Probably the best massage of my life with Tonyce. Love the place for a splurge. Warm pool is fantastic, too

Chris coordinated all of my reservations and handled every detail seamlessly. They truly did not miss a beat. From the beautifully curated setup to the thoughtful touches--balloons, champagne, mimosas, strawberry lemonade, sparkling water, tea, and an incredible spread of light bites (charcuterie, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and strawberry shortcake)--everything was executed flawlessly. The experience felt incredibly exclusive, almost like I had the entire spa to myself and my guests. Antonio, the owner, greeted us personally and ensured we received white glove treatment from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I genuinely felt like a queen celebrating such a special milestone. When I walked into the lounge and saw the setup, I was overwhelmed--in the best way. I actually cried. The robes, slippers, added seating, and overall décor were stunning. Every detail felt intentional and elevated. My massage with Brenda was phenomenal. She worked out tension I didn't even realize I was carrying, and her nurturing, calming energy made the experience even more special. I left feeling relaxed, cared for, and completely restored. I'll absolutely be booking with her again--and I'm already planning to return for a facial with Ruby. If you've ever considered celebrating your birthday--or any special occasion--this way, run, don't walk to Unwind Wellness. I would rate this experience a 1000 out of 10. You will be cared for, celebrated, and treated exceptionally well.

Check in at the gym front desk and head straight back through the door that says "Aura Spa." There's street and garage parking nearby and a metro only blocks away. 2) Price: For a 60-minute quality massage in a nice environment, it only cost $115 not including tip. For this area, that's not bad. 3) Experience: It was a great experience. They made sure you stay hydrated, don't make you wait, and don't talk to you during the massage so you can relax.

See photo attached for entrance to the spa. I came here because I pulled my shoulder and it hurt to bend, turn, lay down, sit up, and basically everything else. I saw Agnes and she was amazing. She was attentive and gentle but still got the job done. The inside was so calm, and the ambience was relaxing and chill. I definitely felt pampered. I scheduled my appointment last night and was able to get in today. I have another appointment later this week since my massage therapist back home said to wait 5-7 days if you're getting a massage for a targeted area/for muscle pain, but I will definitely come here again! Another Yelper said $115/60 mins is great for Navy Yard, and while I think I could find less elsewhere, Agnes was worth it and I cant wait to go again. I felt immediate relief in my shoulder, and she even worked out knots in my lower back. She provided a full body massage (head, neck, shoulders, back, lower back, glutes, legs) and I left feeling like a new person.

I actually took my best friend there for Christmas, and it was such a great time. It was so good that the following year I sent my mother-in-love for her birthday, and another year I surprised my wife with a visit for hers. They both had amazing things to say about their experiences. I'm definitely overdue for a return -- I can't wait to go back this year!

The facility is lovely, wonderful ambiance. I went to a room that is for couples. I was disappointed that the massage was nothing like I've had before at other massage places. The man sat in a stool and applied a lot of oil, would slide his hands up and down my skin. Like a petting motion. The entire massage was like that. I didn't feel any different after the massage and found myself quite disappointed. I got an email from Origins reminding me to leave a review. I responded asking to speak to someone about my experience and after a week, no response. I proceeded to email the email address on the website and gave my feedback. No response after 3 weeks I didn't feel like that was a deep tissue massage. The gentleman was sitting on a chair for 90% of the massage. Maybe he had a long day already.

I had a great massage here a few months back!…read more I'm definitely a sucker for a massage - sometimes for a functional need, while other times more so for a treat. When I'm getting a "treat yo'self" massage, I'm looking for relaxation, ambiance and luxury. (When I just need a get'er done massage, I just need some hands!) The staff at Spa Pendry all seemed wonderful, but their amenities and relaxation areas were a little less cozy and relaxing that some of the other luxury hotel spas in DC. The massage itself was very heavy on the massage oil but the therapist was very concerned with needs being met and seemed to really care about the quality of the massage. Since there are excellent massage therapists at many spas, it's truly the amenities that wow me when I seek out a luxury and relaxation massage. Spa Pendry definitely checks many of those boxes!

They do have couple massages as an option, if you're interested. I love love love the Pendry. It's a whole vibe, it's giving rich mama vibes. Luxurious in every way. I typically do not use my phone while at this spa because of the sign that tells you not to as soon as you enter the woman's locker area. I was able to be a rebel with a Yelp cause and snap a few pics this go round because lucky for me, I was the first client and no one was around. Pros: This is hands down an absolute elegant spa! Probably one of the best in the DC area compared to the many other Luxury hotels. The amenities before and after a service are great. (Early bird appointments, you can use the amenities after your service, do not come early, they open promptly at 10 a.m.) Professional Staff, always courteous from the front entrance until you leave. Shout out to Wayne! Quality in all aspects! People, services, and products! They have a eucalyptus steam room, dreamy! Leave your flat iron, etc at home they have it all and the best brands too! They offer champagne! You can use the hotel amenities if you come. It's never ever super crowded. If you're paying this kind of money you don't want to be in a crowd. Spas should be peaceful. You can easily stay 3-4 hours, I always do! Cons: Parking: I love to just uber here and stay the night but if I don't, the con, parking is crazy! If you're using their spa you can valet for $35 for up to 3 hours! Sign me up, cause the garages are confusing and it's almost the same price for a couple of hours. Relaxation area: The relaxation area is in a common area not secluded from guests. It's not intimate. Gessika was perfect. My facial with her was fantastic. Wallace is my go to for massages. They have a new guy that is highly recommended, may have to try him next time! The price for services do not include gratuity but they do add on 22%. 18% goes to the person who assists you. Average day at the spa, $280-$500. Worth every penny! Overall, this place is a winner! Thanks to all the staff at the Spa Pendry! I'll see you soon.

I will post the email that I got indicating the $200 gift card and the order number as she presented the order number to the staff they allowed her to go in, which was nice but upon leaving, they treated her as if she was fraudulent because the gift card was under someone else's name - and I purchased an exclusively for her use. I have no idea how the names would be mixed up with someone else's, since the transaction was done on the line. However, producing the order number should've revealed everything that the gift card was paid for and who it was intended for. Really disappointed in how they treated her at her exit and the amount of text back-and-forth that I had to go through with her to prove to them that my credit card was charged and that the order number was produced, and I had a copy of it I'm so happy that I caught that screenshot. Otherwise this would've been a bigger nightmare. Eventually, they reconciled it, but not after making her feel terrible and this was supposed to be a relaxing spa day not so much.
