I came here with my mom, sister, and sister's sister in law. I had never been here before. We all used groupon. I got the 60 minute deep tissue and it was overall ok, but when it was time for the scalp massage, the lady put a very hot rice pillow under my neck. I let her know it was hot at least 3x but she only adjusted the (come to find out) very small insulating towel a bit but not enough to stop the burning and subsequent red neck and scalp. My sister and mom got the foot massage, and even though we made advance appointments, they must have been short handed because my mom's masseuse kept answering the phone, making appointments... just not giving her the attention she paid for. The language and cultural barrier was a little too much. Not the worst massage, but definitely not the best. read more

We were visiting Santa Fe and found this place because of Yelp reviews. We got 60 minute combo body massages by Shelly and David and they were both great. They both confirmed with us that the pressure was to our liking. The rooms were very clean with multiple occupancy accommodations (private, couples, multiple persons). I was looking for a decent priced massage and reflexology (since I had never had one) and massage for my daughter and I visiting from out of state. I did the 1/2 hour full massage and 1/2 hour reflexology. They do an awesome job at an excellent price! They were so good that I tipped all 3 of them $40. Just one note, when they do the full body massage, they will massage into the buttocks. If this would make you uncomfortable, I'm sure you could just ask beforehand to not touch that area. Their online payment system was a bit confusing to me also (probably not for locals that go there regularly). I wasn't sure if I was supposed to buy it online and then phone and reserve or just pay in the store. I phoned to reserve and they had me just pay in person. I did not have any massage therapists talking to each other (as there was only one at a time in the room). They did speak to each other when the one doing the full body massage left the room and the reflexologist came in. It was not a big deal to me. read more

It's not choppy or rushed, but slow and thorough. They have bars on the ceiling to walk skillfully on your back with perfect pressure. It's clean and it's a steal for the price. I went in based on reviews and was not disappointed. It's been many years since I've had a massage and I needed one desperately after having an injury with a 3-month recovery. I had a one-hour full body massage with stones and a half hour foot massage. It was divine and she worked on the areas that needed extra attention with great consideration for my comfort level. The skill and hard work of my therapist were greatly appreciated. I would have gone much sooner had I known the immediate benefits. I've been several times for foot reflexology and I plan on going every month. I find it to be private and comfortable and I feel safe going to strangers. They do a very good job of attending to all of the places indicated on my intake sheet. I always feel better when I leave and that stays with me for a few days. I'm finding a better overall result than my longstanding massage elsewhere. Even though the person doing the reflexology on me is different each time, the treatment is consistent. I almost hate to let others know about this hidden gem, but for value, this place can't be beat! All of the therapists are good, but Jason is by far the best. His English is also fairly good as well, if you prefer to be able to tell your therapist where it hurts. I have had massages from well over 100 therapists in my lifetime, and Jason is definitely up there in the top five. $35 will get you half an hour of bodywork and an hour of foot massage, though with your clothes mostly on. Deep tissue bodywork only is $60 an hour. I always try to tip well, as I'm not sure how well the therapists are paid here. Sakura is part of the expanding Chinese influence in the massage business, and that can sometimes mean underpaid or exploited therapists. The therapists here seem happy, but I always tip in cash so that the owner can't take their tips from my card (a common practice in California, my home state). This location is better than the Alameda location because as it is new, there are less customers to compete with, so you can almost always get an appointment. read more

I'm reminded of the saying "everything happens for a reason". Was on my way to ANOTHER massage facility for a much needed massage, waited over 30 minutes for the shop to open but was disappointed. No sign indicated closed for the day and no one picked up the phone, no voicemail option either. So I began to google nearest massage facilities and after another 30 minutes of calls that were not answered at 5 different places I was politely greeted by a warm receptionist from Sakura Foot Reflexology, who totally made my day when she answered yes as I asked if there was an immediate opening for a 90-minute full body massage! Being a body builder/fitness competitor I was in dire need of a massage from a pretty hard workout the day before. The facility was very clean, everyone was nice and professional. Where do I start about my massage therapist David!? OMG..best massage ever!!! Very professional, very attentive to the pressures for my muscles and my comfort. You must go see him if you want an amazing massage!! Your muscles and lymphatics will thank you!! And you can not beat the great price! Mind you, you are not getting Beverly Hills Spa atmosphere, you're getting an incredible tailored massage!They are definitely getting a regular repeat customer! Thanks David and staff! read more
