Still haven't found my go-to combo yet, but I've really enjoyed what I've built the few times I've been here. The ingredients are always super fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful every time. I usually spend around $15 for a regular portion with two proteins, which feels fair for the quality. I'll definitely keep coming back... until I don't.

Sadly, phone did not snag a picture before the first bite. Food felt fresh, clean, and a great amount for a two protein! Half salad/half rice with double salmon and every free side item is the move! Cheers!

spicy salmon, lobster Brown rice Ponzu, umami sauce Cucumber, onions, edamame corn, masago Onion, crisp, garlic, crisp, dry seaweed Forgot to add spicy mayo, but overall it was pretty good. I wish there was more variety of meat. I understand why it's simplified, but it would've been nice to choose up to at least three proteins for the price that I'm paying. I think it's just one protein too short. Other than that competitively price I would go to other places tho that have 3 instead of two protein for the price I paid

I want to preface I am a high spice tolerant person. I eat very spicy food consistently so I consider my spice level high. I ordered medium spice and I was running to the sink feeling sick because of how spicy it was. I was chugging milk and eating ice and was also crying. The food was good quality but the portions were SMALL. We ordered a large (3 protein scoops) and only recieved two of the three choices and only about half of the sides requested. I did not finish the bowl due to how insanely spicy it was but if I would have I would have still been hungry. I did order this on DoorDash as a heads up but 0/10 for real. I would give a good score for freshness but unless you have a spice tolerance that's INSANE you can't eat here and don't come with an appetite.

Great poke just like the Heights location. The seating area at this location looks a lot better too. Great decor, rood and nice staff.

The food was delicious and the place was clean too, but the service was a little slow. The miso soup had to flavor, it tasted like water with tofu and chives.

**FRESH, DELICIOUS POKE HERE** THANKS TO NICK FOR BEING AMAZING. Patient, kind and helpful...it's awesome when foodies know their stuff! Cute restaurant Fresh ingredients BTW the brown rice an the kale noodles are DELICIOUS! Love it, see you soon Aloha!!

So far this is my favorite poke bowl place in Houston... ...coming from Hawaii, I'm extremely picky with my poke bowls. Once I got over the fact that all fish here would be frozen, and nothing would compare with even the grocery store poke bowls back home I settled on a favorite. And here we are...customer service is good, not amazing. The options are great and help create a really filling meal. Will continue to visit this location as the other options for poke bowls here in Katy don't even come close.

    My creation.

I normally don't give anyone 5 stars unless you are REALLY REALLY GOOD. So there it is; 5 stars! I have never been to this restaurant before. It was so nice and clean. The service as spot on. The gentlemen who to my order was very helpful and kind. Not like some people who are only there for the paycheck. My poke bowl was perfect. The salmon, ahi tuna was cool and fresh. There was not one thing I did not like. I had a hard time finishing my bowl. That has never happened before. I don't drink soda but I did notice they do not have popular sodas like Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite etc.... it was some other brand I have never heard of before. But that a-ok with. All in all my first visit here was a huge thumbs up. I am adding this to my list of favorite poke bowl places.

$15.95 large 3 protein burrito. Shareable since it's pretty big and had good amount of protein (given the price), yum!
    Diana N.

Really good and fresh poke! We shared a large 3 protein sushi burrito ($15.95). They definitely put a lot of protein, which they should, given the price. We were both satisfied, 1 whole one would've been way too much for me. He struggled to close the burrito, but he did it :) Salmon Spicy salmon Ahi tuna Cucumber Corn Edamame Sweet onion Pineapple - refreshing Seaweed salad Surimi salad (crab salad) - free and yummy! Sriracha aioli sauce - not too spicy Onion crisps - added crunch! The main reason I tried this place out rather than going to Umaki was the $5 off when you download the app!

When I first walked in, the only front of house staff member on duty didn't acknowledge me and continued changing the trash bag for several minutes, while I was at the counter, before assisting me. There was no greeting either during my initial interaction or when I came back in to grab napkins for my order. This felt a little off in terms of customer service and I imagine it's not the experience the owner would want guests to have. The dining area was very hot, even with portable AC units running--it felt a bit like a sauna, which is why I decided to get my order to go. I also noticed the front door is quite difficult to open (there's even a sign warning you about it), which makes the first impression a bit awkward. As for the food, I was a little let down by the spam musubi, which came out soggy, but the barbecue chicken itself was tasty thanks to the sauce. I think with a few improvements--especially in customer service and comfort--the experience here could be much better. I would try again in hopes that today was just a one off experience.

