I once asked the owners about the signs, and was advised that people come in to check out a product, take photos, and then go home to search for it online, which is very rude. For me, I stop in the store every time I am in town. They always have a lot of unique things and quite a variety as well. I can always find the perfect give for someone, and I can of course always find "gifts" for myself. The owners are so nice and I can't imagine anyone saying they are rude. They even did a special order for me for items that were not in stock at the time. Now that is the customized service you get in a small family owned business.

My son had gotten stung by wasps in the town center nearby and she was kind enough to let us use her bathroom and even gave us free soap and a little toy to make my son feel better. That being said...I was in town visiting relatives and stopped by the Fife's gift shop to buy a birthday present for someone. It was a Monday at 11:30am. The sign on the door said open Mondays, 10am - 5pm. The gift shop was locked up, no lights on. I strolled over to the restaurant to inquire, thinking maybe the proprietress had taken a potty break. The group of Spanish-speaking workers in the restaurant were clueless about the gift shop, so I gave up and went elsewhere. So...had to deduct stars. Sorry Gift Shop...but you really need to stay on top of your game. You never know when a Yelper might drop by and then post a review!
