This was an excellent meal! I'm not sure why Prosecco Cafe only has a 3.9 rating. The food was…read moredelicious and the service was so helpful! Also, the outside seating was perfect on this beautiful night. I had the salmon which was served atop spinach and grilled sweet potato, and an apricot chutney on top. I can't wait to have it again! The dish my GF had was also excellent. I don't remember the name, but have posted a picture. We'll be back!! Note: both dishes were prepared as requested, gluten free and dairy free.

I ordered my long time staple, the American breakfast, and added a side of avocado because my grandson lives for eggs, bacon, and avocado. I knew I would be able to share my meal with him. The reality is my heart was set on the bread basket which is why I adore this meal so much. I also ordered a cappuccino with oat milk sprinkled with cinnamon and it was delightful. We dined inside because it was a bit warm out and I wasn't sure how he was going to respond to al fresco dining. From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience. Our food was delicious as well as my cappuccino and we had plenty to consume along with leftovers. Finally, Lisa was the ray of sunshine my soul needed that day. I look forward to adding Prosecco back to my brekkie rotation and will visit again soon. P.S. They still have the best baked goods available for purchase.

My sisters, Mom, and I celebrated my birthday at Serenity Garden tea House & Cafe a few months ago…read more Since I had never attended a tea service before, I had no idea what to expect. Serenity exceeded our expectations so much that my sisters and I returned for a farewell get together for my sister about six weeks later. The house that Serenity occupies was built in 1916 and definitely adds to the charm of the experience. The decor is quaint and 'girly' with large hats and tea pots scattered around the shelves and walls. Many tea cups, saucers, and plates are displayed throughout the shop. I was so happy that Serenity offers a gluten free menu. The first course for me consisted of a delicious sweet potato soup. I wished I could have eaten more but there was plenty more food to come. The gluten free finger sandwiches were also tasty. The chocolate covered strawberry, macaron, and brownie (all gf) finished up a filling tea service. The desserts were store bought and tasted good but they were obviously store bought and were a minor let down. We ended up boxing up some of our sandwiches and desserts to take home to enjoy later! Each of us were given our own large pot of tea to go along with our lunch. Our first visit, I chose Peach Black Tea while one of my sisters tried the Chai Black Tea. We both bought the same teas from the store in the tea house to take home with us as we enjoyed them so much. The individual tea pots are quite large, The tea pots are wrapped in large, colorful cozies to stay warm throughout our visit. My sisters and I sampled each others' tea, of course. Each of us also drank a glass of champagne. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. I wish I could remember the name our server as he took care of our table both times we visited. He really helped make our visits to Serenity special and relaxing. The owner and the staff really work together to make a visit to Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe a fantastic experience for their guests. We'll be back!!

This cute French bistro reminds me of the bistros I enjoyed in Paris…read more The Ambiance: Cute "very French" styled bistro with limited table availability with 7 tables two high tops and 8 bar stools inside and 3 outside tables. If you want to know how the French dine, this is the place for you. The Food: This where the bistro shines. I chose the Les OCufs Gratings which featured baked eggs with soft center, a touch of cream & melted Swiss cheese. I added the ham and spinach optional. The dish was accompanied with a toasted baguette. It was a fantastic dining experience!! In addition to my entree I also tried their raisin roll which was a wonderfully light and crispy pastry that represents French pastries beautifully. One negative, I ordered a black tea (only offered Earl Grey) and steamed milk (got hot milk). You would think a place that offers cappuccinos and lattes could be able to provide steamed milk but, obviously not here. However, I must admit, although I don't like Earl Grey tea, this version was actually ok. Service: Where the ambiance and food scores 5 stars, the service drags it all down to a 3 star experience. My server deserted me after I placed my order. Asking for more hot water (for my tea), another honey packet or anything else required me getting up and searching for "anyone" to assist. The Bottom Line: As always, my "customer so what"... would I come back: Most likely, because the food and atmosphere were exceptional, I'd more than likely put up with the service. If you don't mind paying the price of being ignored to "eventually" enjoy a fantastic meal, you'll like this bistro.

The fruit tart is exceptional and the macrons are always delicious. The restaurant has a country bistro feel to it although the seating is not terribly comfortable.
