We started with pots of Peach White Tea and Salted Caramel Black Tea -- both brewed perfectly and a great way to ease into the afternoon. For appetizers, the Tea Cheese Toasts were very yummy, but the Okonomi Tater Tots absolutely stole the show. Tater tots with okonomi sauce, Kewpie mayo, furikake, and scallions shouldn't be allowed to be this good. Our sandwiches -- the Croque Monsieur and the Teagan -- were delightful and well executed. And then came the scones. Warm, tender, and served with clotted cream and strawberry jam, they were the perfect finish. Service throughout lunch was impeccable, attentive without ever feeling rushed. After eating, we headed into the shop for a tasting and some browsing. The tasting room team guided us through Winter White Earl Grey, Rose Scented, Scottish Morn, and Pu‑Erh, helping us zero in on teas we'd love. The shop itself is beautifully organized, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We've been fans of Harney & Sons for years, and this visit reminded us exactly why we keep coming back.
