When we first chatted with Mike, we immediately felt comfortable with him and felt that our personalities were very compatible. He was professional, organized, and prepared (all important qualities in a wedding photographer), and also fun and low-key (key for keeping calm on the wedding day). We knew that on our wedding day, we would be spending the most time with our photographer and we wanted to enjoy being around this person, while being confident that they could handle the task. Mike's qualities helped us make our decision.  For our engagement session, we wanted a photo-shoot site that reflected us as a couple. Mike helped locate a beautiful meadow surrounded by pine trees for our session. It was the perfect location for an engagement session in the mountains! He helped us relax in front of the camera and coached us through various poses, while also allowing for candid shots. Mike was generous with his time, making sure that we got the best shots. Prior to our wedding, Mike met us at our wedding venue to walk the property with us. This allowed him to familiarize himself with the property, along with previewing where we should plan to take photos. The pre-planning was greatly appreciated! On our wedding day, Mike arrived on time and immediately got started. He worked well with our other vendors, including our videographer, which was important to us. Throughout the day, Mike had our schedule in mind and made sure that we were on-track. He was never intrusive and always courteous of our guests, but he also made sure to get the shots that we wanted. Looking back at our wedding day means that we're looking back at our wedding photos. We absolutely love the fine art film photographs that Mike captured; they are timeless and raw. We appreciate the professionalism of his digital correspondence and our photos galleries. We are blown away at the quality of work that he produced.
