She actually recommended a book to me- how refreshing is that? Instead of a prescription, she directs me to a resource so that I am a better-educated patient. I actually feel kind of bad for gushing about her, because I don't think she is taking new patients... But if that changes, and you are looking for a great endo, this is the doctor to get!

I was exploring a hormonal imbalance and she helped me get on a bioidentical progesterone which was exceedingly helpful. I wasn't however expecting to be blindsided by the visit to follow. Having gotten out of a recent break-up I saw Dr. Parker to explore getting pregnant on my own--possibly more hormone treatments, thyroid tests, anything that would help my fertility as a late 30-something woman. The first words out of her mouth were 'Well... I have two children and I could not have done it without the love and support of my partner.' She proceeded to ask me the following questions: -- Was I financially secure enough to raise a kid? (39 with a very successful business) -- Why not consider adoption? (Always a consideration of mine but expensive and I want to try natural conception while I'm still young) -- Why not consider dating someone with a kid? (Already a stepmom from my previous relationship) She asked me how I planned on getting pregnant and how I planned to give birth. I told her I pondered home birth and she proceeded to tell me a home birth nightmare story. All in all it was an incredibly shaming and negative experience. Absolutely nothing positive or empowering was uttered from her mouth and being a woman doctor--who supposedly embraces an alternative lifestyle--I expected a lot more out of her. I was definitely emotional in our visit but I don't think that was justification for her to be so judgmental. I sought out a holistic doctor to have a more positive experience not to be treated like I'm incapable and out of touch with my own aspirations as a human. It's taken me some time to have the courage to write this review but I think it's important. I wouldn't want someone else to have the same experience. I won't be going back to her, nor would I recommend her as a doctor.

When I first met Dr. Ness he came across to me as a doctor that sincerely cares about people and for family life. We all have a story and he wants to hear ours. He is calm, he listens and acknowledges our individual health concerns. David has given thoughtful referrals many times. He pays great attention to detail and follows up on our care. When picking up a script at the pharmacy the pharmacist commented on how, "Dr. Ness is great at getting back to us in a timely manner." It's a clinic that has a heart of gold and one you can trust. Dr. Holgers has been so amazing and incredibly helpful to me, finally getting me answers and finding solutions to the pain that I've been having for many, many years. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and thorough, but he is super friendly and personable, and he never rushes through the appointment. In fact, he's the first doctor that I've ever seen that has asked me if there was anything else that I wanted to address at what would have otherwise been the end of my appointment. At that moment I knew that Dr. Holgers was actually invested in making me healthier and pain-free. I was referred to Dr. Ruff for a neurosurgery consult and again was so impressed. She explained in great detail the surgery, as well as the pros and cons and was excellent at answering my questions and concerns. She was very friendly, clearly knowledgeable, and obviously committed to helping me make the best decision for me. I've also had two procedures performed here by Dr. Fredericks that had great outcomes. But just as importantly, the procedures themselves went very smoothly. Dr. Fredericks explained his every step so I was always aware of what was happening and exactly what to expect. He was very patient with my questions, he laughed at my really bad jokes, realized I was probably a bit nervous, and kept the atmosphere light and fun, rather than all serious and sterile...All the while performing very intricate and precise, but most importantly successful pain-relieving procedures. Lastly, this clinic also has a great physical therapy department. I worked with Johnathan and he was friendly, fun and great at motivating me, as well as great at explaining the mechanics of the body and how the exercises I was doing would affect my back and neck pain. Also, the Med X system that I completed was great and especially helpful for strengthening my neck and relieving neck pain. Overall, I (clearly) am thrilled to have found this Spine Clinic and the doctors and therapists there. I feel like I am finally on the path to a future free of back and neck pain and I am so thankful for all those at the M Health Fairview Spine Clinic who have helped me get to this point! Staff member was walking the parking lot, going in and out of the office. I expressed my concerns…read moreto the front desk and they advised me to ignore it. I advised she appeared to be sick, stumbling in parking lot and was carrying a yellow bag that staff told me was a regurgitation bag and she had neuropathy. The incident was downplayed by the staff and NP. I was told it was not serous and that it was not an issue that this person was walking hallways and coming passing patients in the hallway. After my visit I was to wait in the room for the lab tech. After 20 minutes I opened the door to find an ambulance stretcher blocking the door to the room I was in, I watched as the loaded the staff member and took her away. The NP was in the hallway, and I advised her I had not had my labs yet and needed to use the restroom. I was directed to the restroom. Upon my return I went back to the room, sure the lab tech would be in soon. 25 minutes later a staff member came into the room demanding to know why I was still there. I explained I has been waiting for over 45 minutes for my lab tests. An acting supervisor came in along with the NP and said let's get your lab test done. I expressed my concerns for the staff member and how I was treated, exposed to staff members unknown illness who left in an ambulance. I was told I was overreacting to a slight cough, I was mistaken in what I witnessed, that they were short staffed, and that this office did not have a manager due to frequent turnovers. Later when I checked my chart notes. The NP notes stated that I was upset that a staff member coughed, and I was only there for 50 minutes in total. It did not mention that the staff member left in an ambulance and that I was forgotten for over 45 minutes. I report this and a letter was sent saying it would be looked into, and I would be receiving a follow up. Several calls and 5 months have passed with no updates or corrections to my chart

When I contacted his office, his nurse told me he had ordered the MRI's I requested but that my insurance wouldn't pay for both of them. When I contacted my insurance, they told me my policy does cover both MRI's and I found that his staff had lied about ordering both of my MRI's, as he had only ordered one for one spot. In the meantime my mother died suddenly and unexpectedly and I had to cancel my MRI appointment last Dec, then I contracted COVID and the order expired. My insurance told me he must reorder the MRI, but he refuses and his staff told me they no longer want to work with me. Now I have to pay for another doctor visit somewhere else and start all over for the same problem.

The ladies in the office are nice but it took one of the nurses 4 times to get my blood and lots of brusing later. If you go, ask for the russian lady with short brown hair she is the one who knows how to draw blood, otherwise good luck. **Edited, Dr Liston helped me deal with thyroid and Hpylori problems, He truly listens cares and is the best internal med dr around!
