food was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The wine was generously poured, and the calamari was outstanding--perfectly cooked and paired with flavorful dipping sauces. I ordered the chicken and shrimp, and both were delicious, complemented by tasty fried rice and fresh, well-seasoned vegetables. Overall, Grace's is a great choice for special occasions or a celebratory night out. If you're looking for quality food in an elegant setting and don't mind spending a bit more, it's definitely worth a visit.
