I called over a dozen tire shops in Salem and only three of those shops had a replacement tire in stock that was the same size. Two of those shops said the earliest they get everything done was the next day. The one shop that had the tire in stock AND could install it that day was Martinez Tires. That's where I went. I expected to wait for at least a couple of hours since I was a walk-in without an appointment, and they would just have to fit my job in where they could, you know? But that's not what happened. As soon as I got there, they took my car in the shop, swapped out the new tire with the bad one on my wheel, balanced it, mounted it, and I was out of there in less than 20 minutes. Twenty minutes! And I showed up on a busy Friday afternoon with no appointment. I'd give these guys 10 stars if I could.

I had a hard to diagnose steering issue with a Ford Fusion, and I wasted a lot of time and money…read moretaking my vehicle to three different shops without the issue being fully resolved. A mechanic friend of mine recommended Hillyer's, It took a few weeks to get in, but they quickly and correctly diagnosed the issue (failing wheel bearing and bent steering knuckle). The knuckle had to be ordered so it did take a few more weeks to get the repair done, but when all was said and done they fixed the issue at a reasonable price, no more sticky steering, vibrating, and clunking. They also subtracted the $75 diagnostic fee from my final bill, which was appreciated. I would definitely recommend Hillyer's, and they will be my go to with any future suspension, alignment, or wheel issues.
