Where do I begin -there is a new location which is across the street in the strip mall from the old place. But, I miss the old Salad works. I'd frequent the old location atleast three times a week for lunch break. The portions were always great and the service was excellent, to include the friendly staff. Let's fast forward to the new location. There were what appeared to be teenagers/younger adults working last night, that had the worst attitudes, as if it was a bother to make a salad. Ok, no problem. Just make my salad, please. The end result of my salad was garbage. Literally, the base was wilted and soggy and the portion was atleast half the normal size. So I downloaded the app made an account put all my information in and called to order food and it says delivery more than one time multiple times through the signing up process that they deliver, that's not true. The only way is to get your food through another third-party vendor you have to pay just to get a salad so one salad getting delivered 2 miles away would've cost me $26 and some odd cents plus tax so $30 for a salad? This is my go-to location when I feel like ordering lunch on days I work from home. Today I ordered a wrap, and the dressing was not mixed in. I know they don't mix dressing into the salads, but I didn't realize they don't mix dressing into wraps. Food here is pretty good. It's like Pennsylvania's version of Chop't. Everything seems pretty fresh. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap. I wish my egg was cut up a little more, and not just a whole egg cut in half. My wrap wasn't wrapped tight, but maybe the person doing it was new. read more

I never realized this place was a chain and recently started coming to this location for lunch occasionally. Every time I've been here, the service has always been good and fairly fast. The only times I've seen the service slow down is when another patron is being a major hindrance. The salads have always been excellent and rolls fresh. I rated this store before and gave them a four star but I had to change my review to a three star. I went there last night and was told they no longer mix the salad dressing in the salad. You can get the dressing on the side or they can squirt the dressing on the top but they won't mix into the salad. I was told this is a new "store policy". When you are spending $11 - $14 for a takeout salad the least they can do is mix in the dressing. It seemed so strange that I actually called another store a little down the road and they said they still mix the dressing in at their location (they are franchises). This place is great! Really good salads and a variety of things on their menu. The great options make it easy to find something you'll like and feel really great about the healthy combinations. The salads are large so I don't think they are overpriced because you are definitely getting a lot out of it. I got the Sophie Salad with chicken and bacon and it was so good, super filling and very fresh. I loved every bite!! I used to frequent this Saladworks a lot, maybe at least once a week. I even downloaded their app so I could accumulate points. I stopped going so often though because the quality seems to have gone down a lot. The portions are definitely smaller than they used to be. I've noticed the case where the food is kept is usually dirty (dusty, food debris in the corners). I think their food still tastes really great and I love how you can customize your own salad. Their lobster bisque and honey buffalo chicken are some of my favorite things to get when I come here. Their complimentary bread is also amazing when it's fresh and warm with some butter. They recently moved across Street Rd. I haven't tried them since the move but hopefully things are better there. read more

The salads here are more expensive compared to all other salad works locations. The portions are extremely small as well. To top it off the Manager is extremely rude! Ordered a salad online when I went to pick it up it had almost no dressing on it. Asked the manager, who happened to be fulfilling pick up orders if I could have a side of dressing because my salad had no dressing on it. He told me I had to pay for it. I explained again that I was only asking because mine did not have any. He was condescending telling me no less then 3 times that "all salads come with a standard 2 scoops of dressing" as if I didn't understand him the first time. Brought up the salad to show him the lack of dressing to which he replied to standard 2 scoop thing, again. Told me if I wanted the dressing I would need to pay .63 cents. All I had was a credit card because I had pre paid for my order. Finally told me he would give me the dressing but was unable to provide it to me in a cup and would need to pour it on himself (okay that's weird, what's is the difference?) proceeded to angrily pour dressing on top if it and hand me the salad back with dressing all over the sides and the fork that was in it. In today for takeout at 4:00 pm. Daniel served me and there were two other females working all focused on excellent service and upbeat. I was surprised that there are no labels on the customer side of the counter telling you what each item is, most Saladworks I frequent have it and the line moves quickly because I know I was stumped today. There was only a short wait about 6 minutes but there were only 3 people ahead of me. One was an elderly gentleman getting a couple create your owns to go. There is different prices for different categories of toppings and this location has shrimp available 4 medium with an up charge. The location was clean and everything was stocked. My create my own plus a couple additional toppings was very good, made correctly and all employees were observed neat and clean and complying with food safety and sanitation industry standards. I also ordered a medium Lobster bisque. It was flavorful a very buttery base and was a little separated possibly from being stored at a hotter then suggested temperature or from being in the pan uncovered or too long. It was the very bottom of the pan. I observed the employee scraping the pan to fill my cup. Pretty good lunch and dinner combined. The only issue was the bisque so I rate them a high 4 stars. read more

Ordered 2 salads and 2 soups online. I ordered at 12:30 and AFTER paying for my order, it says I can pick up between 1:30 and 1:45...over an hour to make salads??? My husband picks them up and I noticed on the receipt that I was charged for 3 "extra vegetables"...I never ordered any extras. I must say, although the salads were pretty good, they weren't very large, especially for the price which as I said, was more than it should have been because I was charged for things I never ordered. What started as an awful experience turned out to be a shining hope that there's still people out there that give excellent customer service! I ordered a create your own salad (ended up being $18) and had it delivered. I was pumped when it got there, tons of avocado, egg.. yum! I ate my first couple of bites and then bit into a hard piece of plastic. I wasn't hurt or anything, it was just unpleasant. I called saladworks to let them know so they could check their line. I spoke to Mike, the manager, who was very concerned and asked if he personally could drive to my house to not only bring me a new salad, but retrieve the plastic so he could figure out where it came from. Of course I appreciate the new salad, but as someone in the food industry I appreciate him taking the time out to personally deliver it, and that he is going to follow up and ensure it doesn't happen to anyone else!! Ordered 3 salads here the girl screwed up had to remake the salad for me. Then my other salads I ordered barely had anything in them who ever the girl was that made my salads was horrible. Then I wanted a soup for my son they go in the back and said oh I'm sorry we ripped the bag opened and it spilled it's gonna be a while until the next one is defrosted but you can have any other soup you like but I didn't want another one cause what they had my son wouldn't like. When I got up to the register, I almost was not going to purchase it but I felt awkward being it was made. I paid $10.00 for something that was only half full.
