Salata located on Spring Green in Katy is one of my daily go to restaurants for lunch. The salads are great. You get to chose your base greens, veggies and protein. Salads were great and the portion sizes were nice. The staff was very friendly with giving samples to try the different dressings and meats. These people here are rude. I walked in and the woman at the desk was warm and friendly to everyone then barely spoke to me while i waited to get my order. When she did hand it to me she barely look at me or said anything. I came because they forgot to add my salad dressing and the man started speaking Spanish to the other women and tried to ask if they gave me dressing and they had an attitude and said yes. I like to sing fast songs but my fans love the BALLAD I like to log in but my password's INVALID I'm walking in the air with a Snowman like ALED And I like to go to Salata when I want SALAD I prefer Snakes And Ladders to Snakes And Salatas. But I'll tell you about that ladder on. Perfectly nice Salata location which gave me a decent portion but not huge. I enjoyed my salad and it was fairly fresh and we would come back to this location again if we were down in Cinco Ranch - which is not as likely as it used to be because we tragically found out that Bambu - which is our favourite Bambu franchise on earth - has closed down. We're not very happy about that. But we're happy about this salad, for sure, and have been here several times now. Salata is a Houston chain that is all over Texas now, and even outside Texas a little bit, and this one is way out in the middle of Katy and brand new. I quite enjoyed the salad here - it wasn't bad, although it didn't have anything on the best ones I've been to, which would be the one at Citycentre, and the one upstairs on Wesleyan in the Richmond district near the Galleria. The problem with a lot of them is that the portions are small. Other issues include bad service or ingredients not being fresh. This location didn't really have any of those issues, but it also didn't blow me away, and the salad could have been even bigger (like Wesleyan) maybe. Salata is still one of the best Salad Bars you'll ever eat at, unless you get a bad location or a bad crew or a bad day, because consistency definitely can be questionable at some locations more than others. The dressing that I like best is the fresh herb vinaigrette and we both like it which is unusual because we usually both don't get the same thing but here it's just that good that we do. Now speaking of getting the same thing we both like to get d***. It was gonna get 4 stars (closer to 4.5), but I noticed what they have as their top pic, so I decided to bump them up out of gratitude. Now I have to go, so I'll Salata Alligator. read more

Hello! I just wanted to commend the team working on the evening of March 20th, consisted of Raquel at the beginning of the station, she had a very sweet demeanor. Alexis was the one who primarily built my order (a wrap) and she is also one of my favorite employees at Salata! She is very kind, approachable and has excellent customer service. Anytime of day upon visiting she keeps up her positive attitude and welcoming aura. I'm currently 5 months pregnant and have been going to this location for the past month after being disappointed with a different location for too long and Alexis is definitely one of the reasons I always return back to this location. Anytime she makes my order I always get in a better mood from the interaction and full afterwards which is how you should feel after spending 20$ for a meal! Kris was the one to wrap my order and did so very efficiently and warmly like her coworkers, and one of my other favorite employees was also working that night, Mayra on register! She is THE sweetest and warmest woman I've encountered in food service so far! She helped me to start using my app to earn my points when I've had it for a while but just forgot to start using it, and have been shopping at Salata (different location) for over a year. But now just within the past month I've been earning points and rewards! The service was so exceptionally excellent so close to closing time that I felt moved to tip higher than the highest option available on the tip options given. All of these women deserve a note of recognition for their wonderful work ethic and customer service. Every time I visit it's a joy, but I was worried and felt bad to arrive so close to closing time, and the customer service I experienced completely wiped away any fears I'd had, and I left in a wonderful mood with amazingly delicious food for dinner. Thank you Salata at Cinco Ranch, and thank you very very much, Raquel, Alexis, Kris, and Mayra! Will definitely return and continue to recommend this location to everyone I come across! They don't give you enough toppings. They're really stingy. I'm only getting a couple of toppings from each section, so they should give me a good amount. I'm not asking for a lot of everything. They also aren't that happy here. I don't see smiles while they're preparing my salad. read more
