Now in the present a new marriage and uniting of a family unit to a "family!" In the year of the horse, 2026 we placed a new lock here . We have always been drawn to container park. It was probably the big tree house here . Many times over and over again we played here. The shops come and go here, you can purchase a lock at the container park store or order one on Amazon. At night the mantis and mascot for the park lights up and spits fire. Parking is a nightmare here. Best times to come are early in the morning, especially on the weekends. They always have some sort of extra event happening in the area it's part of the beautification of the area. It's truly been revitalized. When we used to come here decades ago, it's was rough . Make new memories. The past is ready to be put to bed. Let's live and be the best we can be .

I was in town for a friend's wedding and I needed to get my hair done. I had an appointment at a…read moresalon and had the friendliest hairdresser. She told me she was from Las Vegas and because she was a local I asked her where she liked to spend her free time. Her eyes lit up. I know in her industry the focus is always the customer but I'm guessing it was rare for her that a customer asked what she liked to do. She told me that she enjoyed visiting Container Park and told me to check it out during the daytime but also nighttime just to experience the contrast. She even told me about the mantis art piece. I thanked her for the suggestion and she did a great job styling my hair. I never forgot her kindness. So on two separate visits to Vegas I went with different groups of friends and fam to Container Park. It's such a fun and welcoming open space with cute shops and restaurants in former shipping containers. I liked the concept of reusing things in creative ways. If an object can be repurposed instead of going into the landfill then that's always the better option. Sure enough I saw the Giant Metal Mantis show at night. It's a pretty unique and fun place for kids and adults.

Their department stores here all have a large selection and I find myself frequenting this location for the Macy's in particular. Other smaller stores like Abercrombie, Free People, etc. have a great selection as well. The famous Hello Kitty Cafe is also here for those who like cutsey things like that. Parking is easy if you park in the structure and it's free parking. Just be prepared for some congestion if it's a busy time of day or there's a nearby event going on. The mall itself is nice and I appreciate the hanging flowers in the center area. They always seem to have something for the holidays too, such as photos with Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc.

I parked over at the Caesar's parking garage and took the shortcut from the parking garage, into the forum shops, which brings you to side entrance near Cheesecake factory. As soon as I stepped into the mall area, I noticed the ambiance of the shopping stores! The overall Roman inspired architectural style, including marble statues, fountains and a painted sky ceiling makes the whole area look like a showplace rather than a standard shopping mall. Everything looks very beautiful and well maintained! This mall contains over 160 different retail locations such as stores and restaurants. Some of those retailers include luxury brand names such as Gucci and Versace while others are more casual shops. Just walking around, taking in the sights and sounds of the mall is worth the time, and just to explore, even if you do not plan to shop. I really enjoyed walking around all of the different areas of the mall, stopping to admire the fountains and unique decorations throughout. I also appreciated the wide range of food locations like from quick snacks to full service meals! If you're looking for some place to shop while visiting Las Vegas, I'd recommend stopping by the forum shops at Caesars. There are so many different dining options and stores to explore inside. There is also the fountain show too!

It's a bit tricky to find - just follow the signs for self parking. Unfortunately, parking is not complimentary. Locals with a NV license can receive three hours of free parking by scanning their license at the exit gate. Once you exit the garage walk straight ahead and turn left to enter the forum shops. The interior is beautiful and designed to give you the feeling of being outside with the sky overhead. There is a lot of Roman decor as well. There are many high end stores here including Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and many more. There is also a huge Bucherer jewelry store for all your jewelry and watch needs. There are a lot of great restaurants inside as well. We really enjoy the Palm. For your clothing needs you can't go wrong with Psycho Bunny which you'll find here as well. Definitely visit Forum Shops for your shopping needs!

Miracle Mile Shops contains several specialty stores, bars, restaurants, souvenir and sundries shops and even a live performance area. Patrons enter on one side of Planet Hollywood and as they walk through this "mall", they move in a circular direction, as the shops wrap around the rear perimeter of PH's performing arts venue. They'll eventually exit on the other far side of the casino floor from where they'd initially entered the shops.

They have the usual annoying cosmetic stores with the women literally chasing after you, proffering samples. It's like a Vegas plague. There are souvenir stores and ABC stores of course. But there are some unusual gems too. Dr. Fish is where you can go for the fish pedicure experience (get yourself a Groupon). There is a massage place. There are shows at the Theaters and a food court with some unique choices. The only downside is if you're planning to leave using a rideshare. If you are, there IS a designated Miracle Mile Shops rideshare area, but most drivers don't seem to acknowledge it, so they will inevitably go to Planet Hollywood and leave you standing outside in a garage area waiting. It's frustrating and it happens to us every time we go there. And every time, the drivers have insisted that the correct spot to pick up is Planet Hollywood. So plan ahead on that or maybe just give in exit through Planet Hollywood. Good way to end a pretty solid afternoon.

I love the vintage vibe in the Arts District in LV. Glam Factory is packed with all kinds of goodies. Stephanie, the owner was nice enough to show me the armadillo purse. She can tell I was down for the creepy vibes. There was racks of all kinds of vintage finds. It was challenging with my baby angel on my back but I managed to find the most beautiful, floral, eighties blouse with sheer sleeves! It was giving Robert Smith vibes. A must in my book. It was a great deal too. The shop is located close to all the other shops and you can really make a nice afternoon just shopping. I would definitely keep an eye out for one of a kind pieces for a fair price.

Tons and tons of places to drink, too! Personally, I prefer to spend time in the Resorts, but if you need something quick, I am sure you will find it here. I was stunned to see the wide variety of shows there too, most of the figures were pretty cheap for the quality. All of them looked absolutely amazing and it was often hard to choose between some due to how gorgeous they were. I ended up getting this pretty pink haired girl. I would ABSOLUTELY come back here again!
