I placed an order via DoorDash on 3-14-26 in the evening. There was a long blonde hair in my salad. I spat out what I was chewing in the bowl and almost threw up. I have long jet black hair, so this was 100% not mine. The hair was underneath the lettuce etc. This is absolutely revolting and unacceptable from a chain restaurant. I cannot believe Cava doesn't have rules in place so this does not happen. This is a reflection of the brand and should be addressed. This Cava location clearly has unsanitary conditions. The price is good compared to similar cuisine elsewhere. The servers behind the counter are always friendly and patient. The self-serve drink bar is also convenient. The ambiance of being adjacent to a one of the ponds at La Centerra is awesome. Today, we ate outside on the patio watching the ducks and children play. The food is really good and the workers were really nice! I like to get the chicken with arugula and bean and rice. I also like the broccoli topping, the tomato topping, and the red pepper hummus sauce. It's so flavorful. They have unisex toilet stalls and changing tables in both of them, always a big plus. The tables could be a bit cleaner, but it's a self-serve type of place. Really good vegan and vegetarian options but the chicken was also really tasty regardless. They also have steak for an additional cost. I like the mall area, the parking is free and they have farmers market on the weekend. I just visited this location for a quick dinner. I had previously visited the locations in Fort Worth and Georgetown, so you can read my reviews for comparison. At this location, staff member, Manny had the pleasure of assisting me. Manny knows exactly how to handle his job and was trained very well. He did not hold back on portion sizes. He gave me a reasonable amount of rice, vegetables, and potatoes. That's how it should be especially for people eating strictly vegetables and no meat. He did give me the last falafel which tasted like mushy, sweaty balls. The inside of the falafel was a dark brown, with no visible chickpeas, and did not taste freshly made. Falafels are supposed to be crunchy with a greener inside to show that parsley and mint were included. So in other words, the falafel was disgusting. They actually had arugula and the white rice was seasoned with an olive oil base which made it appear buttery. The rice was fluffy too! The white sweet potatoes weren't crunchy and indeed soft throughout. This time I tried the balsamic date vinegarette which Manny commented was very popular since it is subtly sweet. It was a nice touch to the bowl and tasted better than the harissa vinegarette. Everything is clearly marked vegan so you will know. So far, this location is pretty solid. read more

This location is always nice and clean, except for the restrooms. They're usually in need of cleaning, no matter what time of day we stop in. This may be something that management can address. Maybe checking it every hour or so. While we love the food, we sometimes don't like the attitude of some of the servers, but it's only a few employees every so often.
