Office Staff are Extremely Rude and Arrogant, I agree with early reviewer Jason B. , They are consistently unprofessional.

So far I have to say Dr. Worsham has been GREAT!!…read more i took my husband over to SVMH ER last Wednesday for a high fever and severe left flank pain. We already knew he had a kidney infection and was placed on IV antibotics immediately. Dr. Worsham's partner first saw my husband on Thursday to discuss the results of an MRI. Dr. Apaydin then called me directly to discuss the results and that he wanted to also do a CT scan, which was done that day. The results of that were conveyed to us by the Hospitalist, Dr. Tan and that Dr. Worsham would do a consult on Friday morning to discuss the plan of treatment based on the CT and MRI results. Spoke with Dr. Worsham over the phone where he indicated that the first step was to insert a stent. This was done on Friday afternoon where the immediate effect was the release of kidney stones, pus and urine. The source of the infection had been determined to be the urine build-up in his kidney. Today when I visited my husband he looked WAY better than he had on Wednesday and Thursday. After the stent surgery, Dr. Worsham explained to me in easy to understand terminology that my husband is a very sick man and that he wasn't out of the woods yet. Dr. Worsham laid out his proposed treatment plan, also indicating that he wanted to keep my husband in the hospital for a few more days. I told him to keep my husband in the hospital for as long as he felt it was necessary. I'm glad i found him. I believe he literally saved my husband's life. Haven't had an opportunity to go to his office. All the above transpired at Salinas Valley Memorial hospital, which in my book also deserves 5+ stars!!

Doctor Brickley Sweet was my urologist for 28+/- years. As a doctor who took the oath "Thou shall…read moredo no harm" I assumed he was a competent doctor. I was wrong! In 2015 I started passing large amounts of blood in my urine for several days. When I consulted Dr. Sweet he simply said "It is was like my prostate had a bloody nose." He prescribed more Flomax. I continued to pass blood from time to time and his answer was always the same just a bloody nose caused by 'prostatitis'. He performed a cystoscopy once in 2015 but not again until January 2020! After which he said he did not observe anything. I mentioned my situation to my general doctor and he immediately ordered a CAT Scan. To which Sweet said "You don't need to do that. Don't waste your time or money. I just scoped you." I had the scan about 2 weeks after Sweet supposedly "scoped" me. Results showed TWO large masses in my bladder. One tumor was 5cmx3.5tcm (size of a tennis ball) and a smaller growth (3.5cmx2.5cm). I was informed that this type of cancer is slow growing which meant [it] must have been developing in my bladder for several years to get that large. Meanwhile Sweet continued to diagnose [it] as prostatitis for which more Flomax and occasional antibiotics were prescribed. Although he touts himself as a bladder specialist he never once mentioned or seemingly even considered the problem was in my bladder and not my prostate at all! Subsequently over next 4 months I endured THREE trans-urethral bladder resections to remove the growths and determine if the malignancy had spread beyond the bladder. To make a long story short early November 2020 had my bladder and prostate removed due to the poor service I received from Dr. Sweet. My life has been forever changed. I now must wear a urinary bag for the rest of my life. I honestly believe Sweet's practice does more harm than good. He does not have his patients' best interest in mind but rather continued to "practice" only for the money. Furthermore I have met several other men who have had similar bad experiences as mine at the hands of Sweet. I would highly recommend seeing a younger doctor who is up on new procedures and cares about his/her patients. I DO NOT recommend Doctor Sweet. Thank you, John Karnofel
