She even helped save it a time or two from my phases of thinking I could color it myself. (Spoiler alert: I should NOT have colored it myself.) Danielle is not only very knowledgeable about current hairstyles and treatments, she's also very meticulous and patient. I think I found my hairstylist 1st time good and then the next time they do a terrible haircut, it's really bad. This place the first time it was bad and I never went back. I feel like they're stealing from me paying for this and also giving them a tip. Ask me why I do it, sometimes I don't realize how bad it is and sometimes I just don't want them to cut any more hair off. Yes, I've asked them to fix it and sometimes it actually gets worse. Danielle you should know it shows you don't care about doing a good job through your work. People have to walk around with this mess and it brings real hair trauma. Maybe find something else to do for a job and spare people with this trauma!! IN RESPONSE, this is all true, you have to look back maybe a year or more. She really goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with your cut and style. It's been years since I've come across a stylist that makes you feel like their #1 priority. Bonus points for talking at length with me about the exact cut of my bangs. Most stylists I've been to gloss over this part of the cut leaving me with so-so results. It had a contemporary, modern look and was very clean. I was greeted with a friendly "hello" from everyone in the salon and it was quite welcoming. I specifically asked for Latayvia and she ensured I was at a sink within a few minutes of my arrival. I left the salon with great smelling hair and my curl pattern looked gorgeous. My Experience- I want to preface my experience by saying: whenever you go someplace new for your hair, it's important to discuss what you like and how you like things done. The stylist can't read your mind and has to learn more about you. The person who washed my hair was very gentle. However, I like a vigorous wash, so I asked if she could dig a bit deeper. Latayvia overheard the conversation and decided to help the young lady. After listening to me, she proceeded to wash my hair the way I preferred. I really appreciated that she didn't insist on doing it her way and was open to hearing what I like. Latayvia maintained a cheerful attitude and made me feel relaxed. I went to their website and it was really easy to navigate and set up an appointment. They have everything from makeup to natural hair care to sew-ins etc. My appt was for 10:30a and once I arrived I was seated right away! Latayvia is so sweet and her co-partner Yiasa was very friendly as well. I felt very welcome. My appointment was with Latayvia and she got my hair RIGHT! The wash was great and she was able to shape it to where my hair can grow back evenly. The salon is very clean, chic, and cozy and in s great (safe) location. Overall I had a great experience, and communication was wonderful with them. Would definitely go back again!
