My dad has been treated here for his Heart Failure since 2016. I know he is good hands with Doctor Regwan and his staff.

Poor service, the people that work here hate their jobs and treat patients poorly. They make so many scheduling mistakes and blame you for it with a ghetto attitude. The cardiologists there are almost all arrogant and don't care to really treat you, just scold you. Especially doctor Rikin, avoid him at all costs. Just go to a different place, one where they give a shit about patients and want to make a difference in your health. read more

This office Doctors are said to be the best and Top rated.......... I am so frustrated and disgusted with the office staff and the Doctors saying "well I don't own the clinic so it's beyond my control , you should complain to the Hospital SVMH, they run it", or they say oh that's not ok I'll be sure to talk to them about it, and then do nothing! The front office needs to control their speaking volume! There is such a thing as a Hippa Law requiring confidentiality of patient information. Secondly if you have a scheduled appt and the doctor decides to leave early, but says don't reschedule my patient just put them off into a Assistant, whom they don't know, have never seen before, and doesn't contact the patient to let them decide on if they want to keep the appt or reschedule, isn't it the patients choice? Not yours!!!!!!!!.........while I need the care due to a serious heart condition, they act as though it's no big deal and I have to almost die from a heart attack to get them to pay attention because "I'm too young"........ hope they get their crap figured out, otherwise they will have people looking for other physicians, and unfortunately the Doctors won't care because they work for the hospital, so they get their paychecks anyway!!!.... Rant over, but still feel that the office staff needs help, yes you push a ton of patients thru your offices each and every day, I worked for a health office that pushed 100+ patients so I know the stress of getting all in and out, however, customer service and patient satisfaction is key! Check your front office attitudes and treat everyone as you would want to be treated, kill with kindness even if you have a bad day! read more

Called hilda in regards to a prescription refill and she is very unpersonable and kinda rude! Seems like she didn't enjoy her job. Not my 1st time having issues with her in regards to filling a script. Find a different job if you don't enjoy your job. read more

When you call the office you are told "office hours are 8-5 five days a week" Clearly no one there can tell time. I called untl 8:30 still no answer. I find this whole not answering ordeal an insult. Are patients time NOT as important as the office staff? read more

CC Cardiology is one of few options for cardiology in this area. As of 1/4/2019, this practice is no longer doing cardiac clearances for patients needing surgery with general anesthesia. The lady at the counter told me it was their office manager's decision to stop offering this service. Go figure.... They tell you to get the clearance from your GP, who of course is the one who sent you to CC Cardiology in the first place, since your GP does not want to take on the liability associated with that clearance. At date of this writing, there is a cardiologist at Primecare who is doing cardiac clearances. If you have a PPO, you may be in luck. read more

This is a really busy office! My wait was pretty minimal, which was nice. I met with Dr. Saito, who was very personable and patiently answered all of my questions. I had to see a cardiologist, because a pre-surgery EKG showed some irregular readings for my heart. Dr. Saito assured me that my ticker seems to be working fine, but we'll run some tests just to be sure. He explained exactly what the tests would be, so that's coming up shortly. My dad went to Dr. Zetterland because he has an aortic aneurysm.....long story short the Dr. said he didn't need to see him anymore because the surgery would be too risky at his age. This doctor is showing a lack of conviction and concern. Doctors take an oath to do no harm. If this aneurysm was to balloon and burst that is negligence on his part!! When my dad first saw this doctor he said he does this surgery on many elderly patients so why is it an issue now? read more

I started to get light-headed and gasp for air when walking. I called my GP and she immediately sent me to the ER after she heard what was happening. ER did a battery of tests and couldn't figure it out so they referred me to a neurologist. After a couple of tests, the neurologist thought it wasn't a neurological issue but could very well be a heart problem. They referred me to Central Coast Cardiology that day - May 25th. Central Coast was supposed to call me with an appointment. When I didn't get called after a couple of days, I called them. The receptionist asked for my symptoms and said once she talked to Doctor "Bob" they would call for an appointment. I didn't hear from them so I called again a few days later. The receptionist said again that she would get the okay from the doctor and would call me back once they got his approval. In the meantime, my symptoms had become steadily worse. I couldn't work and could barely get out of bed and had passed out two times. Today is June 12th - almost three weeks later. I got a call from the neurologist's office. I have a follow up appointment with them tomorrow, and since they hadn't gotten any report on the results from the cardiologist, they called them for that information. They found out I hadn't even been in to see them yet. The neurologist, obviously, got them to finally call me with an appointment. I called the cardiologist regarding that appointment and was put on hold for over 5 minutes and then was disconnected. I called back again and was told that they had made an appointment for me in July! But only AFTER the neurologist called them this morning! Bottom line, if anyone refers you to Central Coast Cardiology or Salinas Valley Medical Clinic (not sure why they have two names for the same group of doctors) run, don't walk to another doctor. I did. After the 3rd time contacting them, I found an excellent cardiologist in Carmel. When he heard my symptoms, he squeezed me in that same day. He probably saved my life. read more

It's usually the bedside manner some people have and complain about it. With the "office staff" here, you will be hard pressed to even GET to the physician to even learn about their bedside manor. One would think customer service would be part of a receptionist/office personal that deal with "customers". Granted, it's not a retail "store" if you will, but nonetheless, they DO have "customers" aka patients...they definitely do NOT have patience, that is certain...nor do they have etiquette - regular OR business. The office manager acts if she is doing YOU a great big favor just by interacting, even the staff roll their eyes when she clicks her heels back and forth across the reception area...and she does it frequently. You should call ahead and see if your physician is actually there, ask them to "please tell me the truth"...the 2 hr + waiting is unacceptable. However, emergencies DO occur and when that happens, I completely understand. Unfortunately all of the times we have had our long waits, there was no emergency. The physicians here are TOP rated in their fields, I just hope people don't start going elsewhere because everything else about this practice is bad. read more

Busy office, front staff was unable to find an appointment for my father. He was 2 weeks post op for valve replacement and aortic aneurysm, the VNA's had called, there are 10 faxes for medication changes and his GP called to try to get him in because he wasn't well. We went to the ER twice, cardiologists just had medications changed. The second visit they found he had fluid around his heart. Had he been seen in the office 5 days before, perhaps the outcome would not have been his death. They drained over 2 1/2 liters of blood from the sac around his heart. There was only 15 days between pulling out the chest tubes and the draining. Unfortunately his heart was unable to oxygenate his blood because it was so compressed, all of his organs were compromised by the time it was figured out. How can the doctors have no time to see a man right after heart surgery who is in distress? Whose physician called? Who came into the office in person? read more
