Mount Regis did what they advertised, just with a mixed bag of a lot of small mistakes or screw ups…read morewith 1 alcoholic being helped. I want to Mount Regis for Medical Detox and rehab for Alcoholism. I worked, but... 1st, the clinical staff were fantastic and very supportive. I got more out of one on one sessions and small group sessions, then large group sessions. Most of the large group topics applied to coping mechanisms and trauma therapy. (Which for me helped very little) 2nd, the food was 3 star cafeteria food, processed meat (mostly chicken) and ok veggies. The cafeteria staff were great (minus 1) you will definitely form a bond with them (ask for Auntie, he will make you day...and yes it's a guy...you'll get it when you meet him) 3nd, Admission and case management. Very sub par. Grant I was there when they just extended number of patients they could hold. But, first going in went well (minus, me starting to detox while speaking with them. Nothing I of them could do about that). But trying to get information, requests in was extremely difficult. Between lack of availability of the staff in discharge planning and getting a go to the person and that person telling you go to the person you already talked to... 4th, Nursing staff, same as the administration staff, but they didn't even seem to care. They acted like, I'm here for a pay check. Overall, I went there to get help, mission accomplished. But I would recommend a smaller facility.

Awful experience. There is a staff relationship that's really inappropriate. Maria Arrington and…read moreTrevor Cooper are together and work together as a counselor and a recovery coach. Definitely unprofessional as they text about other patients private business. And Sharmane Garland violates hippa and gives information out. Also while I was there, there was drugs going around the facility, the boys are shown favoritism, and a nurse gave the wrong meds to the wrong person just because both ladies were in a scooter. Not a safe place.

I would not recommend this provider. When I was initially transferred to her, she was very short,…read morestraight to the point, and ready to get off the call. I assumed it was due to the early appointment time (8:15am). It was not. Between appointments, I expressed concern over the cost of my prescription. She suggested I contact my insurance company for a list of approved medications. Once the list was received, I promptly sent it to Nancy in hopes we could discuss alternative (and cheaper) options during our next visit. We did not discuss those options... During our visit, I asked if she had any recommendations, suggestions, tips, or tricks for handling overstimulation and stress. Unfortunately, while she was typing away, her suggestion was to search online. After those two appointments, I chose to see what other providers were available in my area, but I did not request to change. Once she received word that I was looking for an alternative provider, she immediately canceled my prescription (that she had just sent in) without giving any notice to me. If you are looking for a provider that will renew your prescription, you're in luck! If you are looking for a provider that will listen, understand, and work with you, keep looking.
