Best hibachi in town as far as the food goes. Generous portions, very tasty. Love that you can just swing through the drive thru to pick up or you can even have it delivered. Service is always kind and fast! This is not a traditional hibachi place where you sit around a grill. Don't really recommend dine in. read more

First time here. Did the drive thru. Friendly service, quick and was delicious. The noodles where great! Hibachi was spot on!

Not overly impressed with this restaurant. We ordered takeout which was quick and safe. However, the food was quite bland. I had chicken fried rice and there was almost no flavor...also no vegetables or egg. Just chicken and rice. My husband had sesame chicken, which apparently was their hibachi chicken but with sesame seeds on it. Also lackluster on flavor, though it did have some vegetables. The cream cheese wontons were very good, but I won't be returning just for that. read more

For what it is, it is amazing! Delicious hibachi food when you don't want to spend the money or take the time of eating out. The food is so delicious, even better then some sit down hibachi restaurants. Their yum yum sauce is the best around! Only downside is they charge money for extra yum yum sauce sides. Ok so I've lived here for 2 years now. Always drove by the place but never bothered to try it. And I definitely regret it because it's amazing! Best general tsao's ever! Good price for large portions! Makes me happy that I don't have to drive over 20 minutes to Silk Road anymore! My only negative comment would be the building needs a serious paint job on the outside! We spend a lot of time traveling, and so far this has been one of the best Japanese restaurants I have tried. The teriyaki chicken plate was incredible. There is enough food in one plate to eat off of for multiple meals, or just to share with your family. Quick and easy to order, and food came out quickly! Each plate on the menu comes with a vegetable medley of zucchini, mushrooms, and onions. They also include egg and an extremely generous helping of rice. You can't go wrong here!! read more

We are visiting from out of town and decided to try this restaurant. We ordered through the drive thru and got our food within 5 mins. We ordered Crab Rangoons which were SO good, a salad with the ginger dressing, and teriyaki chicken. My husband and I shared everything since the portions are so large. Well-cooked and tasty, especially with the yum-yum sauce. The container is packed with rice and makes 2 meals easily. I prefer teriyaki over hibachi, as I think it has more flavor. Dishes come with meat of your choice cooked with zucchini and onions. I added broccoli but it was a little pricey at $3 more. Weird. But it has always been good. For Staunton, this restaraunt is outstanding. The food is fresh, quick, delicious and consistent. They offer a drive up window (it's in an old KFC building), pick up service and some seating. Each entre is very reasonably priced--most everything about $7--and that's enough for at least two people. since this place opened my family doesn't want to go anywhere else. We're extra fond of both hibachi and teriyaki chicken or steak which are full of zucchini, mushrooms, and onions. Easy access from both I-81 & I-64. Enjoy! read more

We got our order to go and it was somewhere between bad and disgusting. The beef tasted like it was either old or not really beef and General Tso's was dry and the broccoli was kind of yellowish. I spent $22 and we threw out most of our food the other reviews must of been made up reviews because this place is not good at all read more

I'm sorry to have to write this but the food has definitely gone down hill. I used to love the abundance of goodness. Last night I stopped for Hibachi Chicken with a side of spring rolls. The spring rolls had nothing but a tiny bit of cabbage in them. Absolutely empty calories. The Hibachi "Chicken" had maybe a quarter cup of chicken in the whole thing. I had to take it home and add more in order to make it a meal. I don't know what happened. Maybe they're trying to save money? Maybe business is poor? Whatever it is I'm afraid they've lost one customer. read more

This place has been open for awhile and I have been reluctant to try it because it doesn't look like much from the outside. But today, for Mother's Day, I really wanted some Japanese food but didn't want to spend $80+ on food. I sent my husband to pick some up hibachi steak and shrimp and I am so pleasantly surprised! The food was so fresh and delicious and the yum yum sauce (which is my favorite thing to add to my rice) was AMAZING. The portions were HUGE. 1 hibachi meal from here could easily feed 2 people. We will be ordering from here more often now! We ordered 2 hibachi meals with 4 side orders of rice and a side order of broccoli and ALOT of yum yum sauce. It fed us and both kids there's there's still more than half left and it cost less than $40. read more

Never a bad experience here. Great fresh food every time and a lot of it. The prices are great and the yum yum sauce is addictive!

What you need to know is this: it's fast food Japanese. Goddamn delicious greasy fast food Japanese. You should come here when you're hungover, or depressed, or just need some good ole fashioned comfort food. I usually get the veggie udon (which is more like a Chinese lo mein), or the veggie fried rice. Staff are great. If you call in on a day that isn't busy, the woman working there is the sweetest. Love it! Its better food than competitors like Massaki and at a MUCH cheaper price. Even the Yum Yum sauce is better here. One thing to note though is that the food is served in a to-go container even if you dine in and they DO NOT cook the food in front of you like at other Japanese steakhouses. This doesn't bother me at all, as I don't usually want that experience and reserve it only for special occasions with large groups. Decor is basically fast food-ish, but the staff is still kind and brings our food out to us so we don't wait at the counter. Prices are great and very low, so I can treat myself to filet minion and seafood for about half of what others charge. Salad and soup is extra but still cheap and I usually don't eat the soup at the other places anyways, so I appreciate the savings more than the extra dish. The only suggestion I would make is that they could give a bit more meat with the servings, but it likely just seems like less since you get sooooo much more rice here. read more
