Craving poke bowl for lunch in Upper Marlboro and this was the closest spot. I heard about The Spot from Yelp and decided to check it out. Inside it is decorated like a mall food court with some video games to give it an old school look. I ordered on the kiosk a custom poke bowl with spicy tuna and salmon and all the fix-ins. LOL just brown rice with kimchi, salad, mango and pineapple. My bowl was ready for me a few minutes past the quoted time. The staff were friendly and hardworking, but the poke was underwhelming. The tuna was flaked, but the salmon was cut in long strips. Also the pineapple was canned not fresh. Overall I would try other vendors at The Spot before ordering from Sushi Monsta again.

Sushi Monsta spicy tuna roll was overall really good. I wish I had a longer review, but with sushi, it's either good or bad, and this place had good sushi. The portion was good, but the price was a tad on the higher end for this sushi type. Yet, this is one of the few places in the Camp Springs area where you can get decent sushi that isn't from a grocery store. This roll wasn't bland, and it tasted fresh. I enjoyed it. If you are in the area, stop in and give them a shot. I will surely return to try some specialty rolls that they had.

The food was horrible. Worst sushi and ramen I've ever had. I threw everything away. I don't know how it has so many good reviews.

My first time trying their sushi. Great value. Very tasty. Will definitely order from there again. Not bad at all.

The sushi is great and they have great prices on food and drinks for happy hour. The apps are great size portions for the price. The music is great and it's a vibe. H street in itself is a vibe, so try it out! Now as far as parking, you might have to spin the block a few times o look on the street, but it's work it. The only thing that brought the rating down is the service was slow in the beginning even though no me was in there. I think they expect you to order using the QR code, but I'm kind of old school, so it doesn't really work for me.

I visited this spot for a quick Saturday dinner, and we loved this quaint little restaurant with its friendly staff and energetic pop music. My friend and I both ordered their poke, which was quite tasty; the fish was fresh and the rice was nice and warm, but I felt that the ratios were a bit off. The bowl was 80% rice, and, while I'm usually more than happy to just eat a bowl of plain rice, there wasn't quite enough flavor from the residual sauce or toppings to keep the simple carb interesting. If you're vegetarian, though, this spot is a great place to sample some fun, vegan-friendly Asian fusion dishes. Their menu features fun combos like the Dirty Vegan, a super flavorful vermicelli noodle dish with fired tofu and veggies. I don't think I'll get their poke again, but I'd love to come back and try some of their vegetarian menu items!

If you're looking for a hole in the wall keep looking. You're looking for hole in the hole in the wall. Basically it is a bar on the 2nd Floor of the old building which has another bar on the first floor. Once you find it I can't say you'd be disappointed. Although we didn't get there when they have their busiest time like Friday or Saturday night but we were seated immediately service was great prices reasonable. The Menu isn't vast (this is not a Cheesecake Factory) and I didn't see any issues with anything we ordered. Cocktails were superb even without Pork Belly Garnish on my Monster. Ordered all appetizers from the list. All of them were wonderful. Karaage, Pickles, Wings, Buns It is all delicious. Same with Ramen. Nothing had any issues to note all were absolutely superb.

The stairwell smells awful. The drinks are very disappointing, I ordered a drink and it came in a large wine glass and was 1/4 full. Something else that threw me off was the hostess/manager. She isn't friendly and rushes you from the start to the end of your meal.

Everything here is pretty good. But the Mexican food was just okay (beans and cheese dip tasted canned/powdered), while the tacos were pretty standard. But my partner enjoyed having his coffee and juice here as well as the pizza. Overall we really enjoyed the concept of this place -- the shared community space, the tall ceilings, and the fast and seamless ordering system. You can order at any kiosk/stand, but it's better to grab a table, sit down, and order from the unique link you scan from each table's unique QR code link, and they bring the food to you. It's a model ahead of its time but one that makes it easy to order your food (though I can see the drawbacks like having to order once you get to the building since there are unique QR codes that prevent you from ordering food when you're not there. I honestly would give the food closer to 4 stars, but my partner had such positive experiences at this place that I am giving it 5 stars.
