I came to salad and go and ordered 3 salads 3 lemonades and when I got home I began passing out salads and instantly saw a bug crawling in the salad. I drove back all the way from my house, asked for a refund, and was told by the employee that " Bugs are usually found in our salads because our company uses all organic products and people finding bugs in our salads is normal" This was a go to place for a healthy meal but seeing how dirty the line was and having an employee tell me it's normal it's extremely disgusting. If having bugs in salads is normal than this company wouldn't be in business! read more

I took me and my kids to salad and go and I got to placing my order I ordered a kids wrap and the employee got confused so I told him I ordered this yesterday the employee began to argue with me that they do not have a kids wrap so I told him I am going to pull up to the windrow so I can talk to a manager because I wanted to tell the manager my other was wrong yesterday and also that I just ordered a kids wrap and I am confused why I can not order it again. So I try to explain what is happening and the shift lead at the window did not even let me speak and let me explain was was happening instead she was smirking looking back in forth to her co workers, pretty much mocking me. So I am to get the actually manager and I told him what was happening. He took my order and I paid. Then I asked for the district managers number and he said he could not give me trishas information so I gave him mine so she can get a hold of me. As I'm waiting for my order it seemed like the situation calmed down but I still see hid employees smirking at me especially the older lady with red hair. She just kept staring at me. So I asked the manager for the red hair lady's name and the shift leads name. That's when it got heated again. When I asked the manager their names he looked confused like he didn't know their names so I asked him "do you not know your employees name" he got really upset did I was giving him attitude and he didn't like my tone. So he gave me a refund and proceeded to tell me how awful I am and how I can't go back to that location anymore. I went home with my kids without the food we ordered and this crazy experience. I do not know what type of employees you have working for you but these type of people are only killing your business. I can't believe how awful I was treated at this location. read more

But at this location might as well not order ahead because they don't do your order until you ask them for it and they tell you it's faster to go through the drive thru as they only make the salads ordered ahead of time once the person gets there AND all the drive thru orders are made. Which is why you sit in the order ahead line for 20+ minutes. read more

If you're in a hurry I would recommend you still go through the drive-thru. It's apparent that the drive-thru is a priority and mobile order is on the back burner. Our mobil order was placed about 30 minutes prior to our arrival. We sat and watched about 9 cars go through before being acknowledged at the mobil pick-up window after ringing the bell multiple times. A location finally opened close enough for me to try and boy am I glad it's here! What a great, well-executed concept. I could taste every ingredient in my salad, every ingredient was fresh, the price was absolutely worth every penny, the portions were perfect. They have a 'make your own' option so that's going to be my new best friend. Online ordering was pretty easy, and picking up was too. What's really stood out to me about my first experience here is the attention to allergens. Ordering online down at the bottom of each salad you order you can identify if you're allergic to eggs, shellfish, etc. and they take it seriously. I hadn't seen that one of the salads I got came with green onions, but I checked the 'onion allergy' tab and when I went to pick up my order they confirmed the allergy and had already removed the green onions. Just knowing that they actually read the order all the way through made this whole experience a 5 star one. Most places don't take the time to read every line of an order. Love salad to go however this location has one major flaw...the order ahead feature drive up window. I feel like many customers get there early and wait at the window for their food to be completed. When I get there at my scheduled time I have to wait for the person in front of me to get their food. I'm usually in a hurry and this is very inconvenient. Their prices may be great, but the food is not. My first visit was not good, but they had just opened so I decided to give it a second try today. It was an even bigger fail. Visit 1: The traditional burrito was missing eggs entirely, but loaded with tiny chunks of dry bacon that tasted more like jerky. The fiesta burrito had turkey sausage which was good, but it had only a small bit of egg. The tortillas were too large for the amount of filling, leaving large spots of just plain dry folded tortilla to bite into. Tried the frozen pink lemonade, but it was mostly melted. Visit 2: ordered burrito bowls this time to avoid anymore tortilla abundance. It was ice cold, almost as if it had been refrigerated, mostly filled with potatoes, and much like the burritos it was seriously lacking egg and the cheese wasn't enough to add anything. It had one large chunk of egg on the side. I added pico (for $.30) which was maybe a teaspoon of it. They left out the salsa for both bowls. They need to check their temps before they make people sick, pay attention to what they pack, ADD SOME EGGS, and have much higher standards overall. This is a complete failure of a store. I would absolutely not go back, not even for a $3 breakfast. read more

I asked for one more and she said that she is unable to do so and I would have to drive around and pay for it. I said I was unaware of the new policy and if she can make a one time exception, she scoffed at me, said no, and closed the drive through window! read more

Giving a 2 star review because the drive thru and mobile order lanes are set up so horrible. Let me start off by saying I LOVE THIS PLACE. Customer service, food, pricing all awesome. But this is a huge problem that is extremely hard to ignore and is certainly a problem every time i come which is at least once a week.........I mobile order my salad every time I go because as someone who's on the go I need a quick pickup time. The line for the regular drive thru blocks the entrance to the mobile order line almost every single day because it gets so long, even runs out onto Greenway sometimes! You can go around Black Rock to access the mobile order if the line is too long but then the cars will block it off seeing the mobile order line moving so fast so you have to fight to get thru because people do not want to let you in thinking it'll make their regular drive thru line faster. It's a mess, I'm hoping they can get some sort of markings or signs to help this problem! read more
