They each have a unique style of teaching so it's cool to take multiple or different classes to get a mix of the styles they have ! Staff very friendly they are always trying to help out and don't worry about being discouraged they will make sure to make you feel better about yourself ! This group pushes my limits and takes me to deep water! That's for sure they make me dig deep and bring out my full potential. Thinking about starting some sort of form of combat ? This is the place! Pricing is good ! Remeber you get what you pay for and I feel I'm getting my moneys worth! For sure !!

DONT COME HERE!…read more First off, the pricing is incredibly misleading. There are no prices listed on the website, and when you call, they won't give you any info -- you have to go in person just to find out. They advertise a $199 starter pack, but once you're there, the price changes without warning. It's all very unprofessional and shady. I didn't even receive everything that was promised in the starter pack -- no gym bag, no proper uniform -- and they refused to give any refund or compensation for the missing items. Classes are often not taught by the owner or a qualified instructor, but by his son, and the front desk is handled by the owner's daughter. It feels more like a loosely run family business than a serious training facility. There's little consistency or structure, and when I decided to leave, they charged me a $200 cancellation fee that was never clearly explained beforehand. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone -- especially not beginners or women. The environment isn't welcoming, and "light sparring" often turns more aggressive than it should. Overall, disorganized, overpriced, and disappointing.

I recently concluded my relationship with this gym. The training and the instructors were good. I…read moreenjoyed the program and learned a lot. The gym itself is adequate for its purpose. Upon joining, I was informed I had to sign a six month payment agreement. I did so. I decided to end my membership because my drive to and from classes (1hr each way) became too burdensome and not because of the quality of instruction. I chose to end my membership as the 6 month deadline approached so as to honor my commitment. Attempting to end my membership required either going to the gym in person or the gym sending me a cancellation document through snail mail. After pointing out this procedure is archaic in a world where one can handle these things via the internet, the gym manager sent me a cancellation document.pdf to complete. I would still be required to return it in person or via snail mail. These terms are spelled out in the 6 month payment agreement. I was also informed that the "payment" team only worked once a week and it could be up to two weeks before they processed my cancellation depending on the day they received the cancellation document. I chose to cancel in person to avoid the letter (which they recommended sending by registered mail to ensure delivery) getting lost and my cancellation not being processed. I cancelled - in person - without administrative incident. I shared my thoughts on the cancellation process - I.e. how archaic it is. I was told that their process is standard practice used by all other gyms and wide groups of businesses in other industries. This is simply false. I'm sharing this experience so that anyone considering joining understands what they are signing up for. I find it curious and disappointing that the gym chooses not to handle cancellation via the internet, email, Docusign, or some other modern method. In my case, cancellation required another 1 hour drive to execute in person as I was not willing to risk an "administrative" error in processing it. While I cannot divine their intent, it can leave the impression that the gym is purposely making it as hard as possible to cancel in order to maintain a revenue stream as long as possible. Whatever their motive is, I encourage them to modernize their administrative practices in order to leave members - past, present and future - with a positive experience.

Updated: look at picture…read more I was encouraged to join this HOTWORX location with a friend who was really looking forward to me joining. She was a member and I was going to join with her. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing and honestly concerning. From the moment we walked in, the staff member Elizabeth was extremely friendly in the beginning. After my friend signed up, Elizabeth was okay until she needed to cancel due to getting pregnant. She froze and Elizabeth charged her card without any authorization or explanation, which is completely unacceptable. What made things worse was the complete lack of support or accountability. Trying to speak with a manager was nearly impossible. My friend made multiple attempts to get help and clarify the situation, but she kept getting ignored or redirected without any resolution. Despite her dues being paid, she was still denied access to the facility. Watching all of this unfold firsthand was frustrating it felt wrong and borderline unethical. Elizabeth's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. She spoke to my friend in a demeaning tone and made the entire experience uncomfortable. As someone who witnessed this firsthand, I can say it reflects very poorly on HOTWORX as a brand. If this is how paying members are treated, I would strongly encourage others to think twice before joining this location. There are plenty of wellness studios that actually care about their members and uphold basic professionalism this was not one of them. Either allow her to use the remaining services she paid for or issue a refund--plain and simple. Revoking her access while withholding her hard-earned money is completely unprofessional and speaks volumes about the quality and integrity of this business. It's unethical, especially considering she is pregnant. This level of disregard is unacceptable. Let's be clear, she did not have financial difficulties. That was never the issue. The real problem is the disorganization at this location and the fact that her card was charged without authorization. If her account had simply been frozen during her pregnancy like she requested, instead of being charged without permission, you likely would have retained two members and even gained more through referrals. Instead, you chose to mishandle the situation and now you're denying her access to services she paid for. That's not just unprofessional, it's discriminatory. To make matters worse, disclosing personal information like claiming she had financial difficultiesis completely unethical and a serious violation of privacy. What kind of establishment shares private member details in public responses? That alone speaks volumes about the professionalism and integrity of this business. If you were confident enough to post that response publicly, you should be willing to stand by it. Removing it only confirms that you knew it was inappropriate, unprofessional, and entirely out of line.