The mac salad, which was what I was craving most, was honestly the worst part and one of the worst versions I've had. I'm not a fan overall. To be fair, it was decent value since I got a two-for-one special, so the price helped. But would I go back? Probably not. If I'm going to eat heavier food that isn't exactly healthy, it needs to taste really good, and this just didn't deliver on flavor. If I'm starving, I'd rather wait and get something better.

This quick and casual spot serves rice plates that are great for lunch or dinner and well-portioned…read moremeals whether you opt for their small, classic, or large. The plate includes a scoop of white rice, mac salad, and your choice of protein (chicken or pork) that's served atop another bed of rice. Over the past several years, I've patronized this establishment many times and have learned that they have improved in terms of both food quality and taste! In previous years, I felt that they were not very consistent with the texture of the rice as it was more mushy than firm and the chicken was more dry than my preference. More recently, the meals I've ordered came with consistency and quality, as rice was made well and mac salad was very creamy. The chicken meat was also coated with a very generous amount of sauce and flavored it very well. They have pineapple barbecue sauce and teriyaki packets for those who want more flavor than what it already has. I enjoy most their Honolulu Chicken (savory chicken infused with fresh garlic, green onions, and sesame), followed by their Kilauea Chicken (sweet & spicy grilled chicken with a lava hot kick). The Huli Huli Chicken (their signature dish = marinated teriyaki chicken grilled fresh) is a simple classic dish, while their Molokai Chicken (sweet & spicy grilled chicken with a little heat) is great for those who want a mini kick. Lastly, their Luau Pig (slow roasted kalua pork seasoned with sea salt) is a nice alternative to all the chicken options, though I've found it to be more dry than the other meats and generally less flavorful. On the other hand, the Dole Whip that is served here isn't all that. While the pineapple flavor is the original classic flavor, Hawaiian Bros offers a strawberry one too...all dairy-free, gluten-free, and fat-free. The texture is too airy and foamy compared to the Dole Whip in Hawaii, specifically the Dole Plantation in Wahiawa. The spam musubi are great to have whenever I'm craving a simple yet tasty snack though overpriced for what it is. With plenty of fountain drinks and even Icee beverages to wash all the food down, don't skip their Hawaiian Sun canned drinks to make it a sweeter experience. My all-time favorite drink is Hawaiian Sun Pass-o-Guava, which Hawaiian Bros has. I wish they could bring their Lilikoi Lychee (also a favorite of mine). I haven't tried their salads, wraps, sliders, or keiki (kid's) meals before but it's something I'll keep in mind. The pineapple or veggies are also nice on the menu, as they offer it as a substitute or as an extra item. Staff are friendly and efficient in preparing orders for dine-in or to-go, but likely you'll have to order via one of their self-service kiosks because of the concept.

Everything we had was flavorful, delicious, and all the meat was moist! I can't wait to come back and I'm sad it took me so long to find this place! Highly recommend!! Service was helpful and friendly. The restaurant felt very clean, spacious, and modern with a lot of natural light. They brought our food out to our table and gave us napkins and utensils, so we didn't have to get up and get them ourselves. Absolutely a great dining experience! The portions are also big! My bf and I each got a Hawaiian Favorite combo and couldn't finish them. The entrees are easily two servings for me, so it's a great value! The containers the food comes in are microwavable too, so extra bonus points for easy reheating! If you do manage to finish an entree in one sitting though, you will be stuffed! It wasn't mentioned on the menu, but there's steamed/sautéed cabbage under the meat. It looked a little deceiving because I thought it was just a huge pile of meat, only to find cabbage under. Thankfully, I love cabbage and appreciated that there were veggies to balance the heaviness of all the meat. That being said, there was still a lot of meat, just not as much as it looked like at first. They also give you little containers of sauce depending on which entree you get, which really enhanced the meal. If you get bbq beef or chicken, you get a delicious, sweet, Hawaiian bbq sauce. If you get the chicken katsu, you get a sauce that resembles sweet and sour. If you get a combo that has both bbq meat and chicken katsu, you get both sauces. I poured the sauce over the rice to season the plain white rice, then poured the rest on the meat even though it didn't really need it. BBQ CHICKEN: Moist, flavorful, and delicious!! Comes in small to large chunks. BBQ BEEF: Moist, flavorful, and delicious!! Comes in thin slices. CHICKEN KATSU: Moist! Fresh, crunchy breading! Tastes better with the sweet and sour-like sauce provided than on its own. KALBI SHORT RIBS: Delicious! Moist! Has fatty bits, unlike the bbq beef, which I really liked! Very similar, if not the same, flavor as the bbq beef. MACARONI SALAD: Delicious and flavorful! Tastes just like potato salad.

That would be great!!
